  1. perfect Oldham, Capt Brown it is :D but looks painful sorry WF2
  2. Avoid sticking all sorts of rubbish and punctuation in there though stick to names only.
  3. No Andqui it is not possible. Hellshade their heads should move around as is - probably too small to notice though, but they don't track you. It would likely be a lot of work to make that small effect to happen. Scarfs and streamers we have experimented with in P1 don't look all that good though.
  4. Sittingduck, that option it simply flies whatever the last campaign mission was, it doesn't generate campaign missions. Nothing to see move along ;)
  5. That's not what he's asking uncleal unfortunately. fasteddi basically in wide screen mode on 1 monitor you do get "more added" better field of view. It does not stretch a normal picture, instead you do actually see more of your wings, without more distortion. I believe triplehead is same, but someone with it will need to comment.
  6. Hmm from that you could see the bullet could have come from behind to the side too :) (can-o-worms inc) WF2 by the way in that pic the sides inside of the wing cut out look flat (well either side does) and the middle more shaped/domed, is that so?
  7. No the manager does it.
  8. Welcome Jim The "turkeyshoot" is a mode of "Quick Combat". You must have clicked that from the main menu... that is NOT campaign. If you click the Missions button then you get to fly pre made missions (download some from here, or make them, or fly the test ones) but "current campaign mission" aint going to work as you have not yet flown in campaign! So, do exactly as Winder says and that is how you get to campaign. Leave the "Missions" button alone for now. Also if you do fly Quick Combat, don't choose turkey shoot, as yes you may well be a turkey in that one ;)
  9. Good ideas, and without giving specifics away most already have been discussed internally, considered/or being done.
  10. ok I'll check thanks Rooster
  11. Also says he had 3 witnesses independently witness for 33 kills "but it's more than 50 in actual fact" 50 claims?
  12. Welcome chumleigh Never heard of that populating error before, sounds like something is broken - try a reinstall (see FAQ Q21 I think it is for how to remove properly). 1. Enlist a pilot in winter... 2. F4 toggles some of the outside views. See the stickies at the top of the main forum for key command chart. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showforum=204 3. Sounds like you hit something do you have wingmen?
  13. As always, if the disk seems faulty, email support with your order number and details and we'll try to help. iamjohnsname is I think up and running now. Best way to test is to copy the files off the DVD, if it fails on a file then it's likely faulty or your DVD drive is having trouble.
  14. Well we have mentioned possibles, some possibles... N24, N23, DH5, maybe Fok DVIII for WF2 ;) hmm, if so that does mean we have to balance all these super German craft DVII, DVIII etc with a Snipe too mm. Parasol, some 2 seaters, er.. and then [insert your favourite craft here] will be in the list goes that goes on forever.
  15. Well it takes you near and you should be able to recognise it. Next time when you take off take careful note of landmarks etc to make sure you can spot it! ;) Just like real life, no neon's in WW1 ;)
  16. Yeah a series would be great - maybe Peter Jackson will do a trilogy some day. BBC's "Wings" series was a little like the band of brothers idea with a zillion $ less budget of course ;) Good historical accuracy and facts mixed with some drama great stuff.
  17. OK weird but you only miss 5 days your train was attacked on the way, then you had to hole up for 5 days until track was repaired ;) Works here and for uncleal so maybe you missed an update or something? Is OFF fully patched?
  18. Jimattril, No it's not possible to turn on individual labels for each airfield name in P3. However, just bring up the map (m) your waypoints will show to your airfield? Also if you are using TAC then the blue line points to your waypoints. Eventually they lead back to your aerodrome or you can force the tac to switch to next waypoint (see Tips in sticky thread in main thread for keys)
  19. Just to clarify this one more time.. for BH&H: 1) it is NOT necessary to run CFS3 first with BH&H (Phase 3) at all ever, and if your CD or DVD is CFS v3.1 then you do not need to install it either usually. 2) Even if you have an older CFS3 that needs patching to v3.1 first. Install it , patch it. Install OFF BH&H (i.e. no need to fly in CFS3). 3) The DVD version of CFS3 is only needed once during initial install to verify it and copy some files from CFS3. It has no protection on it so is not needed when you fly OFF either. For older Phases 1 & 2: 1) For P1 and P2 it is necessary to install CFS3 first, patch where necessary to v3.1 (not for newer CDs or DVD), and then you MUST run CFS3 first. THEN install OFF. For all versions of OFF - CD versions of CFS3 will need to be in the drive to fly OFF as they do have copy protection. DVD version will not.
  20. You need the source files not the model from the game really to be able to edit anything in gmax.
  21. Loved it great work Jammer - don't think I have that many kills ever let alone to make a movie (considering the amount of wasted footage it takes lol) !
  22. Great illustrative video WF2 thanks. Yes gyroscopic precession is modelled in OFF. As CJ says the Camel's nose will dip to the right and climb to the left. Left rudder needed in both left and right turns to get the best out of it. Other craft have it but much less so.
  23. The skin is just one I plucked to check mapping etc it's not a correct skin - I leave the research and skinning to Shred and the skinners. It is for fun as it's not a huge amount of work to convert so far, and we may have no squad we can put it in anyway. We shall see.
  24. wip 253.. yeah just for relaxation...
