Damn - was shocked the Q-313 stealth jet was not flying this year - maybe next year The traditional military parades at mausoleum of the Late Founder of Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, south of capital Tehran saw the flyover of several warplanes, including the legendary F-14 Tomcat. On Apr. 18 Iran celebrated the National Army Day with a traditional and interesting flypast of most of its active warplanes. Eight formations for an overall 27 aircraft took part in the aerial parade: not really “massive” as some Iranian media wrote, still an interesting opportunity to see the majority of the IRIAF (Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force) fighters and bombers in the air. The flypast featured F-5F Tiger, F-5E Saeqeh, FT-7N, Mirage F.1EQs, F-14A Tomcat, F-4E Phantom, Mig-29UB Fulcrum and Su-24Mk Fencer divided in 8 formations. One of the formation was a mixed flight made of a Mig-29UB, an F-4E, an F-14A, a Mirage F.1BQ-3 and a Su-24Mk. As highlighted by a member of the ACIG.org forum, both Mirage F.1BQ-3s were carrying F-5E/F external fuel tanks thanks to domestically designed and manufactured underwing pylons. Obviously, no sign of the famous F-313 Qaher stealth jet. Most of the downloads will be compressed files (to make them smaller to send over the net) and will have filke extensions seuch as .rar, .zip Probably Google how to turn on file extensions in windows if you cant see them. Windows will be able to see .zip files fine - however you will need to install a program called WinRaR to be able to decompress and use most of the other mods. That only adds bombing aids If you want ladders , alt / speed etc then it can be done -albeit with a bit of work. Might be able to transfer over bits from another modded jet

CH FighterStick I have - looks like an F-16 stick and you can get loads of stuff on it - so good enough for me.

Too right - didn't realise they still made Pentium and Celeron chips! Thats a good result - I dont max mine out with mods - but am still on a P55 chipset and probably due for a new board

The game will overwrite the inis when you install a patch - but I normally take out the whole mod folder before patching. I have only ever seen it replace the ini with the default though If its doing it randomly then - copy the entire mod folder and put it somewhere safe. Delete options.ini and version.ini from the mod folder run the game and let it create those files again put mod folders back - but dont overwrite options/versions.ini

I think the Tornado will be fully retired by 2020 - something like that I did see this (Jan 2014) http://theaviationist.com/2014/01/31/dambusters-last-mission-tonka/ Royal Air Force’s 617 Squadron known as the “Dambusters”, from the daring night missions against the Mohne, Eder and Sorpe dams, pivotal to Hitler’s industrial heartland in the Ruhr Valley, back in 1943, completed their last operational mission (over Afghanistan) with the Tornado GR4. It will be a temporary disbandment though: the unit will reform in 2018, with both Royal Air Force and Navy personnel and it will be equipped with the F-35B Lightning II joint strike fighter. This last flight was a Close Air Support (CAS) mission, which aimed at helping the coalition troops and was made by Squadron Leader, Mark Jackson.

Can you get to the main menu screen? What version are you trying to install? you are running it from the exe not from an old shortcut? If any mod folder has been created delete that Does it run as admin? (right click - properties - compatibility). Try stopping some programs via task manger to see if any other program is stopping it.

Great stuff that - and flying the F1 for 3 different countries!
