I'm jealous!!! Mostly I take up the F-14A with my mods, A-6's, AV-8's, and others. And when I can afford it, I take these up: http://dwc.edu/academics/aviation/aircraft/seminole.shtml :)

If anything, I'd say that the SH is bringing back the backseater back. The F & G versions both carry them. On the Growler it's a necessity.

Four eyes are better that two! Give each crew member a JHMCS, and the combat capability for both A/G & A/A goes up tremendously. Plus, it's nice to have some backup in an emergency.

Even though this topic has been hashed over many a time on many a thread, just imagine if Grumman was allowed to realize the full potential of the F-14D? AIM-120's, AIM-9X, AGM-65's, JSSOW, HARM's, etc. Throw in the JHMCS for both crewmembers, and it's already impressive a/g capability (and a/a) would of increased tremendously. Ok, hijack off :)

Don't forget that the AIM-54 was retired several years before the F-14 was retired as well.

You may want to check out some of the CH products. I've never owned any of them (but i did stay at a Motel 6 once:) ), but I have used the rudders and the yoke. Having only heard good things about them, I'm looking to go CH in the near future to replace my TM Cougar HOTAS.

I think they do (rotating barrels for the SUU's). Also, I'm pretty sure that the refueling pods have animations, but I'm not sure if they are player controlled.

What if it was made as a gunpod? They stay on the a/c, have animations, and if I remember correctly, can have an effect on a/c performance (as far as thrust (and therefore drag) is concerned)
