  1. ok - thought i did check that - had to make some new orange tank skins for that one so may have missed it
  2. in regards to loadout screens - it can be controlled here: [LeftWingtipStation] SystemType=WEAPON_STATION StationID=9 StationGroupID=5 <--------------------defines order shown on screen from top to bottom StationType=EXTERNAL AttachmentPosition=-9.5,0.550,0.50 AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 LoadLimit=2041.2 AllowedWeaponClass=FT AttachmentType=NATO,USAF FuelTankName=Tank_B57 If you have stations with the same group number they will be shown on the same line in the loadout screen and can be selected together - so change them to how you need them
  3. Don't suppose they offered you a ride in the F-16E/F?

Canberra B-57G for "Strike Fighters 2: Vietnam" by Ahmed Junaid Raza New Avionics and TV by MiGBuster USAF2 Tropic Moon skin by MiGBuster READ the instructions - includes how to use the TV/FLIR etc 16 B-57Bs were converted to B-57G standard and used in Vietnam from 1970 to 1972 flying from Tailand for the Tropic Moon III project, and was a pioneer in laser guided technology. The B-57G had built in sensors such as a low light TV system, FLIR, and a laser giudance system. This enabled it to carry 4 x 500lb Laser guided bombs and self designate targets for them. The 20mm wing cannons were deleted due to the weight of the LGBs. 4 bombs were also carried in the bomb bay (unconfirmed). Its mission was to hunt trucks over the notorious Ho Chi Minh Trail. 6. No workaround needed because they work - you either have them in the wrong place - or you have the wrong path specified in the decals.ini file for the skin - Look at section 2 here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=44026
  7. dont change any LOD names The skin names for the F-4D 67 need to be are: F-4D_67_1.bmp fuse F-4D_67_2.bmp wing F-4D_67_3.bmp wing F-4D_67_4.bmp tail F-4D_67_5.bmp pit and bits
  8. Sorry I mean roll along the runway until I hit some speed What i mean is - if you do manage to take off vertically - or after rolling and use the nozzles to do so - once you are airbourne and gained some height (lift) - you cant put the nozzles right back until you have gained enough forward motion (thrust) to keep you in control. you gain the forward motion by moving the nozzles back slightly, and dipping the nose This is not textbook stuff btw - this is me mucking around with a Harrier!!
  9. Welcome!! Wow - since 3!! - mind you flight sims and home computers didnt exist when i was 3 - thats my excuse :)
  10. Yeah thats right - the other files are hidden away - put the skins in the F-4 folder so you end up with: Desert1 F-4D.ini VFxxx VFxxx Can you not select the skin in the loadout screen? make sure the skins files are not in another subfolder
  11. The latest and most advanced version of the F-16 is the F-16E and F-16F which are both Block 60s - they are currently in service with the UAE AF Lockheed Martin have proposed a similar version for India which may even be classed as a Block 70 if they get the contract.
  12. Ive only used the hard flight model - is that what you are using? how are you controlling this - do you roll to about 100kts then change the nozzles?? Bear in mind that when you get airbourne you cant just change the nozzles back to the other extreme - move then back slowly until you reach about 300kts then put them back fully - also after you take off keep your flaps down for a bit until you maintain control
  13. The last time i used an LGB you could only target the main mission target - which was obviously some time ago! im not sure when this abilty came in - needless to say im not bothering to test it on older games so it either works or doesn't
  14. its not out yet - im updating it for SF2V so it can use the newer features.
  15. To those 57 who downloaded the RB-57E from yesterday - I have updated it today - Dave has added a new cockpit with radar/ camera/ audio RWR and ive tidied up the loadout selection screen a bit - sorry about that (again) http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=9410
  16. Most of the design changes were made to deal with Vistas UAC according to him - his games have to work properly out of the box im afraid - and he has compensated us in some other ways. Keeping the mod files separate to the game files is much better for newbies - who stand less chance of messing up the game install. The new merged install is miles better - also requiring only 1 patch install. Weapons are now plug and play like the Aircraft
  17. Have found the SF2 harrier model to be easier to use in VTOL myself - but I always roll before taking off - normally because iam carrying weapons have you tried it with a clean Harrier?
  18. Some people have reported similar things at thirdwires forums - but TK has often said try downloading the files again and reinstalling them. when you say the textures are missing - i assume you are seeing white planes?
  19. step 1 here: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=44026
  20. haha nice one!
  21. Ive a merged install like you but I run all 3 exe files to run the games separately - so they can each have separate Mods in them and the correct aircraft. When you run one of the exes for the first time it will create a new folder structure in your Mod folders specifically for that game.
  22. you can if you have an SF1 game - but you still need the weapons editor to compile it.
  23. Should add also that the RB-57E is getting an avionics update soon from Dave
  24. ah yeah that would help too - thanks :)
  25. Really - where was that?
