EDIT: Update, found one over at DP Review that someone seems to be willing to sell, cosmetic condition isn't great, but this lens is built like a tank, glass looks okay from the pics and the mount looks clean too. Actually I don't find it too bad hand holding it personally, just need to get a strap now to affix to the lens, not the body.

There's a good chance they are being used as a low observable target to test against. In the fleet's current state, it wouldn't take much to return some to airworthiness.

I assume you meant to say "Comanche" helicopter. If it is a Comanche, where is the fantail? In addition, The RAH-66 is an armed attack and reconnaissance heli, which would have been bugger all use for getting a SEAL team in and out of the target zone.
