  1. for the most part i'd say yes but pretty sure Baghdad and Belgrade were still lit up on night one. Hanoi doesnt exactly count because the US had been bombing the country for years by the time the restrictions came off in 72. but since i dont think we have a way to have the lights on only for the first night of a campaign, then best to leave it i still say it would be cool to target a substation on the first mission of a campaign and turn the lights out
  2. airshow practice
  3. fairly realistic actually, if one of the 50 objects was also a transformer controlling the block or a local substation with those 50 lights as part of it but as you said, would then meant alot of work on the part of the terrain builder, and even with a set of patterns they would have to adjust the tile to the object rather than the object to the tile (as i understand it)
  4. "HAVE YOU FLOWN OVER PIXALATED WATER BETWEEN 2012 and 2023? YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION....." sorry, when i read "water full of pixels" i couldnt help but think of the ads on the TV all the time about "Camp Lejune Water" here in this part of the states....
  5. Tacos are great, even when its cold outside day or night and best when they have a variety of toppings
  6. I knew there were buses in there! not moving but still there
  7. yeah i hear you on the waiting part, and it is a rarer find on the internets got a hook up in pm tho, so Im good for now. huge thanks to Svetlin for sharing and Nyghtfall for already creating a really detailed AAR-45 skin that works on the old TMF model (goes back and eats words on "only so much a repaint can do".....)
  8. @yakarov79, you ever do a new LANA pod when you were working on naval A-7s? there's only so much a repaint can do for that very basic A7FLIR model.....
  9. pleasant suprise when i went to download the trainer today still gotta fix that skin tho, and wait for a guy in Abilene to get back to me on numbers and serials
  10. oh yeah, should probably mention i'm playing with loadouts Iron Hand guys, prep to be disappointed. the Air Guard didnt really do the Weasel thin in SLUFs, and so those are now omitted. It was the Navy E's that were wired for Shrike and HARM... but assymetrical loadout can make life.... interesting
  11. ini cleanups, or why did TK comment that out so the pylons stayed on no matter what.....
  12. weekend warriors 1, ADTAC 0
  13. now i've gone and done it...... so many covered units that its actually more practical to have bmp's in the main folder, and create two "new" stock airframes beyond that. i swear (to those that have worked with me), the decal folders will be smaller than the aircraft folders for a change. especially since two of the aircraf twill be able to share and i will bite the bullet and do some marks on skin meanwhile, a little more progress...
  14. this particular sumbitch took me way longer than expected. but the big parts are now done....
  15. i think Rends version of Germany CE had the occasional bus or truck but its been awhile since ive flown over that Germany
  16. shush you aircraft use harpoons or exocet on ships, torps on subs use B57 if you want one boom to sink them all
  17. weird, cause the aircraft was bmp, but doing just fine with a bigger jpg. no big deal to me, just weird
  18. on a series note, what am i missing on the Tank skins? texture named A-7_TANK, in each skin folder, saved as jpg like the aircraft ones.. hell, id think it would at least default to the stock skin with some green ontop.... disregard, got it to show in game, but as a bmp. evidently the tanks dont like jpg......
  19. stock SLUF down low gotta change out those stock tga tho. ya'll know anyone that can do that?
  20. while shooting pics the the WIP mega thread, i realized theres a SLUF in there somewhere!
  21. In theory ( and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) you could adjust the hit boxes so they are on the outer edges of the hangar, with big non-collidable space in the center. I have been thinking of the opposite, taking a periscope that's on a few subs ( as the only, very small model) and expanding the hit boxes and radar return size so it's a viable, attackable object in game. Would give sub hunters something to do in game... with scripted missions so a P-3 isnt going after a regular convoy with anti sub torps.
  22. yeah well, remember the bit yesterday about well mapped models? im becoming convinced TK learned to map on these here. and i know its not the worst one out there. so many little panels out in left field or seams just slightly askew......
  23. well if TK wont make a ANG SLUF DLC, i'll make my own. with blackjack and hookers.....
