I was running the previous ODS mod, and I thought it was the pinnacle of what could be done with the series. I was wrong. Playing the newest version is like stepping into an entirely new SF, and it blows away the previous mod. And that is saying something. The level of detail and the immersive realism puts it in a class by itself. Just sitting on the carrier deck watching the undulating waves can be mesmerizing, let alone flying over them. The mod is, in a word...superb, and my hat is off to all the creators, contributors, and everyone that had a hand in this. As my daughter would say: "It's Bussin'". I haven't had this much fun with a flight sim in quite a while. If there was a 6th Star to be awarded, I would give it.- 56 comments

5th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, whose tenure lasted from 1960 to 1988, flying F-106 Delta Darts In the mid-1980s the 5th converted to the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagles. The F-15s only flew over Minot until the spring of 1988, when the FIS was inactivated.

I'm not sure... I've had them for years; trot them out every so often to jazz up the look of a plane, but that was all they did. I put all of them in 1 zip. ASQ-213A_AAQ-33.zip Now I remember. They're in the Operation Darius Mod.

I tried running a mission with this pod loaded, but as near as I can tell, it didn't do anything other than be a visual item. What exactly is it supposed to do?

Ahhhh, the Graf, where the suns shines every 6 weeks for a total of 2 hours a day in the winter: non-consecutively too. But I thought it was fun: for an AF trooper being attached to a Air Liaison & FO unit (they asked for volunteers), I had the time of my life. You Army guys have good chow, but DAMN that place is cold!!!!!!!
