  1. I thinkhrc wants to be able to be able to turn his head more, if so, thises values are to be changed: MaxYaw=150 MinYaw=-150 MaxPitch=90 MinPitchFront=-60 MayYaw -limit to the right, MinYaw -limit to the left, Pitch for looking up and down
  2. sadly you're right JM, plenty of nutjobs on the loose
  3. Of course FC, I just posted what was news then, to be honest it looks more and more like domestic attack
  4. "Authorities have a identified a suspect, a Saudi national, who is currently being guarded in a Boston hospital with shrapnel wounds." http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/two_explosions_at_boston_marathon_iMR0LCkcwASg0RQfVsH1yI?utm_source=SFnewyorkpost&utm_medium=SFnewyorkpost
  5. what about those internet drive services like google keep offering me?
  6. my 40 and 80 GBs from around late 2002 still work ok in my old backup system, haven't been formatted in several years, but I use those rarely
  7. some of you know I sort of live two places 100 miles apart, and sometimes do modding stuff in both Story is I spend first weekend of spring with my lady, in the time not occupied by the whole "living with my lady" thing I drew some gauges textures for some projects I do. Packing for the other place I saved the files to my old (must emphasise this) pendrive I found in the desk. Out of habit I save numerous copies as I progress, like gauges.psd, gauges copy.psd, gauges copy 2.psd etc. Soo, back the other place I plug the pendrive to copy some files, my work included, just to find out that files are corrupted, together with Windows alarming me I should run checkdisk on the pendrive (at this point I was close to throw it out the window into the garden so thanks Windows...) BUT the gauges -copy2.psd turned out to be fine, so no harm done for me this time. My odd habit saved me some hours of PS work. Moral of the story? Backup your stuff, bad things happen
  8. nice, but it's in the wrong section I bet
  9. so.. months pass by... where are all those glorious DCS 3rd party modules I ask ;) oh, they're in the making? So is it me or the hardcore realism crowd will bury the DCS under it's demands (like they allways do)?

I've gotten into DCS since leaving TW, but am way overwhelmed by the switchology of every DCS aircraft.

But to answer your question, I think you said it best. Too many demands for this and that and therefore delays. MILVIZ, RAZBAM?

Jeff, all of them :) 3rd party content developers MUST fullfill astronomical fidelity demands from DCS folks to survive on the market, thus making the single module development process tons of $$$ with no foreseable payoff. It's the very same thing that made the simulators a niche years ago, simply anything below certain level was called meh and arcadish with whole studios going down because of what some armchair editor wrote here and there (I might exagerrate a bit but still)

  10. lol guys
  11. I still hope so, but I'll no longer waste my time for Aerosoft forums
  12. Most likely Dave, yet Dante and his team allways seemed to me as likeable, reasonable people, full of passion and in the know of what their goal is. Contrary to Fighter Ops where I smelled something fishy going on quite quickly
  13. I wonder if Aerosoft is de facto still the JT publisher
  14. Carlo, I've seen your post on Aerosoft German subforum and I've seen their reply ...or there lack of
  15. not that we couldn't see this coming after all after some month or so checked Aerosoft site, lo and behold, all Jet Thunder related topics are locked... just to remind you all, some screenshots from what some still have hope might see the light of the day: from 2006 from 2007 2008 2011
  16. now that's quality work! take your time, we'll wait patiently
  17. I hope so it's just people here do these freeware mods in their own free time, so as FC said, complaining that certain mod (and as we can see, Sophocles aims at very high quality here) takes too much time to do isn't considered polite at all, Morteza
  18. surely, we're patient Gerwin, that M970 looks very good for a first project as for these ini files, you can use the included texturelist to check and adjust the placement and then add new tiles you introduced or plan to introduce, then populating them would be just matter of using autoclicker app
  19. Too much time? Do it yourself then, you'll poop better model in a week I'm sure... Or go playing FSX, plenty of fancy models there... starting from $30 up... Some people with acute case of gimmenow vulgaris brain infection will do all to make one wonder if the hobby has any sense
