Sounds are mostly from real. Mercedes, BMW, etc etc RPM will drop with alt.

Depends but you can go to poly select, choose them all, then on right hand side there are smoothing options. This is gmax but same thing..

as chrispdm1 says unless the balloon is your mission target it is a ground kill, and auto assigned as such usually.

Don't know much about the latest ATI haven't used one for about 3 years but you should be in the 2's and 3's settings I'd guess with the GPU but does depend as steve58 says on CPU.. Celeron is not renowned for performance but check its heatskink/fan is OK working not clogged etc, and check if it's overclocked.. if so underclock it some.

We cannot fix it we can never reproduce it, and we cannot reduce the map size currently. We have very rarely seen it in development I saw it once in 5 years (we mostly use 1GB Nvidia 280 GTX). Usually it's a CPU, memory or overheating or over stress of texture memory in GPU. JJ, 1-1-1-1-1 sliders is awful (depends on CPU and rest of system of course) and you still get it with such a low setup something else is wrong. Try some of the tips on the FAQ or in other threads here. Try turning off AA or something. Closing more background programs etc ... Also overclocking your video card is a bad idea as overheat will certainly cause CFS3 to quit. Same with CPU, if you are getting this reduce overclock.

One or two do have crude sights, press F7 usually (if TrackIR hasn't got it mapped).

We recorded various bits such as mech shouting contact etc not all used yet, but yeah could be one or two German screams in there :)

Guys we have contacted MS before more than once, as I say please don't think we have done nothing here, we've been thinking and working on this for a few years now please give us some credit. Matt best to discuss stuff internally really we are not just sitting back and relaxing, geeze I wish, it would certainly have let me not put my personal life "on hold" for this for the last few years. This last week is the first real break myself and WM have had in years, doing almost no OFF! We do want to reach more etc, and are still pushing. We have only VERY recently actually completed OFF with the last patch - so now wow we have some time maybe. We can plan and make addons and we can push a solid "product". We have been working every day FLAT OUT on making that happen over the last few years, making and testing patches. As OvS says we are doing this in our spare time (with work and families etc) and yes some of our families have suffered. I think we've covered all the angles here, we don't need any more comments on it to be honest.... my last words on this for now.

Try moving your Trackir receiver more to the left, if you use the track clip pro.

Very odd, someone is out of step there somewhere. The DM packs should have ALL craft in them. Maybe view one of the planes with an issue in an editor, and then run the DM pack and compare?

No there is no additional slider for strength in OFF. I don't know of one in CFS3.

Normally it's fine, files and exe files do not get deleted normally, but the correct procedure for CFS3 when you have updated a video driver is to run cfsconfig.exe first to get the driver details etc read and setup your settings again, and it creates a new configoverrides.xml. So for OFF it's the same, but slightly different as we added a menu to help run cfs3config: Before you fly, launch OFFManager, "Workshop", run "Graphics Config", this will allow CFS3 to create a correct configoverrides.xml again. Happens with vanilla CFS3 too nothing to do with us.

Well done Joker you deserve a medal for persevering hope you win some in OFF now ;) We did suspect the video card a while back. It could even be down to a bug with the particular version of that BIOS in the 7800 card itself for example, some command that other sims don't call or whatever, who knows but glad you are running !

The craft should vary in feel, German craft tend to be heavier try that, Entente craft are light on the controlls generally.

fokker-dr.1 Phase 3 should run better but check out the FAQ if you have problems running on non-english XP / Vista

Are you sure they also have 1.30 AND the 1.30c installed SJ? That's the only reason for mismatches, someone has different version or DM installed.

Great vid Jammer. ATI video cards do not show the reflective qualities in mirrors and dials.

If it keeps becoming corrupt even when you replace it with this one, then it sounds like either you have drive corruption, or something is altering it (virus?), or you have files missing somewhere. Check your hard drive for errors, see Q21 of the FAQ I think it goes over cleaning out OFF before reinstall under "If you have other odd errors:"
