  1. UPDATE: got it figured out, after observing the bomb positions on the HSAB were jacked up, and reduced the amount of weapon stations in use. So I'm proceeding with adding the MERs and AGM28 pylons @Geary: thank you for the response, but as noted i got the specific issue (reducing number of weapon stations used) resolved. HOWEVER..... working alot of old SAC units between tankers and BUFFs. if you have anything such going on, lemme know and i'll hook you up with some wing decals for the noses. not personally as interested in the older NM era, but still irked on the two SAC badges on every skin (and of course able to do a little bit about it
  2. so, Im trying to get multilple loadout options up on the B-52G. currently it features the HSAB pylon built into the model, which holds 9 bombs each (and hold the CALCMs in game with different attachment coordinates). I am maxed out on 32 station IDs getting the front batch of CALCMs seperate from the back batch (Senior Suprise mission a/c only carried 39 weapons across 7 a/c) what i am trying to do is incorporate gbreuders loadouts featuring external MERs (4 stations needed to open up) as well as a "gunpod" or "fuel tank" pylon to add in the AGM-28 pylons (2 more station IDs needed to be opened up) can the external stations be grouped similar to how the bomb bay stations are grouped? and how would i get around the different attachment angles? here is the B-52G_89 data.ini that I am trying to adjust B-52G_89_DATA - Copy.7z
  3. I would call bull. A similar debate is on using the .50 cal on troops. and old joke is that your aiming at the web gear or canteens not the enemy soldier. in reality, US troops are generally taught to use escalating force. you start with a rifle round not a MOAB. BUT... if your a gunner on a 50 cal and its what you have handy, then you dont downgrade to a rifle, you engage. in the case of the Marine pilot, he may have nearly caused a blue on blue incident, or exceeded minimums while engaging (flew too low for example). as to the use against the enemy infantry: what difference if they are killed by 20mm (the lesser use of force in this case) or 500 lbs of high explosive and shrapnel? final bit: the term OPFOR as spelled out typically means own forces playing the part of enemy for training exercises. actual enemy is referred to as the enemy (or haji, goat f***ers or other derogatory term of the day). if the pilot engaged the OPFOR as traditionally used, no amount of justification would save that pilot at the court martial!
  4. 7 engine bomber............. (Doom 34, which had an engine lose oil pressure on takeoff from Barksdale. the crew didnt report it to the mission commander until past the halfway point enroute to Iraq)
  5. ya'll quit yer bitchin, unless your old enough to remember both the ham omelette meal AND the fact that they used to come with heaters packaged separately (truly traumatic if you experience the omelette minus the heater) beef stew on the other hand is rather good. at least tolerable if eaten cold.
  6. very nice meanwhile in Louisiana........
  7. first guess is high poly models. number of aircraft is another possibility as both screenshots seem to be WW2 based, and i will guess you have large formations going. could you list some of the aircraft (other than B-17 in the second pic)
  8. well of course you would say its your house. the better to throw us off the trail of EVILGODDAMCOMMBUILDING mk 3........
  9. "This is a fascinating little gadget. It'll replace CDs soon. Guess I'll have to buy the 'White Album' again. "
  10. more fun with stickers (and 133 decal.ini entries)
  11. Alt-D twice will give you a clear screen in game. Alt-P if you wanna pause and get different views of hte action mandatory screenie, from the archives today
  12. its why i dont actually want mue to make tga visible in the lod viewer..... i get reminded now and again that you can go flying with this thing too!
  13. ravenclaw, only the Scooter (ok and maybe the Super Tweet) can make a 250lb bomb look big Crusader against Evil........ all the same skin too...............
  14. Same skin, 90% done on camo
  15. own two cents on YAP in general: they have you paying for what is very little original to them content. was gifted some items for tech reference on my own project and i was shocked at the difference between this community's freeware and their payware not in a good way on their end. but, they do have several things that are missing here in house. caveat emptor
  16. i'd ask if your plate isnt a little full already, but you have the tray filled with everything from the buffet!
  17. oh. so ya gots to beg for it or pay for it. thats just great.
  18. back to the exact of SF2 and Win10, i participated (loosely) in the trial bit before it released. SF2 was up and down depending on where they were with each build update (on a pretty non capable desktop just for testing Win10 insider), but not a problem when i got my new laptop a year after Win10 release.
  19. DAT has one, if your in Capuns good graces
  20. its not that bad once you get used to it. I actually am more used to it now than my older backup laptop with Win7 an Eric, when it works it works with no differences. when it doesnt, it becomes a leading cause of baldness in simmers/modders.
  21. at this point ya might wanna mention what rig and version of 10 youre using. you are having more difficulties than the average bear it seems. but like MiGBuster said, the mod folders should be created automatically. one other question: are you pulling the new installs from a HD back up or from TW site?
  22. curious, whats the reasoning behind the name Scorpion?
  23. more fun in Mexico
  24. well it is rather pointless if you just gotta follow the trail to the source
  25. welcome back to this neck of the inter woods. and good to here you got it figured out, did you get NA to load too?
