  1. My first choice would be to put the money into activating the Skyhawks again. The Kahu was extremely capable for it's age, but too much time has elapsed. The airframes were left out in the weather, poorly protected. So... Purchase the soon-to-be-sold F-5s from Switzerland, as they get the Gripen. The F-5 gives you economy and a swing role fighter. Nothing cosmic. What about the first Tranche Typhoons? The RAF has already said they will purchase later Tranche jets instead of upgrading the earlier jets. Might be some bargains. The Luftwaffe are scrapping many of their Tornado IDS'. Another cheap option.
  2. More WIP: If someone knows how to limit which decals a squadron uses, please tell me. I've altered the numbers.lst for VA-27 to only include the 400 series Modex, but the 300 series is still the only ones that appear on the jet.
  3. Great camera work as always Ant. I miss seeing any type of fighter.
  4. The 747 (2nd aircraft) is lower and closer to you. The smaller aircraft (looks like a DC9/MD80) is higher and farther away. Nothing special.
  5. Sorry, but seeing all of these awesome looking ships really makes me think the Falklands Mod is going to really rock now. Great work!

  8. Disregard. I found Rugg's profile for the CH gear, so I'm trying it out.
  9. Using the in-game menu, I'm trying to add my CH Pro Rudder Pedals to the game, but it won't recognize the 3rd item. It only has 2 rows for the stick and throttle. How do I add a 3rd row for the pedals or get the game to "see" them? Thanks! Jeff

  11. Cangas, I'm assuming you are doing more of the Unified Protector mission versus Odyssey Dawn, since that only lasted 7 days. Your unit list will be much larger, since OpUP lasted so long.

  17. Campaign aside, did you get it to work in Single Mission? Your naval aircraft taking off from a CV? Is it required to have SF:NA installed? I've got my merged install up to March 12 patch level but the game does not recognize the terrain after the NAVALMAP=TRUE add. So I'm thinking it needs SF:NA. -Jeff

  19. Sid, Where do you put that text? In the [Terrain] section or [MAP]? I edited the map and added the line above, but the terrain then wouldn't show in the menu window. -Jeff
  20. Very nice. At first glance, I note the walkways on the upper fuselage. Excellent!
  21. It's been noted with the Mar 12 patch. If you've been here long enough, you'll notice each new patch has a tendency to break as much stuff as it adds.

  23. DA, I had to go back and re-read his post after reading yours. I got what he is wanting to do now. Again, without having the campaign ini in front me, couldn't we already do this by adding the MOVEBASECHANCE tag in the squadron line? I know it works for the shore based units. How many USN squadrons came back for a second go during Rolling Thunder, Lineback I & II, while the ship went home?
  24. Did they actually do that? I know they crossed decked at times if they had battle damage, low fuel or their primary ship wasnt able to accept arrivals at that time.
