  1. I'm not that much playing for some time now, but Elite: Dangerous (Single player), Skyrim and some Diablo 3.
  2. Happy Birthday!
  3. and if not as transport, maybe as a bomber? :)
  4. Details of the Bombbay - Page 19 and 21 have some drawings. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=21808&page=19
  5. It's a model, but maybe useful. http://www.largescaleplanes.com/articles/article.php?aid=2246 Manual for Ju-88A-1, maybe useful too. http://www.deutscheluftwaffe.de/archiv/Dokumente/ABC/j/Ju%2088/Ju%2088%20A-1%20Betriebsanleitung%201940.pdf
  6. Aggressors! After playing around with them, I really like gun-only fights! I even won this time ;)
  7. I guess you're playing the stock vietnam campaign? A quick look in the campaigns .ini showed, that your unit seems to only get a new camo at the beginning of 1966 (S.E.A. camo, before it was silver) and a different version of the F100D around 1968.
  8. I can't believe no one has ever done it before. :) Don't expect to much here. I've never worked with 3d-modelling software before, so it's mostly trial and error. My focus is on small fakepilot-objects of course, as everything else would be far to much. First try is nothing to get excited about it - a LAU-118 Shrike/HARM-Launchrail, but that seems doable to me. Thanks for the links, that will definitely help! And grats to 500 posts! :)
  9. Thats the way I'm going atm...obviously it is the way you have to go here. Thanks anyway.
  10. Hey there, as 3d max 2009 seems to be unavailable, I read, that (with the help of a 3dmax-user of course) you can use Blender to create 3d models too. So after another day of constant fighting with Blender to get things done the way I want, I just wanted to ask, if someone can recommend a good read about Blender. An overview of the most used and important things to create 3D models would be very hepful. I guess forgeting everything you know about using Windows-programs seems to be key to learn it. ;) So any help is appreciated! Rene/Nyghtfall
  11. incredible, as always, a big thanks to you! I finally solved a mystery with your great tool...placing a decal on the inside of the skyhawk flaps.
  12. A little break from all the scooters...Just found Wrench's KAW Shooting Stars with ErikGens superb F-80C and played around with it a bit. F-80C from 16th FIS, Korea 1950
  13. I did a little test and this is what I found out and seem to work. I post only relevant parts of the inis. nation.ini ======= [Nation214] Name=USAF Aggressors <-- that name is used in all relevant INIs DisplayName=USAF Aggressors <-- change to whatever you need Alignment=ENEMY ... squadronlist.ini ============= [squadron655] Name=57th ATG <-- that name is used in all relevant INIs DisplayName=57th ATG "Flogger" <-- change to whatever you need Nation=USAF Aggressors <aircraft>_data.ini =============== [MissionData] NationName=USAF Aggressors ... texture.ini in aircrafts skinfolder ========================= [TextureSet] Name=VA-126 - Red 23, 1983 <-- change to whatever you need Nation=USAF Aggressors Squadron=57th ATG ... decals.ini in aircrafts skinfolder ========================= //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->NationsMenu [Decal001] MeshName=Rudder DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->UnitsMenu [Decal002] MeshName=Rudder DecalLevel=1 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=-0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 //DO_NOT_DELETE-->USED_FOR_LOADOUT_SCREEN-->NumbersMenu [Decal003] MeshName=RightWing DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=A-4E_Aggressors\empty <-- change to whatever you need Position=-0.0,0.0 Scale=0.0 DecalMaxLOD=1 You need at least one decal for level 0, 1 and 2 for each menu to show. It works even if the decal doesn't exist, you just have to have it in the INI. I recommend placing these decals on different meshes, as they seem to count towards the maximum decal per mesh. Hope that helps! Rene/Nyghtfall Edit: Added a screenshot.
  14. SF2 Vietnam (although modded) - most campaigns I played were in Vietnam....I really like the challenge to fight my way through tons of aaa and sams and then drop some bombs on a target the old way (no ccip or other helpers). And I like the colorful jets planes of that time.
  15. The silver one with invasion stripes looks really nice! Good work :)
  16. That looks great! I like the Blenheim, don't know why. :)
