    1. Early War German Insignia

The Maltese Crosses displayed in 1915 and into 1916 were narrow in the body and wide at the tips, this changed in the latter part of 1916 (sorry I do not have access to my library, so I cannot advise as to the exact date). If you want to use this style, just backup the original version and drop the attached file into the skin folder to replace the standard INSIGNIA005 version. That will replace the insignia in only the skin you select.

The attached screen shot is of the newest version of Borts tremendous Fokker EIII.

      Enjoy!

    3. Captured Triplane.

      (S!) ALL hi ;-)

This is a Captured Sopwith Triplane as seen in the Windsock datafile # 22.
This Triplane was part of No 1 Naval Sq and was piloted by Flight Sublieutenant
Wilford and was brought down and captured on September 13, 1917 by
Leutnant Kurt Wüsthoff of Jasta 4 it was repainted and remained on the Jasta 4
Roster, the Jasta 4 pilot was unknown for this plane as well as any missions it
      May have taken part in.

Also at Combat Ace in the Captured Camel thread Tailspin explains how to set
The Captured planes up so Allied AI will see them as German planes.
      The link; http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=18513

This skin is based on the stock skin that came with the A- Team’s plane, the things
That where done to it was to change it from the Black Maria back to a stock skin and
      Add the German markings.

Special thank you to the A-Team for allowing me to do this skin.

Special thank you to my friend Bob Pearson for allowing me to put
His profile in of this plane.

      Enjoy!!! ;-)

    6. First Eagles: Hitting the Zeppelins (Avro)

      Hitting the Zeppelins (Avro 504D)

Requires Flanders terrain from Combat Ace and Bortdafarm's Avro 504D, Fokker EIII and Fokker DII, all available from http://www.ebort2.co.uk/FE.html. Just drop into the Missions folder of First Eagles.

This mission allows a flight of Avro's to take off from St Pol, attack a Zeppelin base near Zeebrugge and return home. Enemy fighters may or may not appear. I have deliberately kept it simple because when tested, it worked.

    8. Mod to enable Max 188's Hi Res tiles in Edward's Flander's Terrain

This small mod allows you to use Max188's stylish high resolution summer terrain with Edwards most excellent Flanders map. The installation is a bit involved, but worth the time if you like Max's tiles.

What I've actually done is paint nine new tiles based on Max's high resolution originals to replace the new tile types that exist in Edward's set (all the others in Edward's terrain are like-for-like replacements of the original First Eagles set, as are Max's high resolution tiles).

Thanks to Edward and Max for the inspiration and hard work that have allowed my small contribution.

      Enjoy!

    11. No.10 Squadron RNAS

      Sopwith Camel F1 (MikeWhl)
No.10 (N) Squadron , Royal Naval Air Service

No. 10 Squadron was perhaps the most colourful of the British squadrons with three flights, each with its own set of strips on the fuselage and cowl. Where they are known, actual aircraft are depicted.

Full credit to MikeWhl for this terrific model. With the exception of the

main surfaces, I have retained much of the detail of his original skin.

Remember, This is NOT for the A-Team model.

    15. Red Devil SE5a

      (S!) ALL hi ;-)

This is Captain Leslie Holden SE5a ( Red Devil ) late 1918.

Hats off to the guys at Third Wire for bit-mapping this so well
It was fun to work on.

Special thank you to my friend Bob Pearson for allowing me to put
His profile in of this plane.

There is also a dock from the book High Adventure that explains where
The name Red Devil came from.

    16. New Loadout Screen for First Eagles

This is a substitute German theme screen depicting Kesta 4 in 1916, which you can substitute for the Spad hangars that appear in the loadout screen. Simply drop the file in the Menu folder and it will override the Spad screen. If you want to go back, just delete this file and the original will appear.

TK is considering adding code which will permit type specific loadout screens for each aircraft, but right now the code only permits one such screen for all aircraft.

I prefer the sepia version, which I now post as an update. I think the earlier B/W version will remain on the site- if not and you want BW, it is relatively simple to remove the color.

    24. AlbatrosDIII flight Model

Kept getting shot down in the circus, so I made a more stable Rig. Hope it works for you. Made for Bortdafarm's Fantastic-Looking Albatros DIII (available here). Just tweaked it to version2....was too much yaw oscillation and roll inertia. Rolls better now, but not as good as a fokkerD7; hopefully realistic.
