Swamp Foxes.........

I'm not sure... I've had them for years; trot them out every so often to jazz up the look of a plane, but that was all they did. I put all of them in 1 zip. ASQ-213A_AAQ-33.zip Now I remember. They're in the Operation Darius Mod.

I tried running a mission with this pod loaded, but as near as I can tell, it didn't do anything other than be a visual item. What exactly is it supposed to do?

Ahhhh, the Graf, where the suns shines every 6 weeks for a total of 2 hours a day in the winter: non-consecutively too. But I thought it was fun: for an AF trooper being attached to a Air Liaison & FO unit (they asked for volunteers), I had the time of my life. You Army guys have good chow, but DAMN that place is cold!!!!!!!

I was just getting to Bitburg & being reassigned to Spangdahlem in 93. Mt. Home was the dreaded assignment nobody wanted at the time. Hell, I went to Incirlik to get out of it.

I'm running out of bases. If not Pope, all I have is Luke, Eglin, or just maybe Hill. It been a few days since I retired, and I haven't kept up with all the rearranging going on. I know it's not SpangQuentin, Linestein, Kunsan or Osan. But in my own defense, most of my career was spent around F-4's, F-15's & B-52's. Korea was the only time I was involved with F-16's on a daily basis, other than when Hahn & TJ deployed to Turkey when I was assigned there.

Hmmmm.... Then lets try the SCANG Swamp Foxes: 157th & 316th, flying C's & D's, Block 52.

I'm going to take a flier on one of my favorite assignments, and go with the WolfPack; 35th & 80th Squadrons, flying C's & D's, Block 40.

I remember those days........

It started out well enough....... Got shot up trying to kill the target... So let's nurse it back to the boat..... Compensating for the damage with rudder & throttle work; boat in sight, I'm in the pattern..... And........ I ran out of lift JUST off the stern. Translation: It quit flying and began falling out of the air. The fireball was spectacular, though.

Considered the Harm, but went with the AGM-123. I like doing that in a Typhoon. It goes up like a rocket.
