So long fellas
hgbn replied to ST0RM's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
The last couple of weeks I have had a blast playing instead of modding. I fired up the game for the first time in over a half year Made a totally fresh install patched it up to the latest level ( which was May12) added the extra mods and go fly. Like Dave said its all about having fun gaming. And it is. -

Camper Only thought this was a tactic used in FPS games in multiplay -
Even though I'm half a world away it hurt to see all those homes ablaze. I really hope you guys get plenty of aid now and when the whole area is going to be rebuild.

Hope you'll post some shots of your work. Is the new tool kit okay?? I have a butt load of decals for Argentine A-4's Was planning to see if I could collect enough Fujimi's A-4's for those. But you don't find many in swap meets if any at all.

One think its hard for me to understand is. How otherwise freedom loving people are talking in favor of a Mideastern despot who doesn't care a living s**t about his own people and only have one goal in life. To remain in power regardless of how many of his own people he need to sacrifice in the process -
I agree Przemek. At any given time there is approx 57.000 people living in entire Greenland. There are probably more polar bears than people And thanks

Aurora Borealis The sky on speed. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera with me. So these were taken with my cell phone. Hence the poor quality. But even if I had a proper camera it wouldn't had done the pure awesomeness of the phenomena justice. I can only recommend anyone to visit Greenland at least once in their lifetime. Its pure meditation for the soul and where else can you enjoy a Whiskey on the rocks with ice thousands year old

Sorry for the lesser quality in these shots. They were taken through the window of the S-61N on our return flight from Naval station Grønnedal to Narssarssuaq airport. Over the inland ice cap.

OOOOhhhh Man Terrible. Hope anyone is okay. Fires this size gone wild can cost a lot of casualties

Distance cheats a lot in Greenland. What looks to be a mountain just across the Fjord is actually a mountain 20 km away These wild Musk Ox's were everywhere at Naval station Grønnedal. Even inside the camp itself. You had to be careful taking a corner at a building. You never knew if there was one standing at the other side. We were told if we caught one by surprise and it snort. Freeze until it moved. IF it started scraping in the dirt. Run for your life. Man I miss this place. If it wasn't because I have wife and children I would move and stay there for ever. If I had to describe Greenland with one word only. It would be SILENCE
