Longestpants 1 Posted September 30, 2008 Not cool That's the modern Luftwaffe. The Nazi one doesn't flare at the tips.

commander 0 Posted September 30, 2008 But these 2 are my favorites of course Has anyone noticed that the vietnamese af is a copycat of US. just look US Vietnam
+The Trooper 104 Posted September 30, 2008 Not cool Why not? It is quite distinctive in contrast to the common modern roudels (British, French,Italian... etc.), without being too flashy and colourful. And it's looking quite stylish and aristocratic - it is a symbol of the German military tradition, dating from 17th century if not earlier.
Emp_Palpatine 501 Posted September 30, 2008 Has anyone noticed that the vietnamese af is a copycat of US. just look US Vietnam As ROCAF and ROVAF. BTW I find Lebanon one quite nice too, graphicaly speaking.
Emp_Palpatine 501 Posted September 30, 2008 Not cool For me either. Age-old reflexes are triggered by this sight, such as "duck and cover", looking for a rifle or an air-raid shelter.
kesegy 5 Posted September 30, 2008 croatian standard and lo-vis: i personally don't like the standard color scheme, but the Poles beat us to it with the checkered red-white combo so we had to make due with red-blue

+Gocad 26 Posted September 30, 2008 The British SEAC roundel from WWII is very nice. I leave it to Spinners to show a pic of it.
+Jug 99 Posted September 30, 2008 The British SEAC roundel from WWII is very nice. I leave it to Spinners to show a pic of it. I kinda like the current British low-vis roundel. A faded dark blue outer circle and a pink center circle.

+Dave 2,322 Posted September 30, 2008 Not cool The Iron Cross has been around long long long before Nazi Germany was even a thought. The swastika I can see provoking feelings like that. However its just plain ignorance of history if you equate the Iron Cross to Nazi Germany. The 2 are not related in the least bit. My dachshund Rommel has one around his neck!
