  1. Woah, this is one hot piece of work thx guys
  2. Nope we will all die if you get the Mirage :D
  3. Well I can't leave MigHound in belief there's no beta we all got lol It's here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showt...=34697&st=0
  4. Regardless of terrain size defaults are always 2000m for texture tile resolution and 500m for heightfield resolution...
  5. So you further optimized the terrain shader...that sure sounds interesting. I did some experiments also, went up to 2048 resolution for noisenormal.bmp but didn't quite get what I wanted, your noisenormal still looked better at 1024... Anyway I'm looking forward to see the new stuff...
  6. I know, I know :D
  7. Well some if not most people have no tehnical issues whatsoever :whistle2: Wonder who might it be that is doing something wrong, but fails to attribute that to himself, but rather blaim it on TK, Blair witch, magic and wonder world etc... NOTE: this is not adressed to the topic starter, I have no expirience running anything on Vista and therefore can not comment on any issues specific for running WoX on Vista OS.
  8. Not true, I'm making a completely new one ;-)
  9. That water outline looks like F'ed up alpha channel to me... @zmatt check around the forum a bit, that flickering has to be in the top 5(if not #1) complaints after sep/oct 08 patch
  10. I tested 2.5 version a lot, everything is pretty much OK, but there's a lot of double, even triple entries...
  11. Look for "shadow" instead of "shader" in the options...
  12. Funny thing is the original was damaged and had some patches and holes, that too was on Tu-4
  13. Tried the Me109E3(BTW great work russo!) and SpitMk1 yesterday, they didn't do bad at all. Actually they flew very believable
  14. Well I don't have it anymore, but inspite of my babling I will sure re-consider buying it ;)
  15. OK so I tried it, I'm sorry to say it's another LOMHS - Lock On Modern Hardware Slideshow. However it's very detailed and if one is really a helicopter freak then maybe spending an average annual income of average African country for hardware that will enable one to play it smoothly(if that is even possible) may be worth it...
  16. When I did my rivers(which I apsolutely, positively hate to do) I draw them by hand. You can export the height map as *.BMP and then edit it in image editor
  17. Hmm I don't remember this happening on EF2000 since Sep patches, playing on Hard FM...
  18. Naaah, just try a clean install, then first install all germany terrain mods, then add other stuff and see if maybe something else causes this...
  19. That's some strange stuff going on there, first my trees went berserk, there is also some strange effect on the water too. Anyway here is mine germanyce_data.ini just note that mine is set up to use the tree mod. I hope this can fix problems for you and other users :)
  20. Hmmm yeah, the difference is huge. My first thought was resolution but since you say they are the same... I'll try to make similar comparision myself and see what happens...
  21. Well there I am finsihing tiles for BoB terrain so I start making transition textures, One down, looks rather nice doesn't it :) Well but watch what happens when you connect 4 of them together: Could not believe that, and it even had to happen on not just any terrain but BoB terrain lol, can't even imagine how much flak would I recieve for that lol For Mossad members - ofcourse I will not release it like that lol
  22. Well I suspect on several things but can you post a screenshot or a link to one so we can see what exactly do you mean?
  23. Yeah, that's because of tile system usage, however in-game we have that haze at high altitude that does not allow you to see it as clearly as in TE so thing look much better.
  24. I have an ATI card and everything works fine, post the GermanyCE_data.ini here or send me a PM so I can take a look at it.
