Keeping close to reality, I woul PREFER to have no kill but some verbal (or written) announcement of a kill instead - but I can imagine that this might be complicated to replicate... But getting Top Gun will be cool even with "hot" kills!

Okay, I got it (on German keyboards it's assigned to the "ä"-key) and everything works (of course)... And I will keep thinking, which X52-buttons to assign best... Another one, though: by hitting Alt+N I "beamed" me directly to the carrier approach and got the ILS working instantly. Does it "switch on automatically" when in caged mode and when approaching the carrier?

Hey, I already tried to find a radar-thread (if I remember correctly, there WAS one) but didn't manage to find it (on the KB or the Gen Discussions)... When flying the Tomcat and switching on the radar, I do get the vertical bar pointing to the next waypoint mirrored into the HUD. When selecting a weapon, this then is replaced by the "aiming mode / aid". But how do I get back to my Nav-mode? I am especially missing the ILS-bars when landing... Cycling through the radar-modes does not bring it back, so, I should somehow "deselect" my weapon... (How) Can this be done?

Hi - now that the TW store is online again, I am about to download TW's F-4N-DLC. But I am having second thoughts: I have SF2V and NA both on July 2012 and (seeing the trouble the latter updates brought) am more than happy with that. Will downloading and installing a DLC require the latest game-version - or (even worse) update the games "itself"?

Looks quite good... A bit too "cold" for Vietnam but very fitting for NA. I especially like the last pic. Will you upload this as a mod?

Whoa! ...Just asking: as I don't have SF2 and SF2E and therefore had to stop following your recent updates of the Vietnam-XP, does this tweak bring together the "older" Expansion Pack with GH3.5? (I'm afraid not...) I do have GH3.5 installed and up to now never ran into issues (like the "height/level-mismatch"), but that might just be due to missions not yet bringing me to "faulty" areas..... Anyhow MANY THANKS for your tweak - especially the water color... Downloading NOW!

Hi Eric Thanks for your clarification... I will try and check out, what trouble GH3.5 will bring to my XP... And I saw that the XP-update needs SF2 and SF2E to show all goodies. I am a bit reluctant of buying those "just for the XP's benefit" (although admittedly it seems to introduce a ton of great things!) - what I wanted to try/check out is whether it will be possible just to extract some of the nices from the XP and put it into my previous version (like CVAN-65 i.e.)....

Whoa, trees back in Vietnam - great! Any glitches with the Expansion Pack anybody, yet? The only thing I just noticed, are some layer "problems" with trees (hard/impossible to catch on screenies) - like trees in the distance showing through some nearer ones... Ideas?

Yes, might be one way out... But remember: the 100-mission-line was valid for USAF but not USN - USN were flying missions as long as their carrier was on-line...

Ah okay - so at least this reflects the original situation, Coral Sea leaving Yankee Station... How actually should the game react to that, with the campaign not finished but the carrier and its squadrons no longer "on spot"...?

Hm, I know that I was experiencing sth like this before - but if I remember correctly that was the Steel Tiger-campaign back then (with VF-111 and F-8 if I'm not totally wrong)... I'm not fully sure, whether I have finished LBI ever before... (Usually some Patch gets in the way... ) The only thing that I am aware of having changed to the XP Gold is that I made Sundowner's VF-111-skin standard when selecting this squadron. Might this problem be attached to this maybe? Something that I might check in some VF-111-"setting"? Thanks again Oliver

Doing LB I campaign as VF-111. Yesterday I reached July 31 (or so). Instead of CV-43 being located in South Vietnam the "ticker" showed Thailand as location... I accepted anyway, loaded and - crash! Coral Sea was amidst Thai mountainside and my flight killed instantly. End of campaign. Is this a flaw in the campaign-data of the Expansion Pack? How can I fix it?

Maybe I have not (yet) tried hard enough, but putting my mod-folder on the (HDD) D did not work out for me... I have SF2 on the D, but (for now) kept my mod-folder on the (SSD) C.
