YAP H-34 Helo textures

I was injured in a truck accident a little over two years ago. So with time on my hands i decided to redo aircraft I thought could use help. These pics represent work on the H-34 helicopter I thought were lacking. Comments would be appreciated. Pappy

I LIKE 'em!!    Always loved these old Sikorsky's (H-19 & H-34) Don't forget serial number decals! There's a couple of places that should have listings for various units! (I'll have to find the links tomorrow)

would you consider sharing with the YAP-RW crew? if you get to talking to them, theres been some precedents for sharing as a whole aircraft here (as well as there of course)

contact is generally via their FB group, although you could go through the site as well

Are you a member of the YAP-RW crew? I hadn't thought about it. I was just going to upload here but...I am open to whatever might serve EVERYBODY best. Pete

If you've got some extra yellow, you might try one of these.  This is a 1960 Sikorsky S-58 - U.S.C.G. first named them HUS-1G and then later changed to HH-34F designation.  Interesting to note the auxiliary/drop fuel tank located lower mid-port.  The helo didn't have a very good safety record, and this was the last C.G. rotary wing model before the turbines took over.

not quite a full Avenger,  just a consultant  i helped out as they were getting up and running, esp with cleaning up the skins and decals (made my folders look puny)

but they are much more friendly and open to collaboration with this house than the previous crew was. Ralph shouldnt have any issues with it, and then you can upload the skins AND the helo

unlike the Mohawk (nudge nudge wink wink )
