Very possible FC. Another good guess would be: daughter: "Is it time for snacks yet?" dad: "No, it's only halftime. Get some water and then go shoot around". daughter: face into hands... Dave, At that age, just keep it fun so they'll want to keep playing. Try to avoid thoughts of the WNBA until they're at least 10. If they want to play organized now, put them in a coed league. My daughter's first all girls team wasn't until she played on her 6th grade school team as a 5th grader. You could really tell which girls had played with boys before, and which had not.

I found these old pics, thought they where funny, and wanted to share. They're from 7 years ago, when my daughter was 5, and I was coaching her in basketball. I don't remember the specifics, but they where shot in sequence, starting with me giving her what I'm sure was some brillant piece of coaching. She still plays ball, so it must not have been that bad.

Yep. I didn't notice this until you posted it. Ships are only available in the pulldown list if the black crosshair is over water, and ground objects are only available when the black crosshair is over land. And water must be defined as Crusader says, because on my 3rd party maps (lacking the water.bmp), only ground objects are available regardless of where I place the black crosshair.

Dave, I have not had any issues putting a carrier down, and starting on it. I have not tried placing other ships in a mission. I've only tried on the Vietnam map, which is the only default map with carrier stations defined in the _targets.ini. However, I'm not placing the carrier at that particular location. I did the following steps: - Start a single mission with the F-4J, on the Vietnam map. - Add a new ground object, stock CVA-63 - Dragged the CVA-63 to location of choice, gave it a heading and velocity. Did not give it any waypoints. - Hit the checkmark, "Finish Editing This Group" - Edit the F-4J flight - Change the Home Base to the carrier ground object name "G001 if you didn't rename it". - When you change the home base, you should see the F-4J's route update to start from the carrier - Save the mission I've attached one I just created. Compare it to what your saving and see if you can see any difference. If not, call me and we can walk through one together. F-4J Phantom II Carrier Test3.rar

Was posted on our homepage today, just thought it was a cool story to help get you into the Christmas spirit... AF.mil by Airman 1st Class Anthony Jennings 36th Wing Public Affairs 12/1/2010 - ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam (AFNS) -- In this region of the Pacific, Santa Claus doesn't fly with 12 reindeer or climb down the chimney to deliver gifts; he drops them from hundreds of feet in the air from the back of a C-130 Hercules. Airmen plans to deliver 60 pallets of gifts to about 50 islands to help support Guam's neighbors during Operation Christmas Drop, a four-day airdrop mission which delivers donated supplies and gifts to those in need. Flights are scheduled to run from Dec. 13 to 17. "Many people around the world anxiously wait for December in order to celebrate Christmas," said Col. Tod Fingal, the 36th Wing vice commander. "However, for many men, women and children living across the Pacific, Christmas begins when they see the U.S. Air Force overhead. Many of the remote, Pacific islands have little to no contact with the outside world, and the islands' inhabitants depend on Operation Christmas Drop for much needed supplies." "It is truly inspiring to see Team Andersen's and the local community's level of generosity in donating much needed supplies to people they have never met," he continued. Operation Christmas Drop is organized by a nonprofit organization powered by volunteers from here and the local community that has dropped more than 800,000 pounds of goods throughout the islands since operation Christmas Drop's inception. This year marks the 58th anniversary of Operation Christmas Drop, making it the longest-running airdrop mission in the history of the Air Force. The Christmas tradition started in 1952 when WB-50 aircraft from the 54th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, formerly assigned to here, was flying a mission south of Guam. As the aircraft passed over one of the islands, the crew saw islanders waving to them. The crew gathered miscellaneous items from the plane, put the items in a container, attached it to a parachute and dropped the cargo as they circled around again. That small gesture of kindness, which started with just one box, has now grown into an island-wide effort to help make Christmas merry for those less fortunate. Air Force, the University of Guam, media, local government, business, professional and charitable organization members work together to collect cash and merchandise to deliver toys, clothing, fishing equipment, food items and tools to remote islands and atolls in the area.

SF2 and Force Feedback
JSF_Aggie replied to ravenclaw_007's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I'm using it with the all-in-one installer TK released last year. Did you try temporarily renaming your mod folder? That way you're running with clean install, at least just for a test. -
SF2 and Force Feedback
JSF_Aggie replied to ravenclaw_007's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Check the two links below, one might be the cause, the other regarding updating firmware. There are three files that I know of that effect force feedback: options.ini, FlightEngine.INI, FFB"something".INI (this one is called out in the FlightEngine.INI). If you're using an old FlightEngine.INI that's missing this, no FFB. http://combatace.com/topic/59150-problems-with-logitech-g940/page__p__443191__hl__g940__fromsearch__1#entry443191 http://combatace.com/topic/56016-anyone-use-a-g940-for-sf2/page__p__413758#entry413758 -

SF2 Series Range
JSF_Aggie replied to JSF_Aggie's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements
Unless you edit QF-100D_DATA.INI, it's only available between 1970-1990. For parked aircraft, increase OPTIONS->GRAPHICS->GROUND OBJECTS For airborn aircaft, increase SINGLE MISSION->CREATE MISSION->ENEMY AIR ACTIVITY -
Man, I'm getting so impatient. Looks awesome. Spectre_USA, not an ideal solution, but for ODS I decreased the mission range specified in the AV-8B's _data.ini, to keep them from being tasked with going all the way to Baghdad for example. Not a one-size-fits-all solution, but will work in certain situations. At least in SF1, the campaign engine looked at this value when assigning who went where. Sorry for the hijack.

I can do that Dave. I have .psd's from my original skins, plus Ant has hooked me up with SF2 templates. -
Help!
JSF_Aggie replied to craaig's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 1 Series - General Discussion
Did you read the README included in the ODS downloads? List each file you downloaded. Did you make a clean install of WOE? Did you patch WOE, and if so, what patch did you use? Describe how you installed ODS, list each step. There is not suppose to be any ODS icons automatically created for you. -

Microsoft sold all the source code of FSX and ESP to Lockheed Martin STS in Orlando, so I assume that means they are starting from scratch.
