Vote for Gepard, he's the only one currently creating jobs in the SF2 world....

but supremely frustrating when you find 21 serials for one squadron, and 14 for the sister squadron in a wing. and youve already spent 10 days on Google and bought a couple magazines on eBay rewarding when you get it. but frustrating while on the journey

“Dear Ron, I was immensely impressed by your splendid achievement: three cheers for AmericaI was also very touched by the generosity of the offer of participation which Cap brought. It brings home once again who our real friends are… I am so much looking forward to seeing you in Tokyo. With warmest best wishes, yours sincerely, Margaret.” same letter from a world where the MoD didnt turn Weinberger down..... -

paratroopers are generally listed as "bombs" so why not create a bomb station on the affected aircraft, then make them SpecificStationCode=Paratrooper, and have the same line on the troopers? then you wont get them popping up where they shouldnt. mind you, i have not dug deep enough into YAPRW to see the issue or check the solution. this is just off the top of my head reading here

Game rules for this thread: Same Unit, different aircraft. Major changes preferred, although in some cases like KC-135, F-4D to E, and C-130 different models could be ok. and you gotta name the unit and rough year of the change. to kick off, the 120th Fighter Squadron, Colorado Air National Guard. A-7D to F-16C, 1992

The C's and D's were pretty much interceptors by then and more likely to be used to defend CONUS than the Fulda Gap. so not so much of a need for countermeasures some D models went to Ramstein at about that timeframe with Montana and North Dakota ANG while the 86th TFW was converting to Vipers. but pretty sure they would have had countermeasures. push come to shove, do in the data.ini what the crew chiefs would have done: jimmy rig something!!!!

well, you seem quite froggy, go ahead an jump on this. we look forward to your work as for the references, theres a hell of a lot more out there than even 5 years ago, let alone 10 years ago (when TK last did major work on SF2 as we mod it). be glad for it and make full use of it

i figured the ini dance would be with a pairing of an aircraft and carrier like in Gepard's screenies. im not saying this is super easy to do. to the contrary, it will be difficult, not fit every aircraft or ship, and take a lot of time to do. its possible, but you'd have to really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, want it to go through with it
