  1. those 2 tga are just standard reused tgas from other mods...just renamed avq10....was researching the matter but did not come up with anything new... dimensions are "educated guess" and what we came up with guys on modelers' forums. AVQ10TGA.rar I will send you max..
  2. here is a new one, I built it some time ago... AVQ-10.rar
    Beautiful work, as always.
  3. why not make a normal gun pod with ModelNodeName=Gun_left/Right ? I think you are overthinking this...
  4. I just entered here because I thought the Nuclear Option refers to solving CA's financial problems.
  5. yes all stations should have rackspecificstationcode=A-7-6 at least in this mod... current GKABS A-6 uses different racks (also different code) which are more complex at some point. And my new A-7 (wip) will also use them...But this is a far future...
  6. There should be additional MERs and TERs with RackSpecificStationCode=A-7 (included should be in a pack ?) And then it will work properly. OPTIONAL MOD DATA LOADOUT will only work with optional Data.ini, loadout.ini and said MERs
  7. I have added F-86L of the Royal Thai Air Force. It is a separate download file. So, there is no need to download the whole pack once again. Live long and prosper.
  8. as a side note, the number of decals per mesh decreases by one if you have assigned specular maps in the 3d model and another one for bumps.
  9. yup..and AI can usually land this birds. One thing though, Yes all those special ultra uber jayhawk, pavehawks, blisters and whistlers are cool. In fact any CSAR ( I mean saving lives not taking them) is way much cooler than any fighter jet. But for sure some old farts here would appreciate clean and slick UH-60A placed somewhere in 80s. edit: Ok now I can see L.... well this one is clean but A. is classic
  10. and those missiles on the turret...yeah it will be madness believe me.. And there is no way to work it properly. You can make some walkarounds....check BMP-1P or BMP-2....This is the point where I gave up...anyway, the moment I fly I stick to the cockpit view. But yes when testing and just watching battleground...small things are annoying.
  11. ALl those yaw, pitch movements are related to the model (the easy part) as you have to set all axes correctly in 3d program, and to data ini. (pain in the a*s part) as sometimes you have to make "fake" components in data to have multiple turrets, independent movements, etc. Somehow it is hard for me to explain how you should exactly proceed. I have learned everything based on trial and error path. Not like I do not want to share my knowledge, just that there are many things you have to pay attention to, needless to say I would know where to start explaining. I still struggle when making some ground object mods - that is why I always refer to older working mods or simply to mods of others and then modify and test...You would not believe how many things guuruu improved just by - "let's check what this will do" If you check my BMPs from my Bonanza pack you will have a quite good idea of how things work. as for the rockets, missile launchers always have to face "front" of the vehicle (even if it is wrong for a model it does not matter - the game will fix everything - data ni (yaw/pitch angle rate, default angles, yaw/pitch limits etc)
  12. Although I am not entirely at liberty to release this...as it is based on a joint venture project also, I would prefer first, to finish the cockpit for it (and other zippers)... and some mingling with TMF... the new cockpit would be a challenge - and I have already a lot of challenges at the moment...so this is a very slow-cook project. and my very old project...somewhere I mentioned that I work on something with a name containing F and 8...(not F-8) Stary made a cockpit so in that matter it is "easy peasy" I also started Drakken a long time ago...but other more interesting projects came by then. Although I get past the wing section already.. But those are not 2-week projects. So if someone is in a hurry for a new model... I do not know how others work, but for me, every model is becoming very personal, I really need to read whatever books are available on aircraft ( which means sometimes I need to ask a lot of favors from family and friends to go "dig in old books" purchase and ship it to my place. Not to mention getting manuals and reading them back-to-back to understand how it all works when building a cockpit model. Then It is a pure pleasure to work on a model. Yes, you can buy a ready model (or download it free) and bing-bong-ta-da-dum export it for game standards. But this is not the same. And I always hope that the end user (player) will see the difference. live long and prosper.
  13. That reminded me of my commitment to finish Trent Meteor...
