  1. Another big plus on the TW 5D and 5F, is that Ludo just posted his hi res skin templates in the download section!
  2. Hey fellow WWI flight fans, T.K. has a 4th of July sale on now which includes First Eagles 2 for only $9.99. For those of you still using FE1, this would certainly appear to be a solid buy signal.....

    Been Out

Best wishes, and I hope your father has a full and rapid recovery!
  4. Hey Ludo: I have found only Martin Baker Mk3 and Mk5 ejection seats for either SFP1 or SF2. What ini help do you need assistance with, as I may be able to help. If you skin it, it will be beautiful!
  5. This is the readme from Thirdwire's Download Page for WOV: ============================= Wings Over Vietnam / Oct 2008 Readme File ============================= ----------------- Table of Contents ----------------- 1. Update Notes 2. Troubleshooting 3. Contacting Customer Support --------------- 1. Update Notes --------------- This Update contains all the fixes from previous patches, and it can be applied to any version of the game. Earlier patches do not need to be applied. This Update also raises the mimimum system requirement for the game to the following: OS: Windows 2000/XP Processor: 1.0 GHz Memory: 1.0 GB RAM Hard Drive: 1.2 GB free space Video Card: 128 MB DirectX 9.0c After installing this Update, the game may require newer version of DirectX to run correctly. Please visit the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 to download and install the latest version of DirectX. We highly recommend you install this update over a clean install of the game - uninstall the game first, manually delete the folder to remove any mods not uninstalled, reinstall the game from original CD, then apply the Update.
  6. In my installs the wing tanks are all in the Weapons folder, and they work just fine!
  7. Hey Jimbib, best of luck on your final exams!
  8. When I saw all the files Geo was uploading, I also had an uncomfortable feeling he was closing his site. Thanks Geo for all the really great additions you have made to the SF community over the years. You have been especially generous to those in the community that have a preference for propellers! Hopefully you will continue to stay in contact with the community, and best wishes for the future.
  9. Eburger's Swing Wing Fitters pack. It was released July, 2011. I just checked the downloads section.
  10. Life is good.....
  11. He's a cutie. How could you not fall in love with that face?
  12. Thanks for being here. You have been an oasis through good times and bad; a welcome timeout from the pressures of RL. I've never met any of you face to face, and yet I feel I've known many of you for the longest time. This site is a virtual community which has transended the virtual aspect! Thank you
  13. Try the JTm_tiles_alternative_Solid_objects_alpha terrain data.ini's. The file is located in the download section. I had the same terrain flashing running Windows 7 64 bit and an Nvidia GTX470 video card, and this did trick. Here's the link to the file: http://combatace.com/files/file/10563-alternatice-solid-objects-setting-for-fe-tiles-by-jan-tuma/
  14. This looks like another alluring model from the studios of Monty CZ!!! Thanks in advance for another impressive piece of work.
  15. In just a year's time, you have made a HUGE contribution to the FE/FE2 community! Thanks again for all your efforts.
  16. What drivers are the best for the GTX460M? Hey Storm, just to be on the safe side you might want to stick with the 296.10 WHQL Drivers which were released on March 13th. I've been using these with SF2NA since it was released, and have had no problems with my GTX470. I'll install the 301.24 Beta Drivers, and see if there are any bugs with the April 2010 patch level SF2 sims.
  17. Sending out best wishes for a short and uneventful visit, and a quick and full recovery!
  18. For those Nvidia video card owners that do the beta thing, the 301.24 Beta Drivers are available here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
  19. I've been using the SF2 Combo 2009 since it's release, but just downloaded all the individual titles which are patched to the April, 2012 level. It made the clean reinstallation process much simpler than using the SF2 Combo 2009 package, and you could do any individual installation you want. You need the access code from any of your prior purchases (they all use the same access code) to download the current versions from Thirdwire.

  21. Have a truly memorable day which hopefully includes friends, family, lots of cold beer and pulled pork sandwiches!!!! Happy Birthday Dave!
  22. Here's the link to the F-15 version by ravenclaw: http://combatace.com/files/file/12474-aces-ii-ejection-seat-for-f-15/ The F-16 version is located right next to it in the SF2 Cockpits download section.
  23. After only three weeks since the last Nvidia WHQL video driver release, the 296.10 WHQL Nvidia video drivers were released this morning. Here's the link: http://www.geforce.com/Drivers Enjoy!
  24. Happy Birthday Sony, and thanks for all your generous contributions to the community!
