  1. Hi, My cockpit in the B-66B doesn't look right. Almost like it's a clipping issue for the pillars. Any idea how to fix?
  2. This worked perfectly. Went from an old lady to a 50 year old cougar with the libido of a bunny in the spring. Thanks!
  3. Have an old paperback that said the F4F4 had a better roll rate than the Zero. Climb rate was pathetic (fact too). However when the FM-2 came out, it's reduced weight and power contributed to improvements in both, although no exact measurement was provided. May have been more subject from the POV of the author, but I would assume a 10% improvement (more Conservative side.)
  4. I have an FM-2 Wildcat that seems to rollover slower than a 90 year old out of bed for her daily medicine. How do I bump it up slightly? Thanks!
  5. I remember Janes Fighters Anthology! I had a copy of US Navy Fighters before it became merged with ATF and NATO Fighters. Didn't play it a lot since I was in HS at the time. I do remember they graded you on carrier landings in there.
  6. We have quite a bit of users of the SFx series. There are other sims out like DCS, but I find SF2 a lot easier to mod and create campaigns with. Before this, I was a very old school sim addict, addicted to the Microprose sims from back in the 486 days. SF1 came out and it brought me back into flight sims in 2009. I took a break for 11 years to start a family. Realizing how much stuff is out there for SF2, it brought me back in. One of my kids has additional needs, and discovered became a fan of flight sims. It was a great way to bond and teach him about flying. Using SF2 WoV as his first experience, he was enthusiastic popping off Sparrows from an F-4D. We modded further and now he's running buzz saws of 20mm from French Corsairs in the Madagascar terrain. Guess it's his new favorite aircraft. We converted a Lenovo laptop as a dedicated SF2 gamer, and he has begun modding with me. For those times we travel, he can sit all day at the airport terminal watching commercial aircraft depart and arrive .. Anyway that is my story. What brought everyone else here?
  7. Got it working in Persian Gulf! Perfect spot to use Harriers. Thanks!
  8. Thank you Eric for the quick response! I will have to figure out how to add ships to maps. Still new at this after all these years... And, I definitely don't have the mission editor.
  9. In 'N' Out burgers on Hawaii terrains needed LOL
  10. Hi, I'm building out my SF2 more now and am looking for terrains where the USMC can have carriers as starting points. I have LHAs and LHDs in my ground objects folder. However, when I use an AV-8B harrier on naval maps, there are no USMC carriers to spawn on. Any recommendations for terrains that have USMC carriers? Thanks!
  11. Bumping up lock on, accuracy and reliability to 99 looks like it helped for the STARMs. I left the Shrikes alone since one of them actually hit an SA-3 that fired a salvo at me.... ...then a MIG-19 stuffed me full of 30mm while I was gazing at my successful launch.
  12. I noticed using the AGM-45 Shrike and AGM-78 Standard series ARMs are a bit of an enigma in SF2. I remember in SF1, I could pop off a standard without getting spiked, and it would hit any radar in front of it. I removed the loft on the STARMs because they were going for a moonshot. Now they only hit radars 10% of the time. I've adjusted FOVs, Gimble and track rates all to 40. Seem to have helped a little bit, but not much. What's the deal with the ARMs in SF2?
  13. I just flew a strike mission that had a foodstand as a target in Korea. Either they have some spicy s***t, or a 1-star rating on yelp.
  14. A Facebook group? Doesn't look like any posts are recent..
