  1. So does the SMS page stay updated realtime? So when you cook off an AIM-9, it disappears from the screen? Bombs, guns, etc? Awesome new look!
  2. Thanks for the tips. I'll work on my stuff tonight and post the results. -Jeff
  3. Title says it all. Due to the goofy layout of the tanks, I'm curious if a decal would work. Kevin??
  4. It worked great. Had it fit in about 5 mins.
  5. Another WIP from China Lake; Weapons System Test A-4E Thanks to Russo for the new antenna
  6. Thanks Russo. Exactly what I needed. You rock! -Jeff
  7. Is there a decent stock of antennas available for use via the fake pilot method? I need add one to the hump just aft of the canopy hinge. The same one that is on the A-4B. I'd use that, but the LOD is in lockdown. Any ideas? Here's a pic of a late model A-4E with the antennas, but the stock jets dont have them at all. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2a/A-4E_VA-164_1967.JPEG
  8. Yeah, but if your 02 levels are dropping, then it's a clue as to what is in the blood.
  9. Chatted with the F-22 driver who brough the jet into Dyess a couple of weekends ago. He showed me the O2 sensor he has to wear on his finger/arm in flight. Basically similiar to the one you get in the hospital that tracks the O2 levels in your blood. So, someone is watching this.
  10. While this is old news, with the on-going delays with the F-35 and F-22 issues, the age of our combat aircraft keeps coming up in the media. This really comes down to the DoD not standing firm enough with the budget committees and telling them the opposite of what they want to hear. We CANNOT keep up with the ops tempo with the current fleet of aircraft. Even the recently purchased C-17s are aging at an advanced rate, never thought of before. The C-models are trapped out and the Blue Angels had to give back their A-models and swap with C-models, because their F/A-18As had traps left on the airframes. The best solution right now is to purchase interim Super Hornets to fill the gap and ground the Charlies.
  11. Happy Birthday fellas!
  12. At the Dyess airshow this past weekend, we had a Mi-24 on static. I spent a bunch of time with the crew and took some time in each seat. Your model, while very nice in shape and detail, it slightly undersized. I'd estimate, about a 1/3 too small. I'll post up some pics later tonight. I've got a few with the crew, including the crew chief in the cargo door. -S
  13. Instead of asking TK to do it, you could do it in 5 minutes by editing one of your own mission within the game. As was said, the Range is perfect for that. The Nellis Range is even better.
  14. Beautiful photos. Switzerland is such an awesome location for shooting jets. Thanks for sharing! -Jeff
  15. At Dyess AFB for the weekend's airshow.

  16. Same issue with the AIM-9B. Shot 3 at a MiG-17. One failed to guide even with a solid tone, so I realligned to center and shot another. The second guided home, but didn't detonate. It flew past the tail and kept going. The third AIM-9 did the same as the second. Guided true, but didnt detonate. I used the gunpod and finished him off.
  17. I agree. Why they couldnt add a 2 player split screen option vs. everything online is beyond me. My son and I wanted to play against each other, but won't buy a sep PS3 to do so. EA used to be the name for quality games, but not anymore.
  18. It's in the SFII Wep pack. Listed as LAU10x3
  19. Having seen my share of UAE and Qatari M2Ks, I'm partial to those. Thanks for the work!
  20. This might be stretching, but can you simply add the red waterway to the map where the rivers are. They will be very narrow and you'd have to figure out how to only allow sampans. EDIT--actually by limting the VC to only having sampans, the problem should be nada.
  21. I don't know how functional you are going, but if you are looking for some detail parts to add, I've got these available: They are the sim panels from a F-16 egress trainer. I bought them back when I was going to rebuild my own pit. Never got around to it and they are just sitting on the shelf. 2 MFDs, 1 Up Front Unit, 1 CMDS panel, 2 artificial horizons, 1 engine nozzle posit gauge and 1 fuel gauge. PM if interested. -Jeff
  22. Yep, my mistake. Not GPS, but SATCOM. They call it the "Fez" because of the shape.
  23. Hawkeye 2000 GPS dome. Not supposed to be on the 1980's era E-2.
