  1. Yes, I've found the FM off all around. The roll rate seemed very excessive and the pitch response very poor. I've not seen any fixes.
  2. Turkeydriver, I respect your opinion and comments. I've been a supporter of TK and his sims since EAW. Either by modding, skinning and by purchasing. I, along with many here, went through the whole WalMart release fiasco and have stuck by him since. However, when he decided to not trust us to include his fan base as testers and bug finders and fired off his beta team, he opened himself up for criticism from the same people who could have helped him maintain the once high standards (and BTW have never been acknowledged by him as keeping this series alive). Instead, he now releases for sale, semi-broke games thatwhen patched, break as many things as fix. He's rejected the offers from many of us to help him for free. And when most of us have said that we'd gladly pay a higher price for his sims, he rejected that as well. So instead we get a $30 sim that will take several more patches to fix things that never should have made it out the door. This has become a disturbing trend for well over a year. I hold on to hope that things will get fixed by him. SF:NA has been a welcomed addition since it was announced. But the terrain/FPS issues and lack of terrain detail, plus the other bugs is a deal breaker. I may be the odd man out, but I stand by my thoughts.
  3. Another 12 hour + day, but half of that was flying. Win!!

  4. An amazing collection. Anytime I see these, I'll bookmark it and go through each page with a large cup of coffee and 1940's music on in the background. Nice and relaxing. Thanks! Jeff
  5. I know. Sadly, we're all paying to do it.
  6. Once again, the users have to fix something that a patch didn't. WTF??? I want SF:NA but am sick of the crap that TK is allowing to be released without proper testing.
  7. I too followed up with some of my references and confirmed the same. No chaff/flares
  8. That is the example of what I should read on any BSM. <S> to the memory of your Father and his service.
  9. SkateZilla is already re-doing the entire voice series for the Hawkeye.
  10. It's not consistent. I've got several tricycle geared jets that sit right. I've only seen the taildraggers dig in.
  11. The reason I'm so pi**ed off about this, is that I've seen people do a hell of a lot more in actual combat, and get nothing. I stick by my principal. And by the way, I'm also an active duty NCO who has been in combat, both on the ground and in the air and know this is BS!
  12. Congrats Sheila!
  13. Oh I'm sure she'll be step-promoted to E-7 also. With a BSM on her record, a female and in a support role, she's practically there already.
  14. It shows a definite lack of integrity then. I'm still at a loss over this. Sadly, I really think she believes all of the BS in the Airman's Creed about being a warrior, hence her not turning it down. I can justify the MSM, but NOT a Bronze Star.
  15. I was thinking the same thing after watching the RoKAF Demo video in another thread. They might be out of their price range though.
  16. First off, what the f***? I heard about this yesterday during the morning ops meeting. Needless to say, I'm sickened by this. Some female sitting in an A/C'd office was given this for "Gamez distinguished herself by meritorious achievement as the NCO in charge during a 365-day deployment, January 2011 to January 2012. While in Afghanistan, she accurately executed operational funds across eight remote bases, providing commanders with flexibility in support of counterinsurgency efforts. Gamez trained 68 operational fund teams, reviewed 34 projects and funded 280 joint acquisition board packages enabling critical base sustainment." This has gone viral over several military forums, with mostly the same reaction as I had. The AF has pulled the story from their official news site. I'm sure the negative press was the issue. I've got a guy I worked with up at McConnell, who in his previous job as a cop, got blown up in his Hum-Vee during at IED attack. Even though he suffered physical injuries, his Purple Heart was denied, as was his Combat Action Medal. This whole thing was summed up best on one of the replies: "It's all about who you know. Sucks but it works like this in the military and outside the military. Better get some knee pads. I got mine"
  17. Because it's not available here. It's over at Capun's site and you'll need download privileges from him.
  18. Pretty impressive. I like the multiple mid-flight formation changes. Looking at the T-50. At certain angles its like looking at an F-16 crossed with a Gripen.
  19. I acknowledged that in my first statement: "The Kahu was extremely capable for it's age, but too much time has elapsed. The airframes were left out in the weather, poorly protected. So..." Such blatant waste of valuable resources. Those aircraft could have been saved.
  20. Ban him!
  21. I got the "Coral Sea/CV-43" to work last night. Not prior to 1956 mind you, but the start date for the ship was 1947 to 1990. Mission date was 1980.
  22. The March 12 patch did this. It's been passed to TK and mentioned here numerous tims.
