ahem..... werent you the very one that worked up the B-47 numbers a year or two back? principles stand though and i dont see way a a stick of Mk82s or a LGB with in game, person on the ground designator wouldnt provide similar (tho less glowing) results NOTE: LGB wont work tossing if you load a laser designator on your bird. you gotta hold nice and still. and the in game on the ground designator will only work on the assigned target for that misson, not any side quests

A question About DA Mega Packs
daddyairplanes replied to daddyairplanes's topic in General Discussion
for those of you that voted mega pack the next project is currently at 58 individual skins. amusingly (esp to those that know me) the aircraft folders are nearly double the size of the decal folder this time around. -
in game, pretty much you need to practice. i havent heard of methods for computer release on the player flown aircraft. you still have to pull the trigger in the B-47E aircraft release there was a method shared to toss bomb the Mk15 nuke. pretty much involved "fly at specific speed and altitude, pull up hard at x distance, release at x altitude, complete loop and get the hell outta dodge". another member and i worked this out to a cookie cutter procedure for that aircraft and weapon. once we came to a rough agreement on how, it got written up and added as part of the mod you would have to create your own methods for other aircraft/weapons combos. its not something youll write into a data.ini if you do work out methods, please do share how you did it. reference what's in quotation marks above for what info others would need to have

The F-15 Eagle in Iranian Service
daddyairplanes replied to allenjb42's topic in Sci-Fi/Anime/What If Forum
not change in your mods folders the simplest, most minor alteration to the timeline would be to have the Shah pick the Eagle over the Tomcat. in reality not even the Shah's pockets were that deep but this is Allen's world, and in it those pockets were deep enough. not how i'd have gone, but it is how he went -

little side note on the F-14/F-15 flyoff: the Tomcat team cheated the F-15 went first. while they were doing their demo the Tomcat team burnt off fuel at high engine settings so that when they took off they only had enough in the tanks for the demonstration plus about 300 lbs. it made them several tons lighter than the F-15 and made them seem much more sporty than the Eagle the Eagle was more mature and the better technical pick for their need. but the Tomcat/Phoenix potential, mixed with some superior showmanship, won the day -

true, but a first rule of alt history is to make the initial change as minor as possible in this case, i would've had the Eagle selected over the Tomcat rather than both serve together also the C/Ds wouldve been coming online right about the time of the revolution and probably wouldnt have been delivered. but one could go around that saying the FAST packs were originally developed for the IIAF, then later carried over to the USAF C models and say that some of those were delivered again, its great skin work and i know im counting ficitous rivets. -

did they paint those the deep blue? if so would that make it a ..... dark wing Duck?

well i can dig that although... some of those folks just dont want to be liberated. and tend to shoot back. so you gots to keep some agility about you. cause 9.5G limit drops down to 2 or 3 when your lugging enough explosives to drop the Hoover Dam they didnt want to get liberated. didnt leave a plane on the ground. sent them all to blow up in the air thays the way they wants it thats the way they gets it and i dont like it any more than you do ok

i havent checked the A or R but yes, the E goes into a deep stall if it manuevers too agressively and AI just doesnt recover. player flying i have to drop flaps to landing and firewall it to hope to recover. and yes, this photo was about 300 ft to impact. three three shots at having her as a wingman to a Viper. given the mentioned problems it didnt work well so i said fu..... it and snapped that shot.

what he said is the most likely reason. i get it often if i fly a mission outside the time limits of the few enemy planes in my test install
