Reminds me on "Able Archer 1983". The NATO played their usual autumn exercise and the USSR believed it would be the beginning of WW3. The soviet troops went in high alert, the nukes were made war ready. The bombers at the soviet airfields in the GDR (east Germany) stood in their shelters, armed with nuclear weapons and running engines. And all were waiting on the first wrong move of the NATO, which had absolutly no idea that the russian bear felt threaten and was awaiting the beginning of the next world war. In 1983 the world was only millimeters away from the dooms day.

If working with TE to flatten the places where you want to lay the tracks you should not use to big numbers for width and height. 2km x 2km should be enough. So i made it when i created the trainstations for DRV terrain or BoB terrain.

Nice to see that this big birds will have a future. I very often can see the ukrainian couterpart, the AN-124, in the air, sometimes the A-380 and in one or two cases the AN-225. I love this really big birds!!!!

There is a F-84G available at download section. With a little bit modding you could make your own F-84E. Both planes looked very similar

Hat geklappt. Ich habe mir zwar durch das viele ausprobieren ein paar meiner Mods versehentlich gelöscht, aber das läßt sich reparieren. Ansonsten läuft SF2 Israel nun ein wenig schneller und auf meiner C Festplatte ist nun wieder ein wenig mehr Platz. Danke nochmals für den Tipp!

yoto, it was a simple unzip of the DR.1 package into the aircraft folder of WOE. Only the pilot was the stock modern guy.

Irgendwie stelle ich mich zu doof an. Ich habe die Dateien von C:\Eigene Dateien/Thirdwire/StrikeFighters 2 Israel nach E:\Eigene Dateien/Thirdwire/StrikeFighters 2 Israel verschoben. Die options.ini habe ich in den Strike Fighters 2 Israel Ordner geschoben und die Pfade in der options.ini geändert. Hat das Spiel aber nicht gewollt. Stattdessen hat es mir an der alten Stelle einen neuen Ordner Eigene Dateien/Thirdwire/StrikeFighters 2 Israel angelegt und greift immer auf diesen zu und ignoriert meinen neuen mod Ordner.

Ich habe ein Problem mit SF2 Israel. Mein Computer ist schon ein wenig älter und auch ein wenig Flickwerk. Ich habe 2 Festplatten. Die kleinere ist bei mir C:, die größere ist E:. Die kleinere ist ziemlich voll, so daß ich alle Spiele auf E: installiere. Als ich nun SF2 Israel installiert habe, ist ein großer Teil der Installation auf C: gelandet und zwar unter dem Pfad: Eigene Dateien/Thirdwire/StrikeFighters 2 Israel. Leider verstopft mir die Installation an dieser Stelle die sowieso schon volle C: Festplatte. Ich habe versucht die Dateien von C: auf E: zu schaufeln, aber das hat mir das Spiel übelgenommen. Hat jemand von euch eine Idee wie ich den Kram von C: auf E: bekomme?

The MiG-21FL is part of SF2 Israel, not of WOX or SFP1. The downloadable mods for SFP1 using the MiG-21PF lod which is included in WOV, WOE and WOI.

The Catalinas were to slow and, if i remember right, were unable to defend themself against a modern fighter. They would have been an easy prey for the Zeros and Hayabusas. The B-25 on a carrier was a crazy idea, but a good one.

Das Buchprojekt mit dem ich mich seit etwa einem Jahr beschäftigt habe hat seinen erfolgreichen Abschluß gefunden. War zeitaufwändig, hat aber auch viel Spaß gemacht, zumal mir der eine oder andere Pilot einen tieferen Einblick in die Welt der MiG's und Suchois verschaft hat, den ich so nie erhalten hätte. Und das beste vom Ganzen: Endlich habe ich wieder mehr Zeit mich dem Modden zu widmen!

The MiG-21SPS (isdeliye 94) had no ability to carry the GP-9 gunpod. The SPS-K (isdeliye 94K) was the one who could carry the GP-9, but was mostly flown without this pod. The only difference between the two versions was a bolt for holding the gunpod.

Kleiner Trick für Bombenangriffe ohne CCIP. Beim Anflug auf das Ziel etwa 6 bis 8km for dem Ziel mit max Schub auf etwa 1km Höhe steigen, auf der Rücken rollen, Ziel anvisieren, auf den Bauch rollen und in etwa 30 bis 40° Neigungswinkel herabstoßen. Zielzeichen auf das Ziel bringen und in etwa 1 km Enfernung Bomben im Reihenwurf auslösen. Danach steil wegzeihen um der Flak zu entgehen. Wenigstens eine von 4 Bomben sollte treffen.

Working with Weapons Editor is a little bit tricky. When you have changed the entries, make sure to click on SAVE, then click on CLOSE. If you dont click on Close the changes were not accepted by the game.

Vor ein paar Monaten hat sich das A380 Flugprogramm auf dem Flughafen Leipzig Halle herumgetrieben. Immer schön Runden drehen, starten und landen. Das sächsische Kabinett samt Ministerpräsident hatte sich einmal angesagt und hat eine solche Übungstour mitgeflogen. Bei touch and go sollen da einige Nasen mehr als blass geworden sein. Auf alle Fälle war es ein cooler Anblick die dicke A380 in aller Seelenruhe herumfliegen zu sehen. Am besten war es dann, wenn sich die dicken Tanten A380 und AN-124 am Himmel trafen. Das war ein echtes Elefantenschaulaufen!
