Don't forget the static WW2 birds, and the helicopters (we could use some more Red Choppers, as all we got is the Mi-8) Is that a Caravelle & Comet I spy??
-
Me too. The aircraft were very well done! (even the CGI) The Mossi SOUNDED like a Mossi!
-
Yup, because, again, in SEA that space was used for fuel. Which it desperately needed on every mission
-
No. TK don't have one. It used for fuel storage. Nor does ArmorDave's Thuds. If you want a nuke, use the centerline external hardpoint

View File SF2 B-25J Mitchell "Night Intruder" Gunship (KAW What-If) SF2 B-25J Mitchell "Night Intruder" Gunship (KAW What-If) 4/19/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) ** Found in the Archives; as you can tell by the date above!!! ** This is a 'What If...' mod of Veltro2k's B-25J Gunship that might have been used during the Korean War. This goes on the presumption that the (A)B-26 Invader either was not available or present in enough numbers. The skin represents a reactivated 499th Bomb Squadron of the 345th Bomb Group. The aircraft is finished in overall night black (like the A-26 and later B-57s). This is the solid gun-nosed Mitchell, with the addition of a wing mounted AN/APS-4 radar unit (just like the USN's PBJs). 24 aircraft serials and Buzz Numbers are provided, as is the "Bat Out of Hell" nose markings. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Weapons (WW2 bombs & rockets), sounds, pilot figures are all provided. As is always reccommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! Good one Ant!! OTH, there are a number of mods for the EE Canberras and B-57s that have correct serials. Since it's originally AI only, is probably why TK used the F-100 serials, and no buzz numbers. Conversely, that doesn't explain the "proper-ish" bort numbers for the MiGs and SUs that are also AI only.

is the gun camera part of the gunsight? I'm wondering at the field of view as seen. If not part of the sight, why is the reticle showing? I know WW2 gun camera footage is usually just the target and bullet strikes

finally fixed something that's be bugging the crap out of me for 20 years .... proper serial decals* for the stock NMF B-57B, and an NMF skinned tip tank. Also replaced the idiotic 2-piece "U.S.Air Force" decal with a single one. Be available soon!!! (less than 2 weeks!!) (*=I mean seriously, HOW hard is it to make 24 correct serial and buzz number decals????)

While not exactly a "Humpday Heavy', I"m calling this one a "Mid-week Medium" 499th BS, 345th BG B-57B Canberra (all historic excepting the WW2 style nose art)

SF2 Chengdu J-7 Fishbed Series Pak by Mod Mafia/TMF (v.2)

Updated!!! 11/24/2023 See original announcement post above for minor changes Happy Landings!! -
Pretty much everything at this point ..... NONE of the aircraft in DLC28 are player flyable out of the box. NONE of the F-104 series are player flyable in SF2. (there were some kind of copyright issues with Lockheed -yes, that's right - so TK make them non usable. Hence the C-130A being missing from SF2 as well). The major reason they're not flyable, is they have no cockpits You might want to look here, in the Cold War F-104 skins section, and simply READ the announcement posts on my mods of the 104A and the 2 104Cs https://combatace.com/files/category/524-f-104/ In fact, you might want to go ahead and download them, and simply read the readme's expecially the "Notes" sections.

First off, that's a 1stGen pack. It was NOT built for SF2. If you're using them in SF2, they'll need to be converted. Make sure of what you're asking about. This is the SF2 Forum, not SF/WoV/WoE/WoI. 2ndly, with all issues with performance, you should always post your system specs so the (people smarter than me) and help diagnose the problem

I see you're trying to give me extra motivation to finish off the Taiwan Straits rebuild!!!

View File SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack 10/30/2023 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This is a new skin for the F-84G Thunderjet available here at CombatAce at the following url: https://combatace.com/files/file/12294-republic-f-84g-thunderjet-by-russouk-for-sf2/ This pack is 'representative' of F-84G Thunderjets used by the Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan). All markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. All serials are 100% historically accurate for T-Jets serving in the RoCAF. As is usual, those on the number list marked with a star (*) have their serial number matched to their "modex" or plane-in-squadron numbers. Any others, not marked, could not be matched to ID numbers, but ARE correct serials as seen on RoCAF T-Jets. This mod does not, however, replicate any specific or particular squadron. I was unable to run them down accurately enough. This is also the reason for not having any of the squadron color bands used on the nose/tail/wingtip tanks. You have a "basic" full squadron of 26 numbers. Also included are updated _data and _loadout inis, adding "Anti-Ship" mission tasking. As this will change USAF and other users missions, you may wish to back up the original data ini. Please also note, that the bombs used are the Stock 3W M64 500 pounders. If you wish to use the older ones, you'll need to edit the loadout ini. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! Stratos, if you could get Alex to fix some things on the lod, it would be a HUGE help. I'm out of meshes for the numbers and tail codes. The tail fin (vert tail) needs to be cut off from the rear fuselage (tail mesh) and have it's own mesh. As you can see, it's all one piece. Simply because the tail code, 4-digit bunum, full bunum and individual ID are all on the fin also, if he could give me right and left horizontal stab; they're all one piece now (not a big deal I can just make the full hit box across the stab, and tag it' RemoveWhenDestroyed=FALSE) there are also some untextured bits, mostly the landing gear legs, but that's not that important thanks bro! ps: if you can get the templates, that'd help too! I have to correct the gull grey to the right shade of gray! :)

I wonder if they're still using the original decals I made for it 'way back when in 1stGen SF. I remember them being 100% historical for VMF(N)-513. ----- everything else being said, I DO have what I believe is a beta version of angelp's Skyknight. It has 2 VMFN Marine skins (black) and the later gull grey/white. The GG/W needs decals and such. See below for screenshots. I'm not sure what exactly the state of the model is, the wings fold and the upper canopy 'hatch' opens. It needs FM work (even for a Gen1 Jet, it's very sluggish). I guess it'd be okay do some more work on it and release it as a "provisional Beta". The model itself, even as it stands put's that one to shame. Cockpit is a bit "iffy" (it's a heavily modded Mossie pit0, but it works
-
Nothing we can do here to fix it. We have very little to do with them. You'll have to take the issue up with them. There was another in the works, once upon a time, but the modler hasn't been around for a while. (2018)
