  2. lol nooooooo !!! "2BR" is short for "Twin Bomb Rack, like "TER and MER for Triple and Multiple racks respectively. with that now superbig weaponpack there are several types of the same rack, and yes, theres also a tandem rack (which is for the Jaguar ) ... but.... the BRU57 rack is from the "2BR" rack type too.... so you have to add "2BR " to the hornet data ini (as I told you above), then use the BRU57 entry in the hornet loadout.ini as decribed by sundowner above. I use this BRU57 twin rack since it is in the pack, and never got any trouoble using it. note : since there are several twin bomb racks in the pack, its a good way to use the preset loadouts specified in the loadout.ini, if you decide to change the loadout manually then the game grabs the first twin bomb rack in line from the weapondata.ini, which could be (or is) another twin bomb rack and has the fitting attachment types/nation/export settings. you can make the BRU57 rack first in priority for the hornet by moving it up the line with the weapon editor, so the game engine will use it first. edit: just to clear up the rack stuff : to use bombs on an aircraft, the "AllowedWeaponClass=" line must have BOMB, TER, MER ,2BR entries. Thoose shorts (BOMB[for single bombs], TER, MER, 2BR) are hardcoded in the game engine (can be found in some of the .DLL's) and are used by the game to load the weapons. This are the RACK TYPES. you find it in the " RACK TYPE" section in the weapon editor. There's also a name for the rack, which is in the "RACK DATA" section. It's in the field under "TYPE" BRU57, TER, MER and 2BR are also TYPE names. (used in the loadout.ini ) thats why it's so confusing....sometimes...
  3. guys, you have to add " 2BR" to the hornets [LeftWingStationInboard] [RightWingStationInboard] [LeftWingStationOutboard] [RightWingStationOutboard] AllowedWeaponClass= lines . BRU57 is just the type name of the rack, but it is a type "2BR" rack in the weapondata.ini, not a TER or MER type.
  4. did you add "2BR" to the stations in the aircraft's data.ini ?
  5. open the weapondata.ini with the weaponeditor and make sure that on the BRU57 entry EXPORT, USN and UK are checked
  6. Check Six Download Site
  7. great :)

  9. Good looking skin :) Israel carries it's National Insignia in the "six position pattern" - both wings upper and underside. You might want to change the decal.ini accordingly.
  10. lock up the ground target with the "E" button then point your gunsight at it and let fly with the fancy hardware

  12. changing default loadouts : extract the A-6A_Loadout.ini from the WOV\Objects\ObjectData.cat archive put the extracted file into the A-6A folder open the A-6A_loadout.ini with an text editor, changing the stuff is easy...just take a look... i.e. a part from an F-4E Strike loadout : Loadout[01].WeaponType=MK82 <--Station number and Type of Weapon Loadout[01].Quantity=6 <--- self explaining.. Loadout[01].RackType=MER <--- type of rack if more than 1 weapon is carried on the station (TER/MER) Loadout[02].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[02].Quantity=6 Loadout[02].RackType=MER Loadout[03].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[03].Quantity=3 Loadout[03].RackType=TER Loadout[04].WeaponType=MK82 Loadout[04].Quantity=3 Loadout[04].RackType=TER Loadout[05].WeaponType=TANK600_F4 Loadout[05].Quantity=1 Chaff/Flare yeah...they work you can add them to any plane you want make sure that all players have the files - or you get connection troubles I know that for edited Aircraft_Data and Loadout.ini's it'Äs enough if the host has the files installed (put into the right folders) then all players who join the game get them transferred automatically, they are stored in the NetCache folder
  13. interesting video, thanks :)
  14. the problem with the drop tank's is this line : ItemNumber=x the game engine doesnt recongnize the individual tanks. I tested it. you can rem out the line (put a ; or // in front of it) and the needles will show the fuel of all droptanks at once TK is working on it.
  15. YoYo, take a look here : http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1891 ;)
  16. I have telled following another guy some weeks ago and it worked for him : install WOV out of the box, then start it and do a single mission. Then try to apply the patch 1. If it works, do another single mission. Repeat this sequence until all patches are installed. It's worth a try. Good Luck
  17. open the f-5e_data.ini and look for Ceiling=xxxxx remove the ,
  18. #2 : 57mm S-60 ?
  19. hmm...lets see.... M 163 Chapparel ZSU-57-2 Bofor 40mm L60 ? 20mm Flakvierling 38 ZPU-2 or ZU-23 ? ZPU-4 Are thoose pics from the Air Force Museum at Hatzerim/Beersheba ? I visited it back in 1999.....there was an T-55 with impact holes in the glacis plate and turret front parked somwhere ....
  20. it's Active Homing Missile Rack. I made a pic of an 10 AMRAAM armed FA-18....
  21. I think that 2BR = 2 Bomb Rack 2IR = 2 Infrared (Homing Missile) Rack 2AR = 2 Active (Homing Missile) Rack
  22. hmm...the only twin racks available in the weapon editor are Twin Bomb Twin IR Twin AHM I don't believe there's one for ARM's...
  23. USN used several in the '90 during the "No Fly Zone Enforcement" over Iraq. Missiles were used at the maximum of the envelope.....no hits. The Iranian kill rate with AIM-54A was excellent. They even got one triple kill of MiG-23's and (at least) two double kills. Nearly all kills were against fighter-type aircraft like Mirage F.1, MiG-21/ MiG-23, Su-22 and probably one Super Etendard. Several MiG-25 kills and Tu-16/ Tu-22 was the only "big game" stuff......
  24. I think the fixes on the stock MiG-21s are unnecessary. Look into the Osprey MiG-21 book and you will notice that most 21s had left the area around the canopy unpainted.
  25. Some instruments aren't working correctly. What I found so far is below, new values/entrys are in BOLD <-- = comment what got changed Back up the original .ini !
