  1. I like the idea of what-if hypotethical scenarios =more possibilities and outcomes
  2. Textures that tricks you there are more trees than really are. Every three trees in forrests are single object on tod file. Still it's a lot of them there.
  3. All current games, regardles of genre are based on one engine: Direct X Seriously, I agree with all of you, one hardly can imagine engine good both in race and massive open warfare simulator
  4. I'm posting here some work in progress of my attempt to bring default WoE tiles a bit more real look, building it in Nato Fighters 2 installation: Apart from forrests, this mod adds a lot of little stuff in open farmlands, like real-sized trees, road infrastructure, filling stations, powerlines, kettle etc: It's about 60-70 % complete, I don't intend to rework city tiles objects, as there are most targets located. Right now I have achieved little impact on framerate. Also I worked simple solution to get rid of the occasional "trees rendered throught clouds" bug. This will be compatible with standard, Deuce's enchanced and recent Hi-res Max188's repaint. As Brain32 is working on awesome hi-res tiles, don't know about that repaint right now, seems he changed general forrests and trees layout. ETA: less than two weeks
  5. Excellent work, love the city tiles!
  6. EDIT: In my first post I was reffering to shrapnelobject.ini and debrisobject.ini, but it's long time since I was even looking at them
  7. Ok, so to make long thing short -an event of plan explosion, in terms of flight simulation "logic", does not have any "shrapnel" of some kind bound to it, right? Like the flak explosion "simulation logic", that seems to have that "shrapnels" or in other words damage factor on near objects/aircrafts? I'm no way weaponspacks wise at all. I was thinking about the possibility of linking such "flak effect logic" to an aircraft explosion event.
  8. MAYBE, but pure speculation and untested myself -changing some variables or whole parts in aircraftobject.ini? There are entries such as debris, shrapnel etc... Anyway, doing such would be nice addition (survived multiple point blank enemy aircraft explosions)
  9. Central Europe? Hmm. No Paran country there, I assure. J/K, I'd like to fly over it!
  10. One of my favorited. RIP
  11. Thanks. Finding something particular is much easier now
  12. in flightengine.ini (extracty it if you didnt earlier) StartPaused=FALSE try changing to : StartPaused=TRUE
  13. THE Only and true fighter plane Bf-109 dunno why. Just love it modern? Grippen (shame Poland chosed F-16's, no offence anyone) and Flanker

another work Brain32 first moment i thought it's LOMAC, seriously!
  16. sorry, no release date now. just a weird tests to see what is possible in the matter. the problem is they can be used ONLY on a perfectly flat surface :no2: and the framerate impact is rather huge. will do some testings later IF anyone knows how to force particles to stick on ground and follow elevations -let me know
  17. sparkomatic, there's a fix, both in the download section, aswell as in the support topic http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5379

    Cloverfield

Im going to see it on february 1st. From what I read on dedicated forums, they slowly loose the hype after seeing it. those who saw it say it's like full lenght trailer. And casual moviegoers are wtf? after the movie. And Host was a very nice movie btw.
  19. Topcat II-sorry no dedicated download of hardened hangars/shelters right now, try Deutshland Map by Gepard(?) -has some new fine hardened shelters EDIT: WoE airfields pack by Gepard have new hangars incorporated
  20. F-106, Harriers, Marcelo's Su-27 would be my favs
