In your AIRCRAFTOBJECT.INI (which you might need to extract from one of Objectdata CAT files) try these values in [Views] section highlighted in red: [Views] DefaultCockpit=A-4B_cockpit.ini CockpitOffsetDist=0.07 LookAroundHeight=0.08 HeadAccelFactor=0.5 HeadRollFactor=0.006 HeadSpringFactor=40.0 HeadDampingFactor=1.0 HeadMoveLimit=0.05 not perfect but gives slightly more movement for you viewpoint, perfect would be additional view roll during, well, rolling, Flamming Cliffs 2 style... worth further experimenting

  7. might be so in my case... but as a natural born mud mover after seeing screens from final version and Glowing Amraam's vids on Utube it's becoming soo tempting I can resist... and people report it's performing quite well on systems similar to mine (I have no problems running FC2.0, with lower resolution MAV screen)
  8. soo true, it's a problem with making one generic set for such varied terrain (and to keep with reasonable number of textures and types), I think with current limitations and given the amount of textures the one PB posted is the best compromise so far

  17. True, I remember them working in CFS1, the best implementation was in IL2 and EAW (no suprise), but rockets in both CFS1 and 3 were much overpowered. Creating new gun with parameters of real rockets? The problem I see is bu default all gun projectiles that have speed below 0.7 Mach are removed from calculations, aka the disappearing bullets thing. What was the speed of WGr.21? The other problem is I think that time-fuzed projectiles are working only for ground-basd guns, but this needs confirmation. On the other side, since Exp2 we have aerial rockets for Lightnings so looking into those might help..?

The only thing I can think of is to model this as FLAK type gun pods with single airbursting projectile per tube (aren't the Wgr21 tubes tad big..?) dunno about unguided rockets autodestruction, the only entries for missile ballistic times before autodestruction are inside missileobject.ini I don't think we could model the blast fragmentation in any way as there seem to be none, as far as my me vs. FLAK experience tells (used to be, around WoV SP2 IIRC...) Effect-side is a no brainer, standard ones or from favourite pack of ones shall do just fine

It's total crap, missions are nothing like you would expect as story telling, they have no background, nothing really, 80% of models are re-use from YAP or available as free here and other places. Stay away. Kevin, I think this is your gunsight: here's me flying with one wing, all you need to do is aplly opposite rudder the good old way: oh, my favourite quote from Zerocinco, SimHQ Rising Sun forum: I think he aims at 10 naive guys that have no idea about modding, free mods availability and this site (no suprise, you won't ever hear about any release here over at SQH) grrr... rant off oh, his EULA made me LOL, specificially the part about showing the in game shots in negative way... (saad, very very sad, as few A/C models are nice)
  21. funny they show shots of spitfire (nice) with my Madagascar tree mod in the background (not nice, not at all) IF it wasn't from that particular guy I'd but it instantly... I have and love Razbam planes, it's just the 05 that gives me creeps... as for "telling stories" -do they have in-game scripted voiceovers?
