It is interesting to me that one of these guys in the interview has been flying the Raptor for 6 yrs – yet the problems with the jet along pilot incapacitation lines are a fairly recent phenom. On the other hand the OBOGS contamination may have been an issue all long that was not reported on until the crash at Elmendorf.

A friend (dogsbd here at CA) and I just loaded up IL-2 46. We have IDENTICAL installs. I am not running through a router. He is running through a router with the required port (21000) open. We cannot connect. Getting the time out message every time. We are both patched to 4.11M. If anyone can give us a vector it would be great. We are stumped. Thanks MistyFAC

Thats really too bad. MP with fellow SF/WOx buds is where it is at. It is a BLAST. All required is same/identical installs for the older series. Not fully exploiting /engineering MP for Thirdwire-2 products misses the boat on an opportunity to REALLY expand the community ($$ for TK & Crew) and increase its longevity. I assume based on what I have read there is NO WAY to add MP to the "2" series. That said - I have no doubt this community would produce MP packs that people could DL so that if they wanted to play a bud (or anyone of our community who wanted to MP) or elsewhere with same MP pack - it would be a breeze. This would be a welcome change from just flying and fighting solo. Quite a bit more stimulating - flying & talking simultaneously ( via skype or other) with a REAL person or persons. Same thing that makes ARMA and other recent sims so much fun.

H-60s would not seem to me to fill the 3s shoes for ASW. Then again I know little of the total package sub hunting capacity of H-60s However in terms of ordnance, speed and loiter - it would seem the Seahawks would come up a bit short. Best ASW weapon and screen is a sub.

After the DL of file one -the read me states this is ODS for separate install of WOE - and is for WOE with OCT 2008 patch.

I would like to know without down loading the first file IF THIS IS FOR THE OCT 2008 patch or not?

Stingers are all aspect IR missiles - not "rear quadrant only" weapons with a high degree of IR flare discrimination.
