  1. Kitchen missiles? We're all gonna die...
  2. Cool site, and it looks, from the glance I gave it, to be right. I was unaware the F-111G lived in Australia. Thought all they had were their C's. Too cool...
  3. In real life it was the "F" model. Strongest engines, pave tack pod, updated avionics, comparatively. I believe this is also the case in the pack, and there were experimental ones being tested by the 431st TES, not TFS, as included. There were "G" models that were FB-111's with "D" models wings, and an "A" model with 90's style MFDS. Did I go overboard? I used to wrench the grey "WA" ones, so can get carried away...
  4. Ooops! Was viewing this album, and went to upload this image, which I assumed would go to my area, but it did not. So sorry...

  9. As an ex-Aardvark armorer, I applaud this effort! I would have hated to crawl on that critter in the middle of a California or Nevada summer day, but loved to have flown it! As to clicking on the pic to enlarge, why does it want to download an IPB file? ___EDIT___ PSP 7 seems to like IPB files as images just fine! Funny that I'd never heard of that extension before. As to the skin, it is fantastic!
  10. Oh heck yeah! I've just gotten back into this, and, quite frankly, the stock interface sucks rocks. Thanks muchly, Mr. Kout, sir!
  11. And that is where it gets tricky. It usually extracts to the root, and may have no effect as they each need to be in the correct folder. iam73 was working on a little more comprehensive version, but haven't hear from him in a bit...
  12. CAB files will not install on their own. If there is an MSI, right click and choose install. To check your version, click on start, run, and type in DXDiag. It will tell you all kinds of useful information about your system...
  13. I have switched to air threats whilst I had a Maverick selected, and saw them pictured, but never thought to take the shot! Probably a better hit percentage than the A-A missiles at this time...
  14. I also dislike having to worry about a wingman/men. Those 12 and 16 shippers usually mean a whole lot of micromanagement, which is the last thing you want while ingressing a target area, and you have mission overload as it is. Sure, being a master of your own destiny on hard settings, and having a palpable impact on the overall situation is great, but when the enemy has so much more autonomy, and your 16 shipper returns as a pair, there is something not quite right. A simple "f*** `em up" command to the squadron as you laze about out of harm's way would be a beautiful thing in my book...
  15. You forgot to paste in your INI edit there Sundowner...
  16. Will have to re-read all 3. Met the man and got a signed copy of Warbirds. A quick Google reveals that he actually published 11 books! Time to hit Amazon...
  17. Holy flappin' snappers! I just found my favorite fighter-bomber. I usually take my 1st runs on the range, but muggered that all up trying to upgrade it, so I hit WoI. 8 shipper, 4 as escort in sandy Baz's versus Egyptian airfield. 3 & 4 neutralized the AAA, 2 took out the runway. No trade for the Baz's, so sent `em home and went solo on a `strip I saw close to the coast with MiG's parked under nets, 1st time for that. Used Mavericks to toast the ZSU's, and made a run; 4 of the 6 snake-eyes found their mark and popped the Egyptian MiG-21's in their bermed pens. Another pair of runs with 3 each only yielded one more, but that 1st one was one of the coolest I've experienced in the many flight hours of this series. Many thanks to USAFMTL, and all the contributors to this beautiful beast!

  19. Hey! This was locked before, I am glad it is now open, as I wanted to say; A-10's over Abrams? Mighty coo-oo-ool...
  20. Must be loaded with liquid lead, as that nose wheel looks a little mired...
  21. Wow, incredible pictorial up over there. Looks like a well crafted mission, looking forward to it...
  22. I tend to agree. Been lovin' the Kout Mainscreen since it came out, this looks a worthy addition to the WoI series.
  23. Also, it is fairly evident from what he typed as to where he got the info, himself, and other U2 pilots that lived it with him...
  24. I had the same issue with A-10's in WoI, but from the opposite perspective, too high! The SAM's are ferocious in Syria, and here's my wingie diddy-boppin' at 10,000'! >Pop< goes the warthog! As to altitudes, I think they are adjustable by skill under AI somewhere. But, be aware, it applies to ALL AI, as in enemy too. Wish there was a separate area for friendly and enemy to adjust to taste. Anyway, the specific file eludes me at the moment, as I am not home where my SFP1E files are. I have to put them on my work laptop, as I have WoI here. Let me rummage, if no one gets back to you, maybe I will have found it.
