    1. Pilot Legs Developer Pack

Simple .3ds and Max 9 files containing the legs I used for the F-35.

Drop it into your cockpit mesh to relieve that phantom limb syndrome.

This is NOT, repeat NOT a plugin for Strike Fighters, it is for developers to add to their cockpits if they so choose. If somebody wants to play around with them and try adding them as an ini, feel free, but it ain't gonna be me!

      Cheers.

    2. Ordway's Early MiG Pits -Upgrade/Repair Package

Early MiG Series Cockpit Upgrade/Repair Pakage

      for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI & SF2/SF2:V/SF2:E

This is a rebulid of Ordway's Early MiG pits for use in ALL the 3rd Wire Series. It's designed for the following aircraft (and/or variants thereof):

      MiG-15bis (by Pasko)

      Stock 3rdWire:

      MiG-17 Fresco-A
      MiG-17F Fresco-C
      MiG-19S Farmer-C

It is also, therefore, completly useable for any of the myriad 3rd-Party mods of variants of these aircraft (excepting those Frescos and Farmers that are radar equipped -doh!)

Specifialy, it's designed to REPLACE the original versions, as some (including myself) have experienced odd CTDs with an 'aircraftobject.dll' fault in the SF2 series.. By rebuilding these with a STOCK A-4B cockpit lod (albeit from WoE), and reusing Mr. Ordway's VERY COOL gauge bmp repaints, and re-editing the A-4B_cockpit ini, this has been eliminated. This mod has been EXTENSIVELY tested in SF2, as this was the basis and reason for the 'fix', and will work in the Classic Series ™ just as well as the originals. All necessary parts are included.
I even snuck in some Generic WoE-style Hangar screens for the 17 & 19. These will also work in ANY version of the sim.

As always, it's reccomended that you unzip this package to temp folder, or your desktop, to gain access to the rest of the readme for it's specific instructions. Which are gonna run a bit on the long side....so you probably (read: SHOULD) read the document all the way through first before installing. Just to be safe, doncha know

With expecial thanks to Mr. R. Ordway for creating these in the first place!!

      Good Hunting!

    3. Skyraider Cockpit Mod

"Stand In" Prop Cockpit Mod for MontyCZ's A-1H and 3rd Wire's A-1H/A-1J Skyraiders

      For SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and SF2/SF2:V/SF2:E

This mod is a semi-complete overhaul of the stock A-4B Skyhawk cockpit into a 'passable' stand-in prop-style pit for use on Monty's Skyraiders and the new Skyraiders in SF2:V. I say "passable", as opposed to the more true "fiddled-with-to-within-an-inch-of-its-life, not-even-close-to-reality".

This mod uses ALL stock items, found in just about all versions, and includes EVERYTHING needed to get your AI SPADs in SF2:V up and flyable. All bmps, inis, and the cockpit lod are included. Most of the gauges have been repainted and reletter for a more "piston engined" look. As stated earlier, it's really designed for use with MontyCZ's A-1, but it's still in the Hangar for it's overhaul, hence, I'm releasing this mod before the aircraft it was made for. Rest assured it'll be included in the new version.

This package has been tested in all the Classic Series ™ -hereinafter known as "TOS", and also in SF2:V -hereinafter to be known as "NextGen" versions of the sim. It works pretty damn good in both, allowing for the innaccuracies in the general layout and so forth. A new avionics ini is included for an audio-only RWR. While not too helpfull, it'll allow you some 'heads-up' time to look around for that radar or radar-controlled AAA or SAM that's about to get you.

DISCLAIMER: this cockpit layout ain't even close to Real Life ™. I already know this, but it works, the instruments read pretty close to 'normal', and it's free.

As always, unzip the package to a temp folder, or your desktop, to gain access to the rest of this readme for the full install instructions. It's reccomended you DO so, and read this through before installing; it'll help you understand what we're going to do a bit more.

      Happy Landings!!!

    4. IL-28 Beagle Cockpit & Ini Upgrade Pak

IL-28 Beagle Cockpit Upgrade for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI and SF2

Modifications and repaints to the stock F-4B Phantom cockpit creates a 'reasonably facsimile' twin-jet engine pit for use on the otherwise "AI Only" Ilyushin IL-28 'Beagle". I say 'reasonable', as the Real Life ™, the Beagle didn't have a radar scope in the cockpit; all that was handled by the bomb aimer/navigator. But, this will allow the Player Pilot some control over what happens.

This is a complete package, with all the necessary bits to just unzip, and install into your game install of choice. As I knew this mod would work in the Classic Series (SF/SFG/Wo-whatever), most of the testing was done is SF2. This assured me that all would work (more or less) as advertised.
For SF2/2:V players, specfic inis for those games are included, edited as necessary to match those of the Classic Series.
For Classic Series users, the data ini included is for use in those installs at the 08 patch level.
Both data inis included herein have had some small adjustments in the gun aim angles, and landing lights added for those bothersome night operations, and a small tweek to the landing gear's rolling radius.

Also included is a generic WoE-Style hangar screen (usable in ALL versions of the series), and the loadout.bmp for the Loading Screen. For those that don't have them, the MiG-style RWR sounds are here for your enjoyment and panicification (with no display, you won't know WHAT kind of radar, or where ... just somebody's looking at YOU!!! <evil grin> )

As always, detailed instruction are included below in the "To Install" section. It's reccomended that you unzip this package to temp folder or your desktop to gain access to the rest of the readme FOR said instructions. The "Notes and Other Nonsensical Ramblings" section will make good reading too, for explinations and etc.

      Enjoy!

    6. B-52 series pit placeholder

This pit will be a placeholder til a good soul will make a proper Buff pit.
Basically is the TK's A-6E pit and avionics placed inside the model via Lexx Luthor's stargetic pit mode.

What you must do to see this feature is:

Go into your Flight folder and in the FLIGHTENGINE.ini replace this entries:

      [NearSceneClip]
      FarClipDistance=250.0
      NearClipDistance=0.2

Than check that any Buff have

      AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll

And replace the cockpit and avionics.INI's in each folder.

Add the proper pilot as you like.

Than go to WEAPONDATA and copy:

This will add fake bombs to your model:

FLIR and LLLTV are EOGB's using their guidance to simulate EVS vision
REVOLVER is a fake MER used into bomb bay as SRAM mount.

Remember that they are droppable like bombs,so take off select LLTV or FLIR depending of day and nightime flying missions, than select SRAM or your main weapon loadout, drop it and than heading back home switching back to your selected viewing system!

If somebody fix it is always welcome or anyway this is the way to use it correctly!

Enhanced gun sight for Mirage IIIc Shahak

      In Wings over Israel

The original gun sight of the shahak was too dull, especially against brighter sky.
I made the moving gun sight more solid against the background, by repainting it.

      To install:

Copy the included cockpit folder into

      Wings Over Israel\Objects\Aircraft\Shahak directory

To restore the previous gun sight just delete the file MIRAGE3_SIGHT_MOVING.TGA

Included are some screenshots of the enhanced piper

    9. F-102A Delta Dagger Cockpit (Field Modified) V.5

This is a field-modified Convair F-102A Delta Dagger cockpit for Veltro2k's beautiful F-102A based on Pasko's F-106 stunning cockpit.

It has been modified over time by crews in the field as newer equipment came in and older equipment broke down and needed to be replaced. Apparently historically after time, almost no two F-102A cockpits had the same equipment in the same places as the others.

This is based on Pasko's beautiful later Convair F-106A Delta Dart Cockpit.

Tape gages were eliminated. Round gages were added. The moving map was removed and the radar display was changed and made a historically correct orange. The radar hood was made into a F-102A version. Lots of other detail work done was from actual color cockpit photos. It is much "greyer" and simpler than the later F-106A cockpit.

The F-102A was actually involved in air-air combat in Viet Nam while on a B-52 escort mission. One F-102A was shot down in ambush by a Mig 21 with an Atoll missile on 3 February 1968 according to the ACIG website. Another F-102A shot several Hughes AIM-4 falcon missiles at a Mig-21 but the results were not seen.

According to the ACIG website, a Turkish F-102A was in combat against Greek F-5s with shootdowns and other combats reported in July 1974.

      http://s188567700.online.de/CMS/index.php?...14&Itemid=1

Thanks to Pasko for his fantastic F-106 cockpit included in the complete later F-106A Delta Dart that you can download at CombatAce.

If I forgot anyone, I appologize and please tell me. I finished this cockpit about a year before the Veltro2k F-102A was released and I lost track of things.

Apparently some USAAF Viet Nam pilots jury-rigged a mini-gun into the F-102 for some extra buzz.

      Version History:

V.2 You can now see the wing tips and wing tanks from the cockpit...thanks for Lexx_luthor's suggestion
Thanks to Dave to point out the goof I made that it was Pasko's F-106 cockpit and not Dave's that I based the model on.

V.3 Added to the bottom right instrument panel: 1) an AC voltmeter and 2) a master warning test and reset switch which some photos show and 3) more detail to the warning light panel as per color cockpit photos making it even more different than the standard F-106 cockpit.

V.4 Added the huge signature F-102A red nav indicator light to the middle of the panel. Changed the colors of the artificial horizon to F-102 specific colors and markings. Changed the colors of the Radio direction instrument to F-102 specific colors and markings. This is probably the final version.

V.5 I now included the very specific F-102A artificial horizon this time with gray-blue top, gray markings, black bottom with blue markings which I left out in V.4 by mistake. If you compared the photo with the current F-102A artificial horizon, you can probably see the difference.

A visual thread showing these additions:
      http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=39881

      Instructions:

      1-Backup your files!

      2- Unzip the F-102 cockpit to ...SFP1ObjectsAircraftF-102A.

      3-When prompted, overwrite the files.

      Enjoy!

    10. Dassault Super Mystere B.2 Early-Mid life cockpit Ver2.0 (From CA_Stary's)

This is mostly CA_STARY's work and you should quote him as the main author. All I did was add eighteen or so items/working features to his already brilliant cockpit. I used several Super Mystere color cockpit photos to bring it to better represent an early to mid-life Super Mystere B.2 cockpit.

It has a round working afterburner warning light, a photorealistic lower instrument panel and the more standard WW2-type artificial horizon among other items listed in the readme. Thanks CA_Stary!!!!

This is a modification and repaint of Thirdwire's F-100D cockpit and CA_Stary's cockpit to better represent an early to mid-life Super Mystere B.2 cockpit.

The Super Mystere was of the same generation/class as the supersonic F-100, but was smaller.

Over Saykal, Israeli Super Mysteres encountered a pair of Syrian MiG-21s and although outclassed by the MiGs, shot both of them down.

By the end of the first day of 1967 Six Days War hositilities, Super Mysteres had destroyed 5 aircraft in the air.

In 1975, Israel sold 12 complete airframes and 6 sets of spares to Honduras. The aircraft were involved in numerous border skirmishes with Nicaragua and were finally withdrawn from service in 1996.

    13. F-104C-10 pit

Hi there, this is the pit for "C" Zipper dash 10. Goal was to make some difference - and more "realistic" pit for use with early Starfighters (A/C).
This mod is for Ajunaidr F-104C. It's not perfect but in my opinion fits the bill.

I wanna to say thanks to : Batman1978, Kukulo and of course MoonJumper.

    14. Wings Over Israel MiG-21 Cockpits

      MiG-21 Cockpits for WOI
      -----------------------------------------
ORIGINALLY BY: MAGO aka PALADRIAN, BADGER the BAD, & FUBAR512
Modified for use with WoI and multiplayer by: streakeagle
      Released with permission from: PALADRIAN

      -----------------------------------------
      INSTALLATION
      -----------------------------------------
Extract the "Objects" and "Sounds" folders from the WOIMiG21 zip file if you have not done so already.
Copy these two folders to your main Wings Over Israel directory.
      That’s it!
I have also included the original documents from the other cockpit releases.

      -----------------------------------------
      COMMENTS
      -----------------------------------------
This mod proivdes only a basic package.
It upgrades all of the stock MiG-21 variants in Wings Over Israel to be flyable.
It primarily adds 3d cockpits previously released for SFP1/WOV/WOE MiG-21 mods.
      They are slightly tweaked:
      1. Increased transparency for all glass.
      2. Removed head-bobbing, which made gunsights too difficult to use.
      3. Added preview patches to each skin.
      4. Translated the Arabic decals to make lists for selecting the nose numbers.
      5. Other files such as flight models and weapons loadouts were omitted.
Omitting the custom flight models and loadouts ensures 100% compliance with the stock game.
This mod allows hosting/joining multiplayer sessions with others using stock installs.
The addon does provide two advantages over pure stock installs: radar and rwr support.
AI MiG-21s already have these systems as they should, so can it be considered cheating?
This mod also ensures that the AI will continue to function as Thirdwire intended.
So, game balance and campaign play in single player are unaffected.
Yet, the MiG-21s are now flyable with appropriate 3d cockpits and avionics.

I have included a text file listing real nose numbers from photos.
This list could be used to make the game's nose decals more historically accurate.

    15. A-4 Avionics Pack

This mod upgrades the HUD and radar for the A-4 variants to operate
      with Avionics70.dll.

In this pack, you will find 5 folders of A-4 variants. Each variants'
avionics suite is unique to each other. The avionics suite is upgraded
      appropriately for each variant.

      ......................................................................

A-4B: No radar; simple HUD displaying heading, speed, altitude,
      attitude, waterline, and flightpath.

A-4C: AG radar; HUD updates include the additions of Waypoint data and
AG targeting data (depending on munitions).

A-4E: Same as the A-4C; HUD updates include the additions of flight
      performance data.

A-4F: Same as the A-4E; HUD updates include the additions of a CCIP

A-4ese (Super Echo): AA and AG radar; HUD updates include AA targeting
      data.

      ......................................................................

INSTALLATION: back-up you original files, then copy and paste each
A-4 folder into your aricraft folder. These aricrafts will require
the stock A-4B,C,E,and F lods from Wings Over Europe and Wings Over
Vietnam. In the A-4.ini file, it will advise of which lod file you
will need. The A-4_Cockpit.ini will advise of which cockpit.lod you
      will need.

NOTE: these avionics suites may and are most likely not true to the
real A-4s. Since I couldn't find anyreference pictures of them, I
implemented what I would think would be somewhat believable. I just
didn't think that it would only be a yellow guncross. If you happen
to know exactly what the HUD would look like on a real A-4, you are
more than welcomed to make the changes and distribute the mod.

This mod will work in SFP1, WOV, WOE, and WOI.

    16. Fishpot Series Cockpit & Ini Upgrade Pak

      Cockpit Upgrade for Pako's Fishpots (Su-9A, Su-9B, Su-11) For SF/WoV/WoE/WoI

This semi-inclusive package contains cockpit upgrades and many ini tweeks for the following Sukhoi Fishpots aircraft made by Pasko:

      Su-9A
      Su-9B
      Su-11

It is desinged for use in a post 9/08 or 10/08 game install. These mods should work just as well in a non-patched version, but this has NOT been tested. There may be issues with how the shadows are generated, so the inis supplied here use the OLD style of generating shadows ie: using the ***.shd file that came with the aircraft when released. There MAY still be issues, even with that, so shadows are 'user optional', albeit activated.

Included in the package are complete cockpit folders for all 3 aircraft. (since I'm kinda paranoid about someone =NOT= being able to figure out the same cockpit folder goes in all of them....this removes that possibility). They're the SAME pit all around; I know this increases the download size, but....
The cockpits are Ordway's radar equipped MiG pits, with various very small tweeks (mostly in the metricizing of readouts). They are not perfect matches for the Fishpots, but they're "close enough for gaming purposes". A closer, more accurate pit would be a single engined version of Boopidoo's Su-15 Flagon, but we've been unable to create one.
:IMPORTANT: there is an 'aimpoint' issue with the gunpods used on the Su-11. Please see the reference jpg I've enclosed for the 'visual adjustments' you'll need to make when using these gunpods. More info the "Notes and Other Nonsensical Ramblings Section" below.

Data and Loadout ini tweeks return to the "WP,SOVIET" attachment types, to allow for useage in any Weapons Pak, or none. HOWEVER -- the weapons will still need to be added to your stock WeaponsData.ini (for those NOT using the BunyPak ), or to the TMF Pak. The weapons themselves ARE included, in the new 'seperate folder' format pioneered by The Mirage Factory. This will create a cleaner, more readily accessable /Weapons folder without all them hundreds of loose files floating around.
The naming conventions for the air-to-air missiles has been returned BACK to the stock method (ie: as used by 3rd Wires stock weaponsdata ini, and the TMF's WepPak. Meaning: NATO codes are used for the name; R-3S is the AA-2 Atoll, etc). For those folks still using the Bunyap Pak, and it's naming conventions, loadout inis specifically designed for them are included. They are named "bunypak_***.Loadout.ini, and retain the Soviet naming conventions for the missiles.
Users of other Weapons Paks will have to make the same adjustments; it's a simple text edit in any case.
Mission statements have also been amended, to ONLY Intercept and CAP; these ARE interceptor aircraft, more designed for a 'point defence' type of mission, and do not have any ground attack capabilites.

Where information has been available, or based on 'best guesses' in looking at the aircraft, landing lights have been added, and the running lights upgraded. The Flight Models have not been touched, so be advised in the post patch world of possible handeling issues.

A new, repainted "body.bmp'', with new panel lines and etc, have been included as well. New decals ini for all the Fishpots have been included as well. These have been edited to make use of the new, post-patch Blue Bort numbers. Agaim. more info is available in the "Notes and Other Nosensical Ramblings Section" below.

Also included are the MiG RWR sounds (just in case you don't have them), and a couple of engine wavs. NEW damage tgas are included.

Obviously, you'll need all these birds to install this package too. They're available at Column5's site, and (hopefully!) at Pasko's. If you can't find them there, they are also be availabe at CombatAce, 'way at the end of the "Cold War Aircraft: Soviet Aircraft and Variants". Look on the last page, and you'll find them.

-This mod has NOT been tested in SF2 -- as I don't have it. Any attempts to add these aircraft, you're on your own! I'd reccomend NOT adding them to SF2, until such time as, or if, a new cat extractor becomes available, and the SF2 series weapons editor appears. Otherwise, you can't add anything...

It is HIGHLY reccomended you read the enclosed readme ALL the way through before installing this pak...that'll get you familiar with the proceedures and lowers the risk of mistakes and errors....

      Happy Landings!!
      Wrench
      Kevin Stein

EDIT: package updated to include corrected avionics inis for Su-9B & Su-11. Sorry people! W

    17. Yak Cockpit Pak #2

Cockpit Upgrade for Pako's Yaks (ie: Yak Pak Part 2) For SF/WoV/WoE/WoI

This semi-inclusive package contains cockpit upgrades and many ini tweeks for the following Yaklovev aircraft made by Pasko:

      Yak-28B "Brewer-C"
      Yak-28P "Firebar"

It is desinged for use in a post 9/08 or 10/08 game install. These mods should work just as well in a non-patched version, but this has NOT been tested.

Included in the package are complete cockpit folders for both (since I'm kinda paranoid about someone =NOT= being able to figure out the same cockpit folder goes in all of them....this removes that possibility), that are basically repaints of the stock 3rdWire F-4B/D Phantom, but with lots of changes and stuff. The entire cockpit folder is included, as the F-4B/D exists in all versions of the game, I feel this a pretty safe move. A whole slew of updated/modificated/fiddled with inis are included, Using the "Stargetic Moves Method" pioneered by Lexx_Luthor, and with some repainting and "metricizing" of the readouts, they make a "passable" Soviet-style cockpit. Not perfect, mind you, but "Passable".
The cockpit labeling is still in English, although the measurements themselves are using metric; ie: KMPH, MPS, Meters and KG. I made the assumption that a "Russian" pilot would see the "Russian" labels in Cyrillic; so just pretend you're reading "Russian". Your brain is automatically translating :)

The Flight Models have not been touched, so be advised in the post patch world of possible handeling issues. Oddly, the 'auto-speed' canopy seems to be working just the same as pre-patch; so it's been left alone.

The main ini has been left alone i regards to the "Shadow" section. There seems to be some 'issues' with how the game engine creates the 'new style' shadows via the main LOD. Unfortunately, there are no damage tgas yet available. Perhaps I'll do them up someday...

Also included are the MiG RWR sounds, and the "JetEngine2" wavs.

There's a pretty detailed, step-by-step readme enclosed; I'd highly reccomend reading it all the way through before installing the bits and ini, just to familarize yourself with the whole process.

Sorry there's no screenshot, but it's all pretty much the same as Yak Pak #1

    18. WOE Harrier Mod v1.0

      v1.0

This mod will enhance the WOE Harrier avionics ( some better and little more "real" look)
Also fixed are cockpit gear buttons and the airspeed indicator needle indicating tens of knots
Cockpit position is adjusted and view/aim angles changed to give a better angle for weapon delivery
Additionally, the AV-8A is modded into an early version which used the GR1 cockpit but without
functioning moving map display, only the navigation electronics were used.
The AV-8A(early) and Harrier GR1 have no attitude bars displayed in HUD A2A mode, thats no error.
All data inis have several changes effecting service years and weapon loadout/capability
They are based on WOE Update September 2008 inis in this v1.0 of the mod, but work without any problems in
WOE patched with WOE Update October 2008.

Cockpit Upgrade for Pako's Yaks (ie: Yak Pak Part 1) For SF/WoV/WoE/WoI

      Yak-25B "Brewer"
      Yak-25RV "Mandrake"

As you've all come to expect, there's a detailed, step-by-step readme enclosed that illuminates, elucidates, clarifies, and generally points the way for the necessary steps to install this Yak Pak Pt.1. 2. Unguided rockets uses the same CCIP sight - its an in game thing so you will just have to ignore it
