  1. I believe that is due to the differences in SF1 vs SF2. For example SF1 used a "Terrain" folder while SF2 calls it "Terrains".
  2. @Wrench Vietnam48, is that a French Indochina campaign?
  3. I will mention that your fence is very blurry in LODViewer. For comparison see the fence from the DESERT4 terrain in my SF2 install. You might want to change to a higher resolution subsection of you fence and have it repeat instead of using a fuzzy low detail whole fence image. Also make sure that your .LOD, .TAG, and .INI names all match and won't break existing Fence objects by replacing it with one of your fence components.
  4. I did an updated data file for the existing M163, with the correct training, elevation and ammo data. WIP Update M163-M167 VADS 11-7-2019.7z
  5. Alex Trebek of 'Jeopardy!' dies at 80 after pancreatic cancer battle. https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2020/11/08/jeopardy-host-alex-trebek-dies-after-long-multiple-emmy-career/1885204001/
  6. @JosefK Thanks for the link. @Wrench I considered "By Dawns Early Light" but compared to "Threads" it is no where near as bleak. The latter follows the collapse of civilization in the UK for 13 years after the war.
  7. Link: Threads 1984
  8. I thought I would share this.
  9. @Wrench Are you looking forward to Star Wars: Squadrons?
  10. Nothing from FarScape ether.
  11. I remember a story from Vietnam where a recon drone's mission flight altitude was programmed with a misplaced decimal. The drone came back from its mission with a tree branch stuck to it.
  12. The Aircrew Interview YouTube channel will have a live Q&A with Bruce Gordon, a retired F-86, F-100, F-102, F-106 pilot and Vietnam Vet on Wednesday, August 26th, at 1900 Zulu/7:00 PM GMT. He also has past interviews with Gordon as well as many other aviators. Channel Description.
  13. @Gepard I was wondering if you could pick this old documentary apart? I am sure there have to be mistakes given when it was made.
  14. Anyone recognize this key/switch? It is supposedly from a fighter or attack aircraft for arming some type of missile or weapon system.
  15. Sorry for being so late. With ground objects like ships the durability is a combination of the object's "EmptyMass=" with the volume of the object's "Hit Boxes". This durability level can then be amplified by the use of the "StructuralFactor=" entry. It can the be further modified via the "HasArmor=TRUE/FALSE" option. Then setting a "ArmorMaterial=" and thickness value in millimetres. Armor material types are ALUMINUM, STEEL, TITANIUM, GLASS, FIBERGLASS, WOOD, and NONE An example from a battleship. [Hull] ModelNodeName=Hull EffectSize=1.0 MinExtentPosition=-16.634,-105.707,-8.412 MaxExtentPosition=16.634,114.828,9.093 StructuralFactor=1000.0 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=STEEL Armor[FRONT].Thickness=304.8 Armor[RIGHT].Thickness=355.6 Armor[LEFT].Thickness=355.6 Armor[REAR].Thickness=254.0 Armor[TOP].Thickness=273.05 Armor[BOTTOM].Thickness=254.0 Take a look at this post, is included quotes from the games creator about hit points and armor.
  16. I just saw this and had to share it.
