I noticed the same thing in WoE, compared to WoI, where the readings are just fine. I reckon it will have to wait until a WoE patch comes out to bring it to WoI standards. No reason to re-program with the newer standard already complied with, ya know?

Black screen, MS error report? I realize that English is probably not your native language, but the more help you give us, the more we can help.

Hold over from WoV. Them graphics dudes can get awfully pricey, ya know? As to the refly button, it is my friend! The only way I would have gotten through my 1st 3 campaigns. Especially the A-10 one I whipped up. Be very selective of missions, deep strikes east or west of the Bekaa valley are to be avoided...

Err, well, just hypothetically speaking, What would happen if you were to, say, change the years on a jet? Leaches, locusts, plague? I have a friend, yeah, that's it, a friend, who may have changed a few for campaign compatibility or summat...

That is one thing I played around with, early on, that is mercenary campaigns. I thought it gave a certain Strike Commander, an old DOS game, feel to it. Not to mention the ability to mix aircraft in a flight. I do wish the premise hadn't been abandoned, and would love to see some exploration of the inner workings, maybe to a point of re-incorporation.

Made a quick 1st run, defensive patrol, and was pleasantly stunned! Looked nice, slightly better frames, and then ran into the enemy. Sicced my wingies on `em, and ended up bagging one, just as another killed my engine. Wow! Was over an Allied airbase, glided in and landed, then went to watch the show. Wingies had already torn up the other two, leaving one. Watched them work him, the lead guy peppered a few in, and peeled off. The guy behind did not open fire until the other Camel was clear, then pounded away. Final score? I got one, as did 2, and 3 got a pair to himself! I like it! And my briefing map did not show the big black blech in the middle anymore for my 8800 GTS card...

Lemme see if I got this straight. Fresh install of WoI. Install Raptor and Typhoon, fire it up and blast some Arab scum from the skies! Install patch, watch it crash to desktop, then come here and b1tch about it? Gotcha!

I think it is in reference to whatever "main" ini there is for an object. To use your example, FROG-3.INI, as opposed to the FROG-3_DATA.INI. The Main, not the data, does that make sense?

I think there is an add-on pack that has Kayushkas, and a more recent MRLS one. I ain't looking for it, so I will leave you to hit the search button. Up there, on the right...

Speaking of waypoints, range and bearing, I notice the mid MFD has the values reversed. At least the labeling. The Artificial Horizon in the upper right shows the same numbers, same order, but unlabeled. Not even a biggie at all, just thought I'd mention it. I was going to rummage through the avionics.ini, but have been known to do BAD THINGS when I try...

You are so close. Open the weapondata.ini, which is where you should have pasted the line from the readme.txt. If you numbered it correctly, you last entry should be Typhoon tanks. Save the file, it will compile, and you'll then have tanks in WoE.

I like the sounds of this, as I've cobbled in the odd more modern aircraft to a campaign. Would love to see the Raptor there as well as the freshly released Typhoon. Impressive list which looks like it will be a hoot and a half. Looking forward to you class project PFunk...

And that was a tough record to beat. Still lovin' the Raptor, as it has a nostalgia effect from the early combats sim days, along with this beauty. Great job on both these excellent jets, gentlemen! It's hard to believe it has been close to 15 years since we first saw these aircraft in a sim, and they are finally done well!

The F-16XL is out and about, but I've not seen the ol' cranked arrow mentioned. Sounds like a cool exotic, hope it turns out...

Make sure you give the, plenty of time from IP to release. Depending on altitude, I would reccomend at least 20 miles...
