    2. Spanish Air Force F-104G

      Spanish country specific aircraft for SFP1/WoV/WoE, repaint from Stock files by Thirdwire.

      Starfighters arrive to Spain in 1965 as a part of the USA international help. Starfighters was first modern Mach 2 fighter in Spain, as Sabres were first line air defense. Only arrived 18 aircraft to Spain, plus 3 twoseaters. Serials for all that 18 aircraft are included. Starfighter served for 7 years only, when was transferred to others Air Forces. Then were replaced by F-4C´s (also uploaded my Spanish F-4C). Spanish were the only Starfighters operated in the world that never had any accident during its career.

    4. F-104G Italian Air Force 3° Stormo 1991

      F104G 3° Stormo C. E. Buscaglia, 28° Gruppo
      Operation Ace Guard 1991

      On 21 December 1990 3° Stormo received the order to deploy six planes, in recce configuration, to the forward turkish base of Erhac as part of the NATO coalition, during the 1st Gulf War. Between 6 January and march 1991, in rigid weather (up to 25°C below zero) and uncomfortable conditions, the RF-104Gs flew over 300 sorties patrolling the turkish southern border.
      The planes were painted in the standard NATO tactical scheme with low visibility markings.

      The squadron insignia are four cats (of the former 278° Torpedo Bomber Squadron) and it's named after Carlo Emanuele Buscaglia, commander of a torpedo squadron during WWII. The squadron has been disbanded during the '90s and 28° Gruppo "Strega" (Witch, from the callsign used during the war) is now part of 32° Stormo.

      This skin is for the original Third Wire F-104G model only. Installation instructions in the readme.txt included.

    5. P-51C Skin and Ini Upgrade Package

      USAAF P-51C Mustang Upgrade & Skin Pak for SF/WoV/WoE, WW2 ETO Installs

      This is a re-skin and ini upgrade package for Wolf's P-51C "Mustang" (Malcom Hood). The skin was created from his orginal template, but I've redrawn all the panel lines, added some rivets, made various and sundry enhancements to the skin; made several changes in the data, loadout and cockpit inis. A new N-3 gunsight tga has also been included.

      The skin represents aircraft from 356th Fighter Squadron, 354th Fighter Group "The Pioneer Mustang" unit circa 1944/45 (pre-invasion striped, or post invasion striped -whichever you deceide!). I've heavly researched this unit, and as best I could, tried to match photos of the nose art. Where data was available, the actual serial numbers have been used. All others are C model serials, but I make no claims to if they actually served in 356th. Some of the nose arts are 'interperative'; meaning I did them in the best way I could to get them to fit on the aircraft. Some are in the 99% acuracy range, so I think you all should be pretty happy with them. You'll have squadron codes and individual letters for 26 aircraft

      You'll also find a new "MustangC" hangar screen, I created just for this mod, and ONLY available with it!!!

      ==NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE THE LATEST WEAPONS PAK INSTALLED FOR PROPER WEAPONS LOADOUT!!==

      PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions, plus comments and notes that you might find interesting.

      Happy Landings!!!

    7. F-104G Italian Air Force 6° Stormo

      6° Stormo A. Fusco, 154° Gruppo - 1970s
      This skin depicts the tipical italian starfighter paint scheme used in the 70s, in NATO tactical camouflage with large national markings and big white numbers.
      The Squadron was disbanded after the armistice in 1943 and reformed in 1952 as a fighter-bombers squadron, the insignia is the famous Red Devil and it's named after Alfredo Fusco, ace and Medaglia d'Oro al Valore recipient, shot down during WWII over Albania.

      In 1965 154° Gruppo was awarded the "NATO flying safety" award, totaling 5000 hrs without any accident. Quite remarkable, since they were flying the dreaded Zipper!

      This skin is for the original Third Wire F-104G model only. Installation instruction in the readme.txt included.

    8. USAF F-4 Tailcodes for WOV

      Here is a long overdue overhaul of the USAF F-4C/D/E Phantom II tailcode decals for every Air Force Phantom squadron in Southeast Asia from 1967 through 1975 for WOV. Some 326 new TGA decals are provided with (hopefully) correct fin tip colors, canopy rails, tape lights, and intake insignias for a total of 62 marking schemes, many I have not seen released before. Also included are my F-4 serial number decals, plus a little historical info for reference.

      A new squadronlist.ini file is provided with new entries, but none of the original squadron entries are altered so you do not need to edit any existing campaign or mission files.

      I'd appreciate any input for mistakes/corrections and of course additions.

      (The TGA decals have some reference marks on them also to allow anyone to use them to create new markings!)

      Enjoy,
      Mike Druzolowski

    9. MOAB for SFP1/WOV/WOE (Version 1.1)

      ***************************** Version 1.1 Notes ****************************

      BLU-82 has been deleted.

      Improved texture and animation for GBU-43 (MOAB).

      Readme changed.

      ****************************************************************************

      Thanks to the following folks:

      TK - For the ThirdWire series of sims.
      Bunyap and Wpnssgt - For the original Weapons Pack.
      Mustang - For the great video tutorials.
      To my fellow Combatace moderators - For helping me beta test and work out bugs.
      Any errors or mistakes are entirely mine.

      What you will need first:

      Bunyap's Weapon's Pack - http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=2672

      Thirdwire Weapons Editor - http://www.thirdwire.com/downloads_tools.htm

      Copy of SFP1/WOE/WOV patched to the latest standard (as of 22 Oct 07)

      Notes and limitations:

      The MOAB (GBU-43/B) is a very LARGE weapon. More than likely, it will not fit (without serious visual clipping issues) inside of any bomber. In reality it are dropped from cargo aircraft, specifically the C-130.

      You will have to adjust the weapon station inside the cargo aircraft you want to drop from to 'fit' the weapon. Look specifically at the following limitations:

      LoadLimit=
      DiameterLimit=
      LengthLimit=
      AllowedWeaponClass=EOGB
      AttachmentType=USAF

      These limits MUST exceed the dimensions of the weapon you want to load...otherwise, it won't show up! The dimensions are spelled out very clearly in each weapon's weapondata.ini entry.

      Also, if you have a problem with a weapon showing up, make sure you are within the years the weapon was used, and that your carrying aircraft is USAF...because I made these weapons non-exportable. Now, if you want to use it in another nation's aircraft, just change the Exported=FALSE (in the weapondata.ini) to Exported=TRUE. The other option is to change the aircraft's data.ini entry to NationName=USAF...like I did with Dels excellent Aussie C-130J.

      Since weapons are 'hung' in the TW engine, coordinate systems to mount the weapons in the bay should not be based on where the 'floor' of the bay is...rather the floor plus the height (thickness) of the weapon is where it is mounted.

      I've provided my WeaponsStation for the MOAB as an example using Dels C-130J:

      [MOABStation]
      SystemType=WEAPON_STATION
      StationID=1
      StationGroupID=1
      StationType=INTERNAL
      AttachmentPosition=0.05,-2.1,0.4
      AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0
      EjectVelocity=0.0,-35.0,1.5
      LoadLimit=9600
      LengthLimit=9.2
      AllowedWeaponClass=EOGB
      AttachmentType=USAF
      BombBayAnimationID=3
      BombBayOpenTime=5.0
      BombBayCloseTime=5.0

      Both weapons 'slide' out of the back using an extraction parachute. You should use the EjectVelocity numbers...they help prevent the weapon 'dropping' through the floor.

      You WILL have to fiddle with your weapon stations quite a bit to make it look right when it sits in the cargo bay. I can't help you with that...but the knowledge base at Combatace and the PDF file with the latest WeaponsPack will help out a lot.

The belly of the aircraft, as well as the wings and tail was covered with a special coat to prevent corrosion, that's why the color is not exactly the same as the back of the plane.

    11. F-104S ASA M Italian Air Force 37° Stormo

      F-104S ASA M 37° Stormo, 18° Gruppo
      In mid '90s Italian Air force abandoned the traditional NATO tactical camouflage for the air superiority gray, now in use as a standard paint scheme. ASA M planes were intended to be pure interceptors and air defence fighters.

      The squadron insignia is a stork delivering its "load" and it's named after Cesare Toschi, Medaglia d'Oro al Valor Militare recipient, for his actions over Malta during WWII. The Gruppo motto is "Ocio che te copo" (watch it or I kill you). In '99 it operated CAP mission over the Balcans during Operation Allied Force.

      This skin is for the F-104S-ASA M mod available on Combat Ace and you'll need both JET-Z S/ASA mod available on his site (http://www.12packproductions.com/JetZ/index.html) and the original F-104G by ThirdWire.

      This skin depicts some F-84G of 103° Gruppo(Group) based at Villafranca Air Base in the 1953;the three flash on the vertical tail symbolized,with his colours,all the group: yellow for 103°,blue for 102° and red for 101°.

    18. N1K2-J 'George' Skins & Ini Update Pak

      N1K2-J 'George" Update For SF/WoV/WoE WW2: PTO installs

      This is an update to Wolf257's N1K2-J "George" IJN fighter.

      As stated, this mod, consisting of 2 new skins, data and loadout ini mods is designed to update things to the most current standard. Weapons loadouts have been adjusted for "Imperial Japan" usage, lights have been repositioned, and some tweeks to the data ini, mostly in hardpoints, loadings and an enhanced AI section added, along with switching over to 'metric' readouts for those that play with the info sections visible in the lower left corner.

      The first skin represents 343 Kokoutai - all 3 Squadrons-, Genda's "Squadron of Experts", in the Home Defense role circa early 1945-to the end of the war. I've redrawn all the panel lines, added my 'interperative' rivet lines (meaning no claims to accuracy are made!), worn and dirtied it up some. Individual aircraft numbers are 'best guess' based on a few profiles, and some info I've gathered on IJN numbering sequences. Therefore, 100% accuracy is NOT claimed for these as well.

      Skin #2, ie "IJN2" represents aircraft from the Yokosuka Air Group (couldn't find the number), and is very heavily weathered. (my first attempt at the 'peeled paint', so be kind! - I DO have some ideas on how to improve it.)

      Included also is a repainted bmp for the Zeke cockpit (as it's used on the George), that 'hides'' the MG breeches, kinda.
      I've even enclosed my George hangar and loading screens, for those that don't already have them. They're the same ones, so if you've got them already...no biggie (just so's ya know), and the damaged tga for the shot-up look.

      The screenshot above, is the 343 Kokutai skin.

      PLEASE read the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions, plus various notes, commentaries and general mental wanderings....
