Hi! This is another armed cargo ship. This time, it has M-1939 and ZPU-1 AAA. It's just another ini edit. Just unzip and drag to your Groundobjects folder. It's a new ship, so no overwrite is needed. I am planning to make a new one, but this time with deadly SAMs. I hope you like it!

Murasame class destroyer
This model represents the Murasame class destroyers (DD-101~DD-109), in service with the JMSDF from 1994 to present. These modern warships are Japan's workhorse, capable of anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-sub combat. Two variants are included, the original as-built vessel, and a recent refit with ESSM replacing Sea Sparrows.
The Murasame class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASW torpedoes, and two vertical launch systems: a 16-cell Mk41 for VL-ASROC missiles, and a 16-cell Mk48 for Sea Sparrow missiles. The Mk48 is a low-cost light-weight vertical launch system equipped on many NATO and allied ships.
A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Asagiri class, and upcoming JMSDF capital ships.

DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer
This model represents the Zumwalt class, the United States Navy's newest and most advanced warship, currently under construction and scheduled to enter service in 2015.
Originally intended to replace the retired Spruance class, due to excessive costs the DDG-1000 order was eventually cut back to only three ships. While still touted as multi-role vessels, the Zumwalt's primary role will be naval fire support. As such it will be a long overdue replacement for the Iowa class. The game data for this model has been designed to reflect this mission.
I did my best to make this ship as unique and revolutionary in-game as it is in real life. In addition to its heavy missile armament (with four data.ini files for different loadouts included), the Zumwalt is armed with an advanced gun system which can hit targets further away than any other ground object ever released for the Strike Fighters series. The model also features a spacious helicopter deck, original sound effects, and a few cosmetic easter eggs.

DDG-79 Arleigh Burke class Aegis destroyer (Flight IIA)
This model represents the Arleigh Burke class destroyers Flight IIA (DDG-79~DDG-88) and Flight IIA+ (DDG-89~112), in service from 2000 to present. They are among the largest and most heavily armed destroyers in the world. This package is intended as a companion piece to my original Flight I Arleigh Burkes, thus completing the entire class of ships.
As with my previous Aegis vessels, I've included name and hull number decals for each ship of the class, plus the necessary sounds, guns, and weapons. An optional data file allowing multiple simultaneous engagements is included. See the readme file for full details.

Yukan and Yuting class landing ships
These models represent two major landing ships in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy:
Type 072 Yukan class, introduced in 1978, China's first indigenous large landing ship
Type 072II Yuting class, introduced in 1992, an improved version of the Yukan
These classes form the backbone of China's amphibious assault force. Each can carry 10 tanks, or 200 to 250 troops, or 500 tons of cargo, and feature a bow ramp and stern gate. They are desgined to be fast enough to reach Taiwan from the mainland in a single night. Each ship is armed with medium-caliber AAA guns. Some Yuting hulls were apparently equipped with a pair of 40-tube 122mm rocket launchers for naval fire support. As there is not enough information about them, this variant is not included in the package, but is available on request.
Important note: Once these ships are installed, the game can automatically generate task forces on naval maps featuring China as the primary opposing faction (i.e. Taiwan straits/Formosa and so on). You may be tasked to sink these landing ships as a naval strike mission so plan accordingly.
I recommend that you install the Luda, Jianghu, and Jiangwei models (as well as any PLAN ships I create in the future) so that a full escort force is available.

Luda class destroyers
These models represent the Luda class destroyers, in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy since 1971. They are the first surface warfare vessels designed and built in China.
Three different variants of the ship are included:
Type 051 Luda class: Initial version, armed with Silkworm missiles, two twin 130mm guns, and a large number of manually operated anti-aircraft guns.
Type 051G1 Luda-III: Improved version with upgraded radar, missiles, and automatic guns.
Type 051G2 Luda-III: Modern refit with upgraded sensors and weapons. Silkworms replaced with 4x4 YJ-8 missiles, and aft AAA turret replaced with HQ-7 SAM system.
(An additional variant refitted with a helicopter hangar, the Luda-II, is not included since only a single example was produced.)

HMCS Bonaventure (CVL 22) was a Majestic class aircraft carrier. She served in the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Forces Maritime Command from 1957 to 1970 and was the third and the last aircraft carrier to serve Canada. The ship was laid down for the British Royal Navy as HMS Powerful in November 1943. At the end of World War II, work on the ship was suspended in 1946. At the time of purchase, it was decided to incorporate new aircraft carrier technologies into the design. Bonaventure never saw action during her career having only peripheral, non-combat roles. However, she was involved in major NATO fleet-at-sea patrol during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Asagiri class destroyer
This model represents the Asagiri class destroyers (DD-151~DD-158), in service with the JMSDF from 1989 to present. An enlarged and upgraded version of the earlier Hatsuyuki class, they are among Japan's most numerous and modern general-purpose escorts.
The Asagiri class features well-rounded armament including a 76mm gun, two Phalanx CIWS, an 8-cell Sea Sparrow launcher, two 4-canister SSM launchers, ASROC launcher, and ASW torpedoes. Sensor systems include the world's first naval AESA radar, OPS-24, designed and built in Japan.
A full names list and authentic decals are included. The model features a helicopter deck and a few other surprises. This ship is best used in conjunction with my Kongo class, Murasame class, and other upcoming JMSDF capital ships.

USS Albany CG 10 started life as USS Albany (CA-123) an WWII Oregon City class Heavy Cruiser she was a little late to make the "hot"WAR But she soldiered on through the coldwar in 1958 she was placed out on commission she spent the next 4 years getting a complete rebuild when she came out she no longer was a gun cruiser she had now sacrificed her guns to be a complete Guided missile cruiser sporting the Talos & tartar missile systems

*Note: in particular, these are designed for use in a WW2 ETO/MTO mods folders built =FROM= the
SF2NA.exe. No others seem to have whatever coding is needed (at least in my testing) for proper
CVBG formation. Be advised, it will absolutely =NOT= work in 1stGens. Please also note, that
the WW2 EAW ETO map, even the (as yet) unfinshed rebuild will NOT contain NA style ship-specific zones,
as it lacks enough 'sea room' for maunvering.*
Most of these ships are mods of Hinchbrooks's or Geo's, reflagged and slightly tweeked. Some
you may have already, and have transfered over to you ETO & MTO games, as they've been used on
several terrain mods of mine for The Pacific War , MTO or etc.. These will replace them.
I'm no Naval Archetiect, so "those that know", please make any needed corrections and upload!
When discoverable, armor values reflect Real Life . Names lists have been created for all.
REMINDER: if you have these ships already, you may want to back up the originals, as this pack
WILL completly replace/overwrite them!!!!
REMEMBER: For the most part, these are "stand in" ships!!! and may not reflect the full
capabilities of their Real Life counterparts. (Or, in some cases, even look like them)

This pack contains naval units for the Royal Navy and German Kriegsmarine, and a few French Navy ships thrown in for good measure. Some of these are repeats from the PTO Naval Units pak; no US Navy ships are included. You can transfer them from the PTO, if necessary.

a KM Graf Zepplin Class CV, a "what If.." rebuild from the Formidable lod. This is slightly
beter than the original I'd done some years back, based off EAGLE. Of course, we lack Lufwaffe
carrier capable aircraft...but, what the heck, right? Still working a FN Bearn stand-in....
All ships include a full "Names.lst". These are JUST the surface combatants; there are no
support/supply ships included, other than a 'generic' minesweeper.
Make sure you have the WW2 Nations ini that includes the Nazi Germany and WW2 Italy. It's
available at the following URL:

It should be noted at this time, I am NOT a Naval Archeitect, and pretty much all these ships
need SOMEBODY to go through them and add the 2ndary and Tertiary AAA batteries - expecially the
Cruisers, Battleships, and stand-in Destroyers.
Included are the ships sounds wavs, and my SoundList.ini. If you have an extracted soundlist,
just edit your existing one to add the 2 sounds.
It's also advisable to have the WW2 Guns pak, as it includes the Naval Artillery. It's

However, some new guns ARE included for the RN boats.
NOTE: WW2 Gunpack Updated 4/23/2013 to include some missing naval guns.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read

original readmes are included.
Reminder: a lot of these vessels are really old (2004/05), and therefore do NOT have multiple
main gun installations or secondary/tertiary batteries; those that do, have been jiggered into
being, and =DO= need further tweeking. Due to their age, "they are as they is". Of course, if
someone wants to build new ones.....<grin>
Remember, they are all pretty much 'stand ins', but do work relatively well.

HandyMax Tanker

This model represents a "HandyMax" sized tanker, so named due to the fact that their gross displacement of less than 60,000 dwt, and their LOA of less than 200 meters imbues them with a level of versatility that's almost unheard of in today's maritime industry.
This model was designed and optimized for SF2:NA, and that means Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. At the very least it requires the latest SF2 series patch for its systems and DX10 visual effects to work properly.
To install this package, simply place the folders located inside the .ZIP archive into the mod folder of whichever SF2 title you desire the ship to appear in.
The supplied sound effects will require editing of the soundlist.ini file in order to work.
This model package also includes an experimental effect, which will be most evident at night or under similar low-light conditions. Consider it an Easter-egg!

Spanish Navy Surface ships pack 1.0

This packs includes the main surface ships from the Spanish Navy
at the time of Operation Northern Sabre (1979), including:
-Lepanto Class (Fletcher destroyers)
-Churruca Class (Gearing FRAM destroyers)
-Baleares Class (AAW Frigates, modified Knox design, Knox model used as stand-in)
The Lepanto (Fletcher) class were no longer first line ships,
however, they were still being used for fisheries and patrol
duties. Would have joined a (the) carrier group if needed. The
model included is Grinch´s late 2WW Fletcher class, and lacks the
FRAMish improvements of the ships in service with the spanish navy
The Baleares (Knox) class frigates were different from the
original Knox class, their role being AAW. The stock model
has been tweaked and acts as an stand-in as no other is
available...yet
Improved skins including number decals are to follow. Please note
that this pack is intended for SF2NA, alone or merged

Modern French frigate update pack
This package includes the FREMM class frigate, La Fayette class frigate, and the Kang Ding class frigate (a La Fayette derivative built for Taiwan) updated to SF2:NA standards. North Dakota Tanker

North Dakota Texaco tanker v1.0 for SF2
This is an attempt at making a better-looking target as compared to the stock cargoship. I think this looks better.
Be advised this uses normalmapping and is thus incompatible with versions of the game earlier than february 2010. Works fine in DX9 however though you'll not see any per-pixel lighting. Won't work in 1st gen games so don't even bother.

Simply extract the contents of the package into your ground objects folder. It'll overwrite your stock cargoship so that, you know, it'll actually show up in missions.
Known Issues:
Destroyed model absolutely refuses to show up ingame. However I've included the lod file so any enterprising souls can give it a go.

**Notex2: ALL of the vessels depicted herein are 'stand-ins' for the Real Life naval vessels they depict. I've chosen to use the "best, closest shapes". In this regard, they DO have a physical approximation to the real boats.*
This pack contains 3 "Stand In" ships representing French Naval vessels:
Clemencau Class CV (uses SCB125 Essex)
Duperre Class DD (using Hinch's Cavailer)
Leygues Class DDG (using the SF2NA Spruance)
Included are sounds, and instrucitons for editing the soundlist.ini to add them. Also included is the 100mm ACAS gun.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please READ them!
At the very least, this WILL give the DLC French Crusader and Super Etendards a home. Please accept them in the spirit intended!

Ticonderoga class cruiser superpack
This package includes every variant of the Ticonderoga class Aegis cruisers, including:
CG-47 Baseline 1 (Mk26 twin arm launcher)
CG-52 Baseline 2 (Mk41 VLS)
CG-59 Baseline 3&4 (improved sensors and weapons)
CG-52_06 (first round of modernization refits circa 2006)
CG-52_12 (final Cruiser Conversion Program refits, starting 2012)
Naturally, all sounds, decals, weapons, ship name and number lists are included. The CG-52 and CG-59 variants are further divided into air defense and land attack versions, armed with Standard Missiles and Tomahawks respectively. Each of the air defense ships also comes with two different data.ini files: the default, which uses a true VLS weapon system (albeit one missile and one target at a time and disables the Harpoon missiles), and a data_EX.ini version, which enables multiple simultaneous engagements and is almost as deadly as its real life counterpart. Use whichever one you like, depending on if you prefer realistic visuals or realistic performance.
The Ticonderoga has always been my "flagship" project (pun intended), and so I've updated the models using everything I've learned in the year since I started modding. I've also added a small Easter Egg for those of you who want to try a helicopter takeoff from from this ship.
Note: The weapon systems, collision mesh, and decals have been updated for compatibility with SF2: North Atlantic and the March 2012 patch. If you have not installed/do not plan to install either, this model will not work properly. See the readme file for full details.

Jianghu class frigates
These four models represent variants of the Jianghu class frigate, including the Type 053H Jianghu-I, Type053H1 Jianghu-II, Type 053H1S Jianghu-II, and Type 053K Jiangdong, in service with the People's Liberation Army Navy.
The Jianghu series frigates were all developed from the Riga class frigates obtained from Russia, and spawned a surprising multitude of variants and subtypes. In turn, they were later developed into the larger and more modern Jiangwei class frigates.
The Jianghu-I is armed with six HY-1 Silkworm missiles in two rotating box launchers. It also carries two 100mm guns and four twin 37mm mounts for air defense.
The Jianghu-II is armed with six improved HY-2 missiles, two twin 100mm guns, and the same 37mm armament of the Jianghu-I. It has been given a more contemporary light grey paint for recognition.
At least one Jianghu class has been specially modified into the 053H1S naval fire support subtype, replacing the SSM launchers and aft island with five 50-tube rocket launchers. They have the firepower of an entire rocket artillery battery and are capable of coastal bombardment from up over 30km away.
The Jiangdong, China's first attempt at SAM-armed air defense vessel, is equipped with two twin launchers for HQ-61 missiles, plus two twin 100mm guns and four twin 37mm guns. The missiles proved to be ineffective (and the launchers apparently lack any sort of automatic reloading system), so only two of the type were built.

SF-2NA HMS Bristol

This is a Type 82 destroyer, the only vessel of her class to be built
for the Royal Navy.
Originally intended as the first of a class of new large destroyers
to escort the CVA-01 aircraft carriers projected to come into
service in the early 1970s, Bristol turned out to be a unique ship.
The rest of the class were cancelled when the CVA-01 carriers fell
victim to the 1966 Strategic Defence Review.
She joined the Royal Navy task force in the South Atlantic in the
1982 Falklands War.
In 1987 she replaced the County class destroyer HMS Kent as the
Britannia Royal Naval College training ship.
This is a remake of original Hinchinbrooke's model for SF-1.
I applied a new number and edited inis.

Daring Class DD (SF-2NA)

The Daring class was a class of eleven destroyers built for the Royal Navy (RN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN).
Constructed after World War II, and entering service during the 1950s, eight ships were constructed for the RN
(HMS Daring (D05), HMS Dainty (D108), HMS Diamond (D35), HMS Defender (D114), HMS Decoy (D106), HMS Diana (D126),
HMS Duchess (D154),HMS Delight (D119)) and three ships for the RAN (HMAS Vampire (D11), HMAS Voyager (D04),
HMAS Vendetta (D08)).
Two of the RN destroyers were subsequently sold to and served in the Peruvian Navy (MGP).
HMS Diana (D126) was BAP Palacios (DM-73) and HMS Decoy (D106) BAP Ferré (DM-74).
They had some modifications as 4 Exocet.
HMS Duchess (D154) was sold to Australia after HMAS Voyager (D04) sunk colliding with HAMS Melbourne.
A further eight ships were planned for the RN but were cancelled before construction commenced, while a fourth
RAN vessel was begun but was cancelled before launch and broken up on the slipway.
As userlist function isn't well experimented for ships I made 3 different classes by nation.
A later RAN skin with USS style numbers is included but StartDefaultDate entry seems not implemented.
The Peruvian ships Exocets missiles could be added later if someone with max files wiil do the job.
