  1. False! I know the difference, sweden is the capital of Switzerland. Tricky question though, you almost got me, nice try. The person below me cried uncontrollably when Goose hit the canopy.

    Check This Out!

Honey... do you feel the boat shaking?
  3. Have you asked Mister Google? He knows alot! I already found this; Lockheed publicized that the XF -90 was the first US AF aircraft to fly with afterburners (in 1949)
  4. Any fellow Montrealers reading this? I just heard on the news, that on parade day, two CF-18's will be doing a fly-by down St-Catherine street. :yu:
  5. Sad.
  6. Eh, that's interesting. I knew about turning off acceleration if there was some sound issues, but I never thought that it might help with performance.
  7. Hey Bucky, just wanna say good job on this! I love the guns and especially Windloop, it actualy sounds like I'm in an open cockpit now and the wind is blowing in my face.

    Cracked me up

  9. Wuh really? Talk about optical illusions, let me check it out again.
  10. V-tail on an F-15? Sacrilege!
  11. Hey, I got a wee bit Irish blood in me too! Happy St. Patricks Day everybody, don't drink and fly. :drinks_drunk:
  12. Geeshh, thanks alot guys! This never bothered me untill you brought it up. A slumped over pilot would definitely add to the immersion factor.
  13. Eh have you tried DosBox? They say Strike Commander is supported (unless it's not the same game). http://www.dosbox.com/comp_list.php?letter=S
  14. Woa, looks good!
  15. So that's where I tell the gas attendant to fill'er up! Thanks Bucky
  16. Oh man, I'm starting to fall in love with the Spad, very enjoyable to fly! Can somebody tell me what I'm looking at exactly? Some instruments I have a pretty good idea, but I'd like to make sure. Others I have no idea. Thanks. 1. Compass 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Not an instrument, but I'm curious what purpose it had 9.
  17. You'll find TW sims are very modifiable, that's one of the major bonuses going for it. There's a folder for everything. Aircraft, sounds, ground objects ect... edit: oh and just tell your wife the truth; that you're pulling hard on the stick.
  18. Ahh 2004 ...good times.
  19. Strange, usualy the subsim guys have a good head on their shoulders. Why are they complaining?
  20. I seem to remember one modder who wrote his name on the tires.
  21. You're going to enjoy that book. Not the easiest read (lots of dates, notes, numbers, references etc...) but I heard it was the book on The Man.
  22. Nice! That's what I wanted to be sure about.
  23. Might as well also mention the one I'm reading now, The canvas Flacons by Stephen Longstreet. If you're into WWI aviation stories.
  24. Is that the 'The world would be a safer place if everybody owned a gun' argument? If it is then I respectfully and strongly disagree.
  25. Yes an improvement, but would this be considered a 'cheat'? Did the real life Camel had poor rudder response?
