  1. Male sharks have....errrrrr...TWO penises!
  2. But relative to its size, the lowly barnacle has the largest penis in the entire animal kingdom.....or so says Hugh Laurie, as Dr. Greg House
  3. I'm starting a new thread, one that everyone's welcome to contribute to. Here goes my first contribution... Fact: Las Vegas, Nevada, is the only major city in North America that's "defended" by an S-300 (SA-10) SAM battery
  4. Happy Birthday, Ant...
  5. I predict vicious airstrikes against the pirate's stronghold, by unmarked aircraft of indeterminate nationality. Harriers and F-18s supported by Su-33s....lol
  6. Stutters/Micro-pauses in any game or sim are usually caused by another application that's running in the background, and sapping processor cycles needed by the game.
  7. I beg to differ. The "Tonkin Gulf Incident" is a single mission, and it's certainly anti-ship. I also uploaded a misson, "The Higbee Incident", where the player flies a VPAF MiG-17F in an anti-ship mission against an American DD (the USS Higbee). I've also seen screenies of sampan-busting missions, in YAP.

    The Man Cave...

Very nice, FC. But every man eventually needs a place to relax, and in that vein.... and
  9. Here's the "pristine" bullet, properly known as CE399 (Commission Evidence 399) seen from the butt end. I certainly would not call it pristine, though I'm sure that the great forensics and ballistics expert, Oliver Stone, would beg to differ.

    The Man Cave...

Well, this is sort of my man cave. Consider it a mobile cave with a view. The lower "pit" (yes, it's referred to as the cockpit): The helm station (my "flight" deck): And, my personal "cave" . There's a 23" LCD and DVD player, which you can almost see reflected in the mirror to the right.
  11. The magic bullet was far from pristine, as it was actually deformed in slightly banana-like shape. How interesting that it's almost always photographed while oriented on it's undeformed axis. Similar rounds fired into ballistic gels and animal tissue with the same approximate density as (both) a human thorax and wrist have also emerged sporting similar deformations.
  12. In the world of TW data.ini files, the first "5.0" value (as you wrote it) would translate to five meters offset to the right, the second would be five meters offset forward, though you got the last one right; a positive figure there would mean 5 meters above the centerline -5.0,-5.0,5.0 is what you meant, Russ
  13. Two, and possibly three attempts were made. Read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Unite...nation_attempts
  14. Well, a lone wacko nut-job managed to get close enough to point a loaded .45 at Gerald Ford, and another managed to shoot Reagan, and yet another managed to bring an SKS literally to the entrance of the White House, and got off 29 rounds at a group of men, one of whom the nut-job thought was Clinton. Yet, there's no conspiracy theories surrounding those three acts.
  15. Increasing damper values on any axis (in an FM's flight control section) directly effects the player's FM, by limiting control surface deflection angle, and deflection rate. That would explain why some models may tend to feel less twitchy with increased values. However, you must realize that you may be compromising that FM's performance somewhere else along the curve.
  16. The aforementioned (mission radius), or limiting the aircraft's fuel load, are the only two methods that come to mind.
  17. [TargetArea335] Name=Echo Station Position=106980,829161 Radius=5657 ActiveYear=0 Location=13 Alignment=FRIENDLY CarrierStation=TRUE
  18. I have a bundled package that includes 15 mb/s cable internet, VOIP phone, and basic cable TV service, for less than $100 US monthly, from my local provider.
  19. Mazal tov!
  20. Re-read my first post, and you'll understand why it won't work that way.
  21. There's an old saying that I often find myself repeating to recreational boaters who ask my advice in equipping a boat for offshore fishing or cruising. And that is: "If given even the slightest opportunity, the sea will always do its damnedest to kill you. Out there, halfassed all but guarantees full-dead "
  22. Who's the unseen guy with the white cat in the first two or three Bond movies? Who's the bald guy with what appears to be the same white cat (but this time, in a wheelchair), that Bond drops down a factory chimney at the beginning of "For Your Eyes Only"? Who's grave was it, that Bond visited at the beginning of the same film? Wait, could there be a storyline here? One that a newcomer to the series may have not picked up, unless they've seen the first seven or so Bond flicks, beforehand?
