  1. Well in all honesty, it's not so much the aircraft, just teh weapon itself. I just happen to have managed to get those moved over lately so when things work better, I'll get more in. And Dave, always appreciated bro, don't know what I would do without your help with this series
  2. I can't say that SF2 isn't the best, some methods, once figured out, is pretty cool. But I'm not quick to remove WoX yet, as I got the Vista freeze issues (got it somewhat tweaked so it's not freezing up all the time) so moving stuff around isn't an option yet until the freezing up goes away. Overall impression is it's good, but over time once people understand the various issues it'll be allright. But... I do agree, it's not the most preferable method (rather than having everything in the same game folder is nice) and really not efficient, it's not too bad. Just gotta be patient, and asking questions is the best way to do it.
  3. Well methinks more of a model issue, rather than just an INI issue now... The missing weapon image is the AGM-65G model, and the other one is the AGM-65E... not sure what the deelio is.
  4. Working the Angles, Heading Out, and The Threat
  5. Nice that did the trick both
  6. No, I'm actually using the old method.
  7. True enough... but when you try all the limited tricks you can think of, and still no worky, time to ask.
  8. Yeah... But the thing is all weapons act as they should. So I'm guessing I delete the weapondata that is installed and just drop them in the folder and it creates it's own based on the INI data already in the folder? But I still don't understand how it causes a rendering problem.. I'll reinstall it and try that theory out. Gotcha column5, sometimes you gotta be the retarded one to figure stuff out...
  9. As I've mentioned a few times.. been having issues with weapon models not appearing... got the latest drivers, etc. Windoze Vista SP2, and just Strike Fighters 2: Europe. I got KB's weps, etc. etc. But the issue I'm having (which I've narrowed down) is either it's a bug on SF2:E because it's repeatable. First it was AAMs, got that figured out, and fine. Now it's LGBs and laser Mavs. Figured this out from switching a IIIR Mav to Laser, and no see missile... I run it through the Weapons Editor and everything else shows up. I'd like to say operator error, but erm... I'm not totally retarded on working the issue. So what's the deelio? I mean granted the aircraft recognizes the weapons, they fire... but it's just odd to fly around with no weapons on. So methinks it's a glitch in the Matrix. I'm sure somebody's got no issues, but after three reinstalls, and no worky.... gonna have to bug that one.

  11. Well mine will get bigger now that I figured out how adding weapons works... Much thanks Dave...
  12. rog, thanks!
  13. You know I was going to come up with a smart response... but since your job helps my job.... I have to let it go, especially since you're getting a Sniper pod squared away on the bird. But yeah man, need to tell the T-ban to just take it easy for a bit.
  14. Much appreciated Dave, but it's not so much just Super Hornet specific weapons and equipment. It's when I have the generic loadout (for example 2 x AIM-9X, two tanks, and recon pod), it's when I want to add two AIM-120s they don't show up. I caught Crusader's comment about requiring an INI for each weapon. Methinks that's the issue, no INI file with it, so I will have to download KB's SF2 pack and modify it to make it work.
  15. Nice, and here I was stuck on the SF2 thing... since I can't figure out the issue with the weapon models not showing up, I'll wait until a patch shows up that maybe fixes this issue. But did you just drop the F-111 cockpit in there? or did you mess with the values so it looks "right?"

Made for the same aborted campaign, this is a MiG-29A in SEA camo. For the Mirage Factory MiG-29A - Russian, but can be applied to any MiG if you change the filenames. Falls under the Combatace Freeware License Agreement.

This is a fictional rendition of what a MiG-29 could possibly look like in Laos service, around 1985. It was intended for a campaign, but since the author couldn't finish it, he allowed me to release them, and I didn't want my work to go to waste either. For the Mirage Factory, MiG-29A - Russian, but can be used on any other version as long as you change the filenames. Falls under the Combatace Freeware License Agreement.

  21. True enough but I have a rough 95% accuracy rate anyways. Matter of fact I "toss-bombed" a Tunguska in Afghanistan a couple days ago with a -12F, but that was a shallow one anyways.
  22. You don't have to change the guidance types to still get hits. I still use vanilla GBu-12s against tanks and the like, matter of fact it's preferred
  23. Thanks! Orbiting waiting for my JSOW to strike, and mission complete.
  24. Okay, gonna have to check it out, but it shouldn't have that issue if I load empty pylons though....
