Sorry Otto, but you confused me. Keep the file naming as FileName=F-16A\USAFHill\D\serial But the add a folder in the StrikeFighters2\Objects\ and call it Decals\F-16A\USAFHill\D\ ?

Hey all decal file structure change. 1. Make a DECALS folder in Object folder. (for Vista users, make it in the SAVED GAMES/THIRDWIRE/StrikeFighters2) 2. Add decals to the new folder. 3. Change decal.ini to this format: FilenameFormat=USAFL Notice it is no longer..... FilenameFormat=F-101B/15thFIS/D/USAFL Now decals will work. Also 3rd party sounds: 1. Just create a SOUNDS folder (for Vista users, make it in the SAVED GAMES/THIRDWIRE/StrikeFighters2) 2. Add sounds, you are set.

No offense taken Andy but this whole thing has been "Sunday morning quarterbacked" from the start. (From a non military stand point, you bring up good points but you have been there as well so your concerns are more valid) It just irritates me to no end. Its another case of the military being crucified without knowledge of the facts. No matter what the investigation reveals, in the public's eyes, it will still be the US military's fault.

Your specs mirror mine but I am running Vista. No problems here, and you shouldbe able to run almost full out too. I would roll back your vid card drivers and go from there.

You know what kills me? All the 2nd guessers....they did what they felt was right at the time. NO ONE can predict a DOUBLE engine failure. (or a single one for that matter). They did what they had to do and I am sure there was no negligence.

I usually fly for the US or Britain (and our allies but mostly US). I just natually choose the US basically because I am an American. I prefer to fly for my country. I would suspect that if I was German, I would do the same for them and so on and so forth. Make sense? At the end of the day it is a game.

Well so far with my wife being active duty Army and me being in the USAFR (and a GS8) it really hasn't affected us at all that much. Lower gas prices have been a benefit. We aren't selling a house, we got our mortgage through USAA so we won't fall into that housing crisis. We have been living on my wife's paycheck since I got off active duty and have been making it. Money was tight but now that I am fully employed again anything I make is extra. I guess the only secure job in the military.

Yes I am WP, my dad was at Hanscom when he was in. Lived there for 2 years. In fact one of our forum members here worked with my dad and is still a contractor at Hanscom.
