in the holding pattern for the new home field from Gepard "hey look, im Tom Cruise! im inverted!" "DAMMIT CARL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "say again American 1740?" "i said gawddammed snot nosed jet jockeys!" -
this actually impacted me directly, although in a minor way in 2001, the Army went to the black beret for all Soldiers. but it was discovered that many of the ones purchased for issue were sourced from China. That obviously wouldnt do after this incident. Alternate sources were found, but there wasnt enough for every Soldier to have one on 14 Jun 2001. amongst the Soldiers that had to wait were us in USAEUR (Germany). we did not get our berets until February the next year. all because of an overly aggresive Chinese jet pilot! -------------- ok end of obscure history lesson, heres a screenie

generally town, or township if its really small im sure theres a few communities that call themselves villages. but none i've heard of (and ive been in 33 states for more than just passing thru an airport) and they would be the rarity

"UTA 993, we've looked you over and see nothing else wrong at this time. Proceed to Tampa, we got the trucks out and waiting for you"
-
i dunno. i see no escorts, and a fire coming out the middle of the deck like that means damage bad enough to possible knock weapon systems off line (ie reactor issues). but a Badger isnt the best for that all the same.. --------------- UTA 993 on approach for Tampa International....

that almost looks like when an Intruder shot its nav half way out are there any entries in the cockpit ini that need adjusting (presuming you've played with the data ini)? are you working in the right folder? not being mean, it happens and can take awhile to figure out

Need some minor modeling assistance
daddyairplanes replied to simonmiller416's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
i myself find they match Wiki a little too closely in general. not sure sometimes who's copying who but with Wiki, you can go to the bottom and backtrack the sources for more indepth info. i dont ever recall seeing a sources or citation area in FAS -
now im curious, how long has the site been up period, with a follow up of how long was it biohazard and when did it become CA?

its interesting that there doesnt seem to be a book just on Patriots. on Scuds sure. on the HAWK sure. but non on MIM-104.... looked in my collection of books and no joy. also got curious and googled just to see if there was a book (led to the above observation). still no joy -
