  1. Well after reading these posts on this topic, it could happen to me, but then again I don't take a gazillion screenshots either, so if I did it could very well happen to me too.

  3. Just did a basic Google search and it said at the current outline, the Navy will use the bird until 2030 or later (the production line is slated to be finished in 2027). So that's like less than six years from now, or whatnot until some replacement comes online. I'll update the virgin download with the new expiration date, but again leave it up to players when they download the next update, which again will be in two weeks. Otherwise not much is planned other than when GKABS gets around to working on the 3D models for the pack.
  4. Right now I'm practically "feature complete" more or less with the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I really don't have much to add and feel that maybe I can take a good long break from it, hence the two updates today. I was going to post tomorrow but decided to upload it and get it over with, so I can walk away from it for a while until something new comes along and the like. As for other mods, I still have to work on the Kiowa, and tomorrow going to hit it with an attempt to color it better. What templates I have I can do something with it and see if I can't get the right color and get that finished. Not much else is planned and that means probably a few missions in the works down the road and the like. Not much on the plate really, so that's a good thing, but tomorrow the Kiowa at least, get it settled and see what happens. There are some issues with the mapping since the colors don't cover the whole aircraft, I'll post a screenshot of what I'm talking about in my WIP thread when I can. Other than that, not much else is planned for now.

  12. You'll have to edit each missile in the folders to get what you want, but even with my setup, AIM-120Ds get spoofed (not often mind you) by MIG-23s, so it is what it is. Then again I do also fire them at long range, but sometimes a hit is guaranteed more often than not.

  15. EricJ Weapons Pack RC112 - Due to some conflicts with other mods that I'm working with, I decided to remove the Taliban units. I'm sure that they weren't used as much.   16. Okay right now I'm pretty much on a chill setting for mods. The Taliban Fighters is pretty much where its at and so on. The EricJ Weapon Pack has one issue and that's the Barrett M468. I don't know how the texture ended up missing, but somehow I deleted it. I asked ADuke if he's got a copy of the texture so I can insert it and kill that error. Overall, not much for the EricJ Helicopter Pack. I do have something to fix, but it's not game breaking, so I'll hold off until inspiration strikes me. As sorta hinted I wanted (and I think somebody hinted at it), a UAV able to transport human or AI players around, but mainly for milsims and the like. Also for the future (whenever I get my hands on it), I'm not sure if I want to put the SA-2 Samson in the helicopter pack, or standalone, but I may move it to standalone, and need to get a hold of James Cameron (it would be the good thing to do to at least ask if it's okay, failing that who knows) and at least cover my butt as far as IP issues and the like, but that's for the future. I've been mainly focusing on mission stuff and adapting missions for play. I don't know what's more popular, SP or MP missions, so I just make them and hope somebody plays them. Some of my missions have shown to be popular, but it's hard to gauge what people like with some metrics and the like. Anyway, I don't have much planned right now, which is nice as I can sorta chill and see what hits my mind in the future.

  18. EricJ Taliban Units RC23 - "Taliban Fighter 2 and (No Hat) has an RPK-12 MG as a standard weapon - Fixed an entry for the Taliban Fighter 2 (No Hat) - "Taliban Infantry Squad" now has an RPK gunner (replaced one of the units with him)
  19. EricJ Taliban Units RC22 - Armed them after so many years for a mission I'm working on, they use BIS weapons, so there's no issue with weapon use and not making it a small weapons pack. Again if you don't like it make your own edits and so on. - Fixed a filepath error - Added a "Taliban Infantry Squad", given to fit the game, unlike in reality where there were no defined squads and the like.

  22. According to some people the images were off, but for one project I did for somebody he approved of it, so there's that. But I hate creating new topics because I have my own topic and feel it's better to ask there as somebody will see it. But as DA suggested, finding modeling sites and color profiles will work, or even some of the birds here as the scheme appears to be the same overall.
