  2. that bas**rd of mine, I started as 2048x2048, decided in the time (will be a year!!! in a month I do this set!) it's no point to go that HR. GPU/engine stress vs mipmaps and gameplay wise I think there will be both 1024^ for good (i5+ quad -I test on such system of mine here) and 512^ for 2 years+ and flip-tops

  5. Daddy, seriously, move the runway and aprons a bit or use the no trees on grass mod I uploaded some days ago. In the Terrains section for SF2 -that is IF you're using the "enhanced GermanyCE" mod, if you don't -shame on ya! edit: use my enhanced GermanyCE mod, really, it's better -then apply my no trees on grass mod

  8. (there goes my few days off...) To me it renders perfectly fine -that is given the circumstances- which is IsrealME_data.ini vs TOD files mismatch. Make sure you do use the one provided with the pack: there are several versions included; pick up the one for the version you installed -either tiles only without the trees and heightmaps; one for trees only or one for heightmaps and trees. Given the TOD coverage in the picture err... depicted -you need the data from folder Trees only or whatever I named it. IF still error occures, try from Trees and heightmaps. These data files in question go to your IsraelME folder, and should overwrite the one you're currently using (the faulty/mismatching one). Remember it's been a while I did this mod so I don't remember eactly how's the folders names. Just try the supplied data inis until you find the right one edit: typos, my keyboard is self-aware artificial/alien/dimensional intelligence

  11. Option 1 seems more apealing -better map size factor. For Turkey scenarios we have great map by Umut.
  12. Grim Viper, Kevin, PFunk -agree with three of ya! Wishlists building guys it's simple -re-read what TK wrote -code that adds new (small) features. So nothing big. I wouldn't be suprised if this would be his way of testing some improvements from Tomcat game. Yeah Pfunk, improved .TODs would rock for sure. edit: my bet is on improved gunsights -as this is optional feature, many (me including) would like to have but many not as too hard.

      yeah daddy, need some R&R away from computers and such. Holidays would be better description, but I hope I'll have some real holidays later this summer

  16. don't think so it will be relueling etc -more like something from the poll list days back -maybe imroved gunsight or some terrain rendering related stuff. Knowing the man, refuelling would be too code heavy to implement -that is unless it's already in the works for Tomcat, but I don't think so

  18. Oh, sorry for hijacking, wasn't my intention Daddy! I have it running more or less without noticeable problems, albeit I have to check more deeply for issues. The fading is end-user matter I guess, by default it would be on I presume -I don't so much like mods that incorporate own options.ini files, and if they do, I do not use them

  20. Hmm... Burma terrain had some additional tiles introduced IIRC, that makes GH3 not fully compatible with it

  23. Given the tone of recent TK's posts next NF might aswell be made for smarthphones... Yes, I'm ranting slightly -but why on earth does he give us poll what we would like to see and TW should concentrate on next, just to give us that good old worn no funds/not in this century/not what majyority wants answers in replies. With next NF installment in question, I'd wait for Tomcat to see what's the Thirdwire's future looks like. And yes, Tomcat will be the answer.
