  1. Awesome pick, although Paul's Boutique was awesome too! I say pick any Beastie Boys Album and you're on the money in general. Other than that, Faith No More's "King for a day, fool for a lifetime" was all killer and no filler! Broken from NIN was sweet too!
  2. If that mule's branded, I bet it's with "Bad MF". Wow... that's some crazy action!
  3. If you were a fan of the previous games, it's def worth getting this one, but if feels a lot different to the previous games. NFG's right, rent first. Personally, I think it's worth getting just for the bankjob seen that looks like it was ripped right from Heat! Oops... ah... ignore that tidbit. Can't wait to see what the co-op option or the MP modes are like! ...if I can finally get bloody Xbox Live working!
  4. Well... technically that statement's true. If you include the one rusting at the end of runways...
  5. I dunno, I'm with lindr2 on this one. Modernised Tu-22s with comtemprary Russian avionics/weapons systems popping up unannounced or decking targets from standoff ranges would be pretty freakin scary. K, the Tu-160 is a very capable machine, there's a hell of a lot more Tu-22s either in storage or in service. Just a question about these two though, I know the Tu-22M3/4 didn't have an in flight refueling capacity dues to the SALT deals, but have they been equipped since? They're predominantly conventional bombers these days, I don't see why the SALT limitations would apply now. For that matter, what about the Tu-160. I thought I had seen snaps of an in flight probe and drouge system, but I could be wrong... damned cold has me a bit sketched out!!
  6. It's kinda a shame that it would take the better part of a decade to shrink something like the AL-31FP to fit the Gripen. Other than that, it would make a great addition to the IAF. The Mig-29M2 and Mig-35 would still be wise choices if only for the experience you guys have with them and the cost savings that'll be made in training and dev (when compared to a new, different aircraft type.). I have to say though, I'm sorta surprised that there weren't more LCA orders or is there some kind of two tiered Light/Multirole mix in the IAF?? ie the Mirage 2000/Mig-29 mix...? Streak, I think the flaw about France's embargoes on Israel was that there was bad blood (Neo-colonial BS, espionage, colliding spheres of influence, etc)between the two at the time and Israel was at odds with a lot more than just one French ally/trading partner. I mean, yeah there were other factors but when you have defence contracts with five nations and one goes to war with the other 4 (or vice versa), numbers have a tendency to win out.
  7. ...and us worker drones.
  8. I've had my 360 copy since Sunday but haven't been able to play it! :cray: I didn't realise there was gonna be a PC version too! Now I'm stoked!. I know it's a little thing, but the thing that bugged me about the series was the 1 sec real time = 1 min game time. I like spending time doing stuff in the morning or at dawn and then before you know it, it's already dusk. I have me several nifty editors for San Andreas that allow me to slow down time to make the in game days/nights (even syncs it with your PC's time to play in real time) much , much longer! So I'm hoping someone figures this out for IV too! 2 seconds = 1 min game time is still a bit too fast for me Just one question, is it just me, or does this one have the feeling as though it has no connection with the others other than names? I understand there aren't supposed to be any recurring characters from the previous games, but it sorta feels like they've started at GTA III and taken it in a new direction. It's prolly nothing, I haven't had much sleep since I finallygot my 360 back... There's more than 4 games, but this is the 'official' GTA 4.
  9. Any facebook users on here?? I use it for correspondence with a few of my buds overseas and for work purposes, but there's some pretty crazy stuff on there that's great for helping to melt an afternoon away. Specifically, just came across a group called "low Pass". You'll spot it immediately for the snapshot of a Flanker that's wheels up and barely a meter off the ground! There's some really crazy photos people have posted there, mostly from Airliners.net. Check it out, it's good stuff!
  10. Wait, this is coming out on PC?? I thought it was only a 360/PS3 release like the first one in NK...
  11. BAH! That's what Second Life's for! For when you run out of time in the first one!
  12. Why not, it's the next hardest thing after building the sucka!
  13. Huh, no kidding. I thought it got removed because I'd looked for it before... Well there you go.
  14. Gents, if you take a look at this site here, it'll explain everything you'll need to do in order to download the A-team's aircraft. All of the A-team's aircraft that were once available here at CA can be found there now.
  15. Ooh... very nice. Where'd you get the info for this from dude?
  16. Yeah, this new trend of having twice the scanning range compared to legacy systems and the newer Russian missiles having almost twice the range compared to Western platforms is going to be an interesting one to watch...
  17. What about 'Killbastarddeathmachine'? Has a nice ring to it.
  18. Hey Pab, you can find it at: http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ But if you don't know by know, you'll have to email the A-team to get a password for download access. Don't sweat it though, it only takes a day or so and they've got a ton of cool stuff there. Their email address should be on the site, otherwise PM me and I'll find it for you.
  19. Maybe an Su-30, but the MKI is a different kettle of fish. Its more advanced than the other Su-30s and IAF pilots are exceptionally skilled and trained. With that exception, yeah, that's pretty much spot on considering the difference in pilot skill/training between nations with the F-15C (who usually have the money to burn on training and similar/disimilar ACM) and nations that use the Su-30 series (who generally don't). The Su-30 may be be more advanced that the F-15C, but have that Eagle flown by someone who gets the kinda training the US or Indian pilots get and all bets are off!
  20. I dunno about Razor... seems kinda :ghey: You know, like whey it was decided that the Su-37 should be renamed the Terminator and everyone in the defence industry kinda chortled
  21. Happy ANZAC day lads! I'm all ready to raise a pint in respect.
  22. I have the shadows at max and I can still only see the shadow of the pilot, nothing more... Reckons I might re-install and repatch. Yup... reckons I might.
  23. Are you seriously telling me you'd rather go out and pop a cap in someone's ass when it's howling out?? That's just man...
  24. Some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you... Just wasn't the bear's day today
  25. Go Flyers, Go Rangers! I used to be a big Canucks fan, but since they've restyled themselves after the Whalers, my interest went back east.
