    1. SF2 WW2 PTO PBJ-1D Mitchell (USMC) Pak by Veltro2K 7/18/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: This mod references the stock destroyed Il-28. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 1stGen game installs at any patch level. This has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This is a NEW, 'nationalized' version of Veltro2k's B-25D, as used by the US Marine Corp as the PBJ-1D in the PTO.
There are 1 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

VMB-413, as seen in the Solomons and SoWesPac from 1944-war's end

The skin is in jpg format,
The BuNums (serials) ARE 100% historically accurate for this squadron's Mitchells.
All markings are decals. All lighting is historically correct. Damage textures are in DDS format.
Engine sounds, pilot figures, new 'strap on' gun packs, are included. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months', and ARE relatively correct for SWP theatre usage.

      When in game, you'll see

      PBJ-1D Mitchell (v2k)

on the Aircraft Selection Drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Marine Mitchells you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

    2. SF2:V A-1H Skyraider, MPPD Skin Remod Pak 7/10/2014

= For SF2:V (but can be used in all merged installs) =

*You =must= have SF2:V to have access to the stock 3rd Wire A-1H Skyraider. Please note, the cockpit is NOT included. You'll have to locate and install that yourself*

This pack contains remods of skin/decal sets originally done by Mike "MPPD" Druzolowski for the Razbam A-1H Skyraider, for SFP1.
They have now been adapted for use on the stock 3W SPADs.

Skins included are for the following units:

      1st SOS, 56th SOW
22nd SOS, 56th SOW (Nite unders)
      602nd SOS, 56th SOW

as seen in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.
When necessary, the aircraft has been repainted to match the original releases (ie: 22nd SOS).
I've included MPPD's original readme for historical purposes, as it has interestering information.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

    3. This skin represents one of the few MiG-29s that Serbian Air Force possess in their arsenal, only 4 survivors (3 MiG-29B + 1 MiG-29UB trainer) of a very turbulent period, yet as few as they are, they represent the most advanced part of Serbian Air Force, and are flown only by the best pilots...
Ex Yugoslavian MiGs were repainted in 2006, with this 2-tone gray paint scheme and low-vis roundel after their refurbishment in Russia.
Since then, lack of frequent support, no upgrades, and small numbers of these machines leaves much to be desired. But, they are still kept in high regard by both the people and the army, and are essential part of air-defense of Serbia.

Installation is simple: extract the folder called "Serbia" with your WINRAR or other program and put it in your Objects/Aircraft/MiG-29A folder.

Tested with Wings Over Europe Oct 2008 patch.

Many thanks to the following people:

      Mirage Factory - Model
      Ianh755 / Stipe - Serbian AF Skin
      ivanbasic - Decals

I extracted the skin from stipe's MiG-29M2 mod and made it standalone.

    4. SF2 WW2 PTO, B-25D (Strafer) 499th BS Skin Pak 7/19/2014

-- Something for the WW2 PTO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

This is a new skin for Veltro2K' recently released B-25D (strafer) Mitchell. You can get the aircraft (if you haven't already!) at the following URL:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/14906-pto-b-25d-mitchell-starfer/

There are 1 skin/decals set(s) in the package:

499th BS, 345th BG "Bats Out of Hell"

As seen in the SoWePac theatre in late 1943 through early 1945 (aircraft then were replaced with J models)

The skin is in jpg format,
The serials ARE 100% historically accurate for this squadron's aircraft at the time period depicted.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE
There are =NO= nose arts, other than the 499th "Bat" nose. Those with the desire (and talent) are encouraged to do the necessary legwork on research, running down the correct match between nose art and serial number. And making it fit on the Bat.
Included also is a modified, replacement data ini, adding the 2 -NEW- external package guns (also supplied!!).

Remember: this mod is for those Mitchells used in the SWP ONLY!!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations.

      Happy Landings!!

    5. SF2 WW2 ETO, RAF Mitchell Mk. II (B-25C/D) 7/19/2014

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

A 'nationalization' of Veltro2k's =NEW= B-25C/D recreates the Mitchell Mk.II as use by the RAF in Europe in WW2.

There are 2 skin/decals set(s) in the package, both for No 98 Squadron (in standard USAAF finish). They are:

      98 (in "normal" clothing)
      98_44 (with D-Day Invasion stripes)

As seen in Northwestern Europe, from 1943 through the war's end.
The skins are in jpg format,
The serials are accurate for the version depicted, but should to be considered 'generic' as they represent no particular squadron or aircraft within a particular squadron.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. This will make it easy for other texture artists to recreate the other RAF Mitchell units (including Free French, and Free Netherlands).
Please note, this mod is supplied with 2 cockpits -- the 'generic' bomber pit, and one with a working bombsight (from the Invader). While not perfect, the bombsight WORKS. To learn how, =PLEASE= read the enclosed PDF.
For those not wanting to use the Invader pit, instructions on switching back to the 'generic' one are in the "Notes" section below.
No bombs or guns are included; you should have the RAF bombs and all the standard issue machine guns already. Pilot figures and sounds however, are included.

In game, on the aircraft selection drop down screen, you'll see:

      Mitchell Mk.II (v2k)

This will make sure you choose the right one (even if there aren't any other RAF Mitchells available).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations.

    6. P-51D Mustang - 5th Air Force

Here you have a collection of generic skins representing the 5th Air Force Fighter Groups North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.

They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camouflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).

This time I have decided to split the original pack into the fighter squadrons in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th Army Air Forces, so definitely expect
      more to come!

Most serial numbers used are stock ones and others are modified (colored) stock serials.

You must have the following for this pack to work:
      1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.
      2. WWII Nations.ini
      3. WWII Formation.ini
      4. WWII weapons pack

Also, you'll need to update your squadron list, which is included in each pack.

Thanks to TW for the P-51 Mustang and the original textures
