I do use that one; especially when I'm flying French Crusaders. That's the map where thsese were taken. (Hopefully, this protocol breach of it not being Monday is allowed in this instance) Getting them back on the smaller decks is the real challenge.

"Rainy Days & Wednesdays, always draw a nuke" AGM-129's will keep me out of a hi-threat environment. 3 of them mean I can go home early.... This is probably how the dinosaurs felt.....

I'm using this one. The folder & data line says East Med, although the Terrain Full Name comes out as the Adriatic Sea South East Europe BETA - Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements - CombatACE

That's some serious stealth something!!!!!! I'll just stay with runway denial the old fashioned way......

I was curious about this, so I tried it with a pair of F-15's over the Germany terrain. I was vectored to a flight of Mig-21's, and staying low, no radar, flying a parallel course to them, then slowing down to slide in behind them at 10 miles in trail before throttling up to close the range, they never so much as flinched. Maybe it has something to do with the poor rearward visibility, but I was able to get within 0.4 miles before opening fire.

I've been using it in different terrains & scenarios, and haven't found anything to say "this is an issue"; at least, not for me. And I never saw the black line that others saw. I saw it in their screenshots; just not on my screen. I'm looking forward to the full release. You KNOW I'm going to nuke something with it first chance I get!!!

In the "Bad Old Days" of the Cold War, attack pilots knew that in the face of Warsaw Pact defenses, even if they got to the target, chances of getting out again were slim. Especially with heavily defended hi-value targets on the tasking. PGM's were on the horizon, but not close.

i was just curious is all. As for what I see here, it's a top-flite model, and if you were to give it an anti-air capability, it would cause me (and a lot of other people) to rethink my Israel overflights in a Foxbat. (Or anywhere else it wound up) That's a lot of missile tubes!!

Question on this topic: Since the system supposedly does not work against ballistic and/or cruise missiles, what will it's in-game function be? I didn't see anything about it being an anti-aircraft system, although I believe it could be death on slower drones.
