803 Naval Air Squadron skin for the Mirage Factory Crusader F Mk 1 F-8J
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Making this skin would not have been possible without the work done by the Gunfighters team and the Mirage Factory or without Column5's fantastic template. Thanks a lot, guys!
Installation instructions
--------------------------
Extract the contents of the rar file named 'RN1' into a TEMP folder.
Read the text file for further instructions.
Legal stuff
------------
1. The work may not be used in payware projects or in projects that will not be freely distributed under these same terms.
2. You must give proper credit in your readme file.
3. If feasible, include the original readme along with your new mod.

Well, the MiG-15 and MiG-15bis were nearly identical in looks, so I have modded the good ol' Pasko's MiG-15bis into a MiG-15. The Data.ini is strongly based in the new MiG-15bis package from Dave (I love this and the new Sabers).
The differences are:
-Worst airbrakes in MiG-15
-Different guns.
-Different engine
-Mig-15 is heavier than MiG-15bis
I have touched the Data.ini only. Nearly all the credit must be for Pasko and Dave. It's their work!
The external model is the same than MiG-15bis. All the MiG-15bis skins fit in MiG-15.
Good hunting!
Errr....Sorry, but there was an error in the first release, making the MiG-15 lighter than MiG-15bis. This is now corrected.
As a plus, I have included Ordway's MiG-15 cockpit. It's a Must-Have!
Remember: I have done a few changes, but the bulk of the work and all the credit for this plane must be for Pasko, Dave and Ordway!

MiG-15bis, North Korea "The Hunters" Mod
For SF/WoV/WoE/WoI
A small mod of Pasko's MiG-15bis into a 'nation specific' version as used by the NKPAF during the Korean War, and badged as seen in the movie "The Hunters". Albeit THIS version is a MiG-15, not a repainted F-84F <vbg>
This is an INCOMPLETE mod, meaing that I'm NOT supplying the aircraft lods, or the new Mig-15 cockpit by Richard Ordway -which is a MUST have!!!!-, or any of the other skins. So, this means YOU MUST HAVE THE MIG-15 INSTALLED TO COPY THE NEEDED PARTS FROM. Or download a fresh one from CombatAce, or wherever. See "To Install" below for a full parts list, and detailed instructions.
This is, basically, a re-decaling of the original North Korean silver skin as supplied with the aircraft, when first released. I've included the "GermanNum" tgas that are stock, 3rd Wire units. This makes it easier to have exactly the numbers I want to show on the aircraft. I cannot vouch for their histroical accuracy, but they look just fine on the nose. The lead aircraft represents "7-11" aka Casey Jones 'The Crapshooter', and his dice nose art, as well has the bort number of 7-11.
This mod has NOT been tested in WoI, but as the standard 15bis seems to work OK, this one should as well. Use at you own risk, however. The FM in in the data ini is as originally released; it has not been adjusted as per some of the newer versions as released by TazKiller and Dave.
As usual, you are ORDERED by our Beloved Leader to read the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions on installing The People's MiG to your game. As well as the expected "Notes & Comments" section by the Political Officer. Your diligence will be rewarded....
Good Hunting!

F-4S VMFA-232 1982.
Made for the F-4S by Crab_02.
To use it with the stock F-4J rename the .bmp files (F-4S_1 = F-4J_1 ...)
All files are modified stock WOV files except "F-4S_6" which is part of the F-4S skin by Sundowner used as a template.
To have the slimers on only when the lights are on remove the ";" from the [slimers] lines of the F-4S_DATA file.

RWR Symbology and Sounds for Third Wire Sims
by: Fubar512
crash test dummies: Jarhead1 and USAFMTL "Dave"
NOTE, these are not totally representitive of the RWR symbology that one might find in real combat aircraft. They are meant to make it somewhat easier to identify threat type (ground or airborne), and threat level (search, track, lock), for ease of game play. The symbols are set up as follows:
S = ground based search radar
Diamond with "T"=ground based radar in track mode
Diamond with 'L"=ground based radar in acquisition mode
Inverted 'V" with "S" below it=Airborne search radar
Inverted 'V" with "T" below it=Airborne radar in track mode
Inverted "V" with "L" below it=Airborne radar in acquisition mode
The colored icons further help identify threat modes, as follows
Green =Search Mode
Yellow =Track Mode
Red = Acquisition mode
Instructions:
Copy the RWR sub-folder of your choice (Green or Colored) and its contents into the aircraft's cockpit folder. The aircraft must have an RWR display to begin with, of course!
Next, you must edit the following entries in that aircraft's avionics.ini to denote the path to the RWR symbol.
(Please note that In the case of TW default aircraft, you will have to extract the avionics.ini from the objectdata.cat file, and place it in the aircraft's folder in order to edit it. You must download and use the SFP1E extraction utilty in order to do so.)
[RWR]
Type=3_RING
AirSearchTexture=Cockpit/RWR/AirSearch.tga<---Note path statement
AirTrackTexture=Cockpit/RWR/AirTrack.tga<---Note path statement
AirLockTexture=Cockpit/RWR/AirLock.tga<---Note path statement
GroundSearchTexture=Cockpit/RWR/SurfaceSearch.tga<---Note path statement
GroundTrackTexture=Cockpit/RWR/SurfaceTrack.tga<---Note path statement
GroundLockTexture=Cockpit/RWR/SurfaceLock.tga<---Note path statement

TrackPosition=0.55
LockPosition=0.15
SearchSize=0.125<---adjust size to fit RWR display
TrackSize=0.125<---adjust size to fit RWR display
LockSize=0.125<---adjust size to fit RWR display
SearchFlash=FALSE
TrackFlash=TRUE
TrackFlashRate=0.5
LockFlash=TRUE
LockFlashRate=0.1
TrackSound=RWRTrack2.wav<----Sounds (optional)
LockSound=LaunchWarn.wav<----Sounds (optional)
Note the path statement in the Texture statement. This must be followed or the model will default to using the standard texures (icons).
The Size statement is a variable that must be set by the user. I find that a size value of 0.125 is perfect for the F-15 series, and a size of 0.20 works well with the F-14, F-16, and F-18's display. You may need to experiment.
Last, but not least, RWR sounds. I've included two extremely annoying ones for your enjoyment. You can use whatever sounds you want, by simply placing said sounds in the "Sounds" folder, and setting the statement as noted above. Note that sounds must always be monoaural .wav format. MP3 files, and stereo .wavs will not work in any TW sim.
I've included a modified avionics.ini for the default Thirwire F-15A, as found in WoE and WoI, to help you understand what's involved, and to allow those of you who already have those sims to get up and running right away.
USING THIS MOD UNDER "EASY AVIONICS"
by: WarlordATF
Now, When i installed it, It didn't work. I re-checked everything,re-read the readme and everything was done exactly right.
But, I use Easy Avionics! Its simple to fix and i just wanted to provide instructions on how to make it work with Easy mode.
All you have to do is...
Copy the new TGAs, not the RWR folder, Just the new TGAs to your Flight folder and extract the EASYAVIONICSDATA.INI from the Flightdata.cat and edit it like this...
[RWR]
Type=3_RING
AirSearchTexture=AirSearch.tga
AirTrackTexture=AirTrack.tga
AirLockTexture=AirLock.tga
GroundSearchTexture=SurfaceSearch.tga
GroundTrackTexture=SurfaceTrack.tga
GroundLockTexture=SurfaceLock.tga
SearchPosition=0.90
TrackPosition=0.55
LockPosition=0.15
SearchSize=0.15<---Set Size to your preference
TrackSize=0.15<---Set Size to your preference
LockSize=0.15<---Set Size to your preference
SearchFlash=FALSE
TrackFlash=TRUE
TrackFlashRate=0.2
LockFlash=TRUE
LockFlashRate=0.1
TrackSound=RWRTrackSound.wav
LockSound=RWRLockSound.wav
And your done, this will give you a fully functional RWR and All RWRs will use the new symbols!
